Before heading back to home in the Wheatbelt. I had a mission to fill the matrix grid with D4.5/T1. We did some Duck43 warm-up caches. ***This one took a little bit time to locate. Very clever.
Out with arnott.family and BJA3 for a planned day around Perth. Cache found without too much trouble and in good order. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for us and others to enjoy finding.
confused us for a long while before we re looked at the terrain rating and realised we were probably looking too hard into it. great hide! someone enjoyed a swim while waiting
No luck but found a good reading spot facing the water. Thanks for taking me here!
I have had WAGB, and caching in WA, on my todo list for some time. I contemplated booking in earlier in the year but couldnt commit. Two weeks ago I decided I might just be able to make it work. So a mad scramble began. Last minute flights, accommodation and cache plans - tick, tick, tick! Fast forward a couple of crazy weeks and Ive finally landed. Today I finally get to add the last Australian souvenir to my collection, WA! Having got up at 4am to catch a flight (2am WA time) it was a very long day, but super rewarding and superb weather. This is one of the first WA caches added to my find list.WOW. I searched and I searched. I found something promising but it turns out it wasnt the cache. I keep searching. I found some other things but they werent the cache. I gave up and moved on. Then when I was talking to someone I relayed exactly what I had found. Dont be fooled they said. I tried again and sure enough I hadnt checked well enough.Well played. You got me! Another favourite for the deception.A big thanks goes to duck 43 for taking the time to add The New Duck Run to the geocaching map for us all to find and enjoy.----------------------------------------------------------Wow! The fun just never stops.Have you logged your will attend for Victoria's first ever Block Party? (Think Mega but even more special!)Join us on 22-23 March 2025 in Sunbury to celebrate 25 years of geocaching by logging your will attend at [**GCAP417**](https://coord.info/GCAP417).?
Spent a while looking and found a spot we thought it should be in, but it wasn't. Will come back another day
Back for another search. Previously muggles were giving us a hard time. Whenever we tried to look they would jog, ride, walk the dog, amble past... Today it was quiet and we went straight to the only likely spot we could think of that was cacheworthy. Got it! TFTC duck 43.
On 4 May 2024 Geodad and I headed out for some caching. Thank you duck 43 for placing this cache and maintaining it.tftc found with @ChrisHere
Took 2 of us a good 10+ minutes of racking our brains and trying everything before we each sat down to think and it was found
Tried finding with tge fam. Pretty sure we found the clever spot it should be. But nothing was there. Could just be be a red herring though
Interesting place to hide, I felt it but didnt think it was it but then pulled it and found it tftc
Enjoyed the view. Surprisingly spotted a rat running between the rocks. Searched high and low and eventually remembered that I havent searched one area once I did, it was a quick find. TFTC
Decided to take the morning to make our way around some of the duck run. Another great hide. Thanks Duck. Enjoying these!
Headed out this morning with @jamesknowlson to find some of the often talked about duck43 caches. I wanted to know what all the fuss was about and to no surprise the caches were all excellent hides that make this game worth playing. We started off at wireless hill park, found some caches, completed the adventure labs and had a juice at the museums cafe before heading to the shore front.I decided to put on my rollerblades and we went along the shore front finding all the amazing caches. We still have many duck43 caches to go so we will be back! Thanks for placing and maintaining these caches
I found this one on Thursday 19 Oct 2023 at 11:04 am and the weather is Clear Sky 24C 45% 2 m/s . Oooh, nice sneaky one, i love these hides that take a while to find then you get a great ahha moment. Lovely. This is find number 3,007 for me. A nice micro traditional cache I enjoyed finding as part of my adventuring in City Of Melville. Unless otherwise mentioned above, I found the coordinates to be accurate, the cache in good condition and the log dry and with plenty of room to sign. Thanks for placing this cache and for the fun of finding it duck 43.*Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
Think it potentially may have been muggled as Telstra/water corp have been working on the site
Today we had rented bikes and was planning a lot of caching, but ended up biking along the water to Fremantle and back the other side, a total of 58km, so unfortunately not time for many stops as we had to be back in time for returning our rental bikes. We stopped at a few special caches and this was one of them. Thanks for the and greetings from &
Finally find it after reading allllll the logs. Feeling bit silly for taking so long tftc
Heading out for lots of finds and an event this evening.

So many places the cache could be and was assisted to limit the search area by a previous finder.
Still took a couple of minutes to find and add our names to the log.

An epic day out and about finished with 10 finds, 10 adventure labs, 1 event attended & 0 DNF’s.

Found with WayneO. This one took us a little while to find amounts all the muggles passing by but we got there in the end. Thanks for another creative hide in a lovely part of Perth. TFTC
TFTC. This one took us about 10 minutes to make the find. Thanks Mrs Dat87 for retrieving the well hidden cache
Day 2 of caching around Perth. The targets today were some pole caches, some challenge caches and some of the brilliant high favourite point caches placed by . I can see why these caches have so many favourites. Some I found. Some I didn’t. Some I abandoned early on as I had no idea. Thank you for placing and maintaining this cache for my enjoyment.
Tftc.
Very clever cache container.

Needed a bit of help but after 3 failed attempts I needed to check it off before flying back to Melbourne tomorrow morning.
Found this while out and about with Geodogs M and R. Duck caches usually elude so many and as the 2 closer to Raffles seemed harder to gain during the day with muggle heaven, thought I'd try this one. Got down lower than expected and put my hand on it, then ummmed and aaahhed as I thought I'm probably wrong. Then had another crack and glad to say Yay. Tftc Duck43
On our run to 1000 finds we thought we would tackle some Duck 43 caches to commemorate them, having never done a Duck cache before we had no idea what we were in for! What a fun afternoon discovering the sneakiness and cleverness of Duck 43.
This one was so tricky, this was the first place I checked and it took another 20 mins of looking and checking again before it finally presented itself...unfortunately geo-hubby had seen me check it so didn't think to check himself otherwise he would have found it straight away I reckon
After a long search you go to the previous logs and that is what helped in the end....no obvious clues in logs just when you put them all together it sometimes helps!
The thought and design of these are spectactular!
Well done again Duck 43 FP added!

Pulled out everything that seemed pullable- pipes, rope, bollards. No luck with running fingers around. Will try again in the future
I can’t take any credit here. AntonTB87 found this one whilst I was all the way on the other side
I was starting to scratch my head when geowife said “have you checked there” and sure enough that was the spot. She went on to call herself “the oracle” but I’m not so sure given how much trouble we’ve had on many of Duck’s harder caches. TFTC!
Very clever and unique hide yet again. A bit like my phone camera shot that has decided to be unusual too. Tftc.
Thanks duck 43 for this nice Traditional here and my number 5317.
Cache was found 10 Nov 2021 12:39 in a good condition.

Spike found this pretty easily after just sitting down and having a look around! Lots of swans and ducks out today!

With cmb212, phillario and probsty. Boom.3 in a row and a milestone for one of us. Again creative.
Cache number 400! Found with probsty, cmb212 and Redruthguy. A good birthday find before lunch!
Hi duck 43, found “The New Duck Run” today with Phillario, cmb212 and Redruthguy. Out for a caching day for Phillarios birthday and 400th cache. Find number 2006 for me.
6his one has thwarted me on more than one occasion and I'm very happy to turn this into a smiley today. A change in perspective finally helped me find the goods
Cool hide! Cache 52 of my caching streak quick dash in the rain with Shannon for this one! TFTC
Had an appointment nearby this afternoon and had time to kill while I waited for some things to be sorted afterward so figured a duck hunt by the water was a best way to fill the void. I was right. At least it was a great afternoon for Another clever duck hunt. TFTH!
