Quick park and find looked around for a bit then noticed the cache name and went yep just here.
Lots of apricot seeds I think along the fence line

07-Apr-18
Randomly ended up in this area after cruising through Melbourne City for the first time. I got a chuckle seeing the cache. Thanks for hiding it.

05-Apr-18

Making our way home slowly after finishing our Planetary Pursuit Endeavour. This one popped up on the radar just before the roadworks, so a convenient place to stop briefly. SL at 3.05pm Nice hide. #5218 TFTC 80degrees

As I'd started off being 3 months behind in my logging I am desperately trying to catch up and am mass logging to do so. Red Face

Cybergran V and dalerious had planned to spend the day finding the Space Endeavour series and they kindly asked me to join them Cool Rex came too and had his first full day out geocaching [^]
By days end which was accompanied by thunder and lighning, I had found 46 Smile caches and had 2 Sad DNFs. We had rain and were dripping wet, we had glitter and were sparkly, we had lunch at St Andrews where Rex was not allowed into the market because apparently he is a dog Razz We also found the whole Space Endeavour series and by doing so have apparently earned enough points in the Planetary Pursuit geocaching promotion to obtain all of the souvenirs Cool

I thought I saw the cache when pulling up but no... it wasn't there Surprised
Seems my next guess was much more accurate as that was where the cache was
Luckily no tools were needed as dalerious figured it out! Smile

TNLN. SL. TFTC 80degrees Smile

24-Mar-18
Clever very clever. Missed it at first for something shinier, but had the log book in hand before anyone could get to our tool box.
No tools required.

24-Mar-18
On a trip to St Andrews to do the Space Endeavour Series, with locus cache and dalerious, this was our second stop. Thanks for the nice tricky find and the chance to stretch our legs.

18-Mar-18
Found it

15-Mar-18
Have been here many times in past, visiting orchard during times of darkness, while not knowing about geocaching, but today it is daylight, and not creeping through the fence to discover what I am seeking, I did have tott that is required and made a quick find, stamped my sign replaced as found and departed the area all within 5 minutes, Thanks 80degrees, a very well designed cache in an inconspicuous place, Favourite point given

12-Mar-18
Found last night with TrailStevo on a Sunday evening escape. Hoping for double figures, but it was had Work getting there, a few false starts, a few DNF, and quite a few cache in the area that might need some maintenance. Enjoyed the drivebys, short walks and exploring the area. TFTC 80degrees

11-Mar-18
Managed to find a few tonight, although it wasn't smooth sailing with a number that we were going to visit indicating many DNFs or missing. TFTC

02-Mar-18
Got to ground zero which was a bit busy on the road at the time of day and looked around while my gps did its usual dance. I reread the clues about clever hiding places etc.. until I found a likely spot and there it was. Well hidden and TFTC.

Off I go to Melbourne! Down from Canberra for a caching trip around the Mega! Big GrinCoolBig Grin

Found and replaced in between traffic. I like this style of hide-an easy find to a seasoned cacher but invisible to a muggle! Big Grin

Thanks for the hide, 80degrees Smile

I'm not sure I put it back in the right spot - it was lying on the ground so might need checking.

Very clever hide. Took a few mins & a bit of reading through some other logs to check it had nothing to do with the wires sticking out the top!

This one had Geo-son going for a while...having done T2 (the original)...had to step in and help with a hint. "That's a ripper!" He exclaimed!! TFTC (again!)

28-Jun-17
Awesome hide! Thanks

17-Jun-17
Good find.

12-Jun-17
I came from Yan Yan Road and found there was no parking room on this side so had to do a U turn to park safely off the road. Once at GZ though it was an easy find, even though it was very well concealed. A great Camo 80 degrees, gets a favourite point from me.

20-May-17
Peak hour time is not a good time. Trying to dodge cars to get it out and back! Cransie and krams

04-May-17
Great hide! Left a bandaid...dont know why...maybe because of the barbed wire hahah

04-Mar-17
Found on the way back from a day of fun at Funfields. Nice hide. TFTC

No problems parking here on the soft verge and no problem accessing this cache.
I haven't been up this way in ages so a few good caches await me this morning.
Thanks 80degrees

30-Dec-16
TFTC partner found this one after I was scratching around for a short while. Another catcher had visited here today as well. Wonder if they are on the same route as me

01-Nov-16
Melbourne Cup Day = Family Fun & Exploring Day. Toured the Kinglake and surrounds area, visiting parks, reservoirs, and waterfalls, with picnics and of course the obligatory fire and giant marshmallows: yum!
Yan Yean Reservoir was our first stop and we were very surprised there was no cache there, so this was the closest to find, and found it we did. Always appreciate clever and creative cache construction. Looks like some over-zealous cachers have attacked the phone wires pole nearby - its not it there so no touchy!
TFTC Smile

17-Oct-16
We finally found it!

15-Oct-16
This was a quick park and grab after attending a party down the road at the Reservoir. We had found a cache similar to this, so as we pulled up, we knew exactly where to find this one. TNLNSL. Great job 80degrees.

17-Jul-16
Out for a day of Caching and 4WD'ing on this lovely sunny Melbourne winters day. This was the seventh of 8 finds for the day and another quick easy find which was good as there was an abundance of traffic whizzing by including a police car who was probably wondering what we were doing on the side of the road. TFTC. TNLN.

TFTC - g r e a t c a c h e !

Thankyou for making this cache part of our journey today - timing & circumstance found the kids searching frantically on the side of the road. Love the work & thought gone into this one - definitely a highlight amongst the many finds.

10-Jul-16
Clever cache

08-Jul-16
Innovative!

Looking after Geokid's friend (Catcat10) today and she requested that we go geocaching. We found this one straight away. The Geokids were very impressed. One dead kangaroo nearby which they used as cover for any muggles. TFTC.

27-Jun-16
I enjoyed finding this as it was easy to not attract muggles. Jeckleberry and Ted were there with me and they found this one but i soon got ahead ending with a total find of 6! TFTC

11-Jun-16
Very clever hide Smile

02-Jun-16
T2 was one of the first caches I found. It is one that I compare all my finds to. I'm so glad that it has been resurrected. Thank you 80degrees

28-May-16
Very nicely hidden. Adz looked here and i thought i would double check... thankfully i did!!!

21-Apr-16
haha nice hide!! almost got us Wink tftc

05-Apr-16
We have just finished the latest installment in Dad's Mt Disappointment Driving Lesson series. I had predated too many stickers and had 3 left over. A few quick park and grabs and our total was 73. Might as well make it a nice even 75 so we stopped off here on the way home to make it a neat 75.

05-Apr-16
So we have just completed the last 70 caches from Dad's Mt Disappointment Driving Lesson and Dad had written the dates on 3 too many stickers.
We now had 73 for the day. Might as well make it an even 75 so this was our last.

*Arachnophobia Maximus!!!!!!!*

Opening the wrong object revealed **Shelob** and a multitude of offspring.
She didn't take kindly to our intrusion and true to her name as a huntsman, she proceeded to chase me towards the traffic... Now, I know that I could have just trod on her but it didn't seem like the fair thing to do under the circumstances. After all, I was the intruder. So I weaved out and around and back to GZ where I replaced said item, very gingerly.
The cache was then revealed and with a furiously beating heart, the log was signed.
I am at home now and even after a hot shower, my skin still seems to be crawling...
Thanks for a great finish to a fantastic weekend including, a concert by Steve Eales and Russell Morris, a night up at Flowerdale estate, kayaking in their dam, Melbourne's 1st geocache, Valley of 1000 Hills and our first Derringer cache find at Crossing Point.

Happy Birthday to my other half Christine AKA: +wife
Happy Easter to 80degrees.

A favourite point to you for the idea behind this cache and the construction.

23-Mar-16
Passing by this morning I thought that I would stop here for a quick park and grab. My success rate on your caches is slowly increasing and I was able to add a smile here.
Thanks for another great camo-ed cache.

16-Mar-16
Out with the Swaggies so he can beat his best most finds in a day. It was way above my best day by a mile. Just completed the first 60 of the Mt Disappointment series. 3 days later another 30 plublished.

With today been the last day off from work until xmas day I have, I was on a quest to hit 1000 before the end of the year. So Happy Pants and I hit the road for a day of caching.
What a cool container, love the camo!!!
Nice work.

25-Nov-15
We realised we would be passing this so pulled over for a bit of a park and grab. We soon spotted something and it was a nice bit of camo. We opened it up and found the log. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC

19-Sep-15
Found this one tonight after working all day. I was targeting remote caches for a NZ challenge cache I am doing currently. This was the first find and a relatively quick find but there were surprising amounts of cars / traffic around tonight.
Signed log and went back to car and onward to the next cache.

Thanks for the cache 80degrees.

10-Sep-15
Travelling home from Goughs Bay to Vermont via Bundoora and so Whittlesea seemed like a good spot to grab a cache or two to stretch my legs.
Nice piece of work guys, stopped and started inspecting one object and then noticed this suspicious object when the light came on. Nice hide.
Thanks for placing this cache 80degrees

06-Sep-15
Found it

06-Sep-15
A quick drive by on the 'long way' to Whittlesea. What a great hide, we saw it looked, discounted it. We love those caches that make you go - ah...that it. Fantastic. TFTC.

For the second time today, Morcs4 and mini-Morcs4 both saw the cache at the same time, about ten hours before me. This superpower of theirs was getting scary. They barely glanced out of the car before they saw it. Yes, I fetched it for them, and signed the log while they were busy spotting caches within the nearest 100kms. Nice little hide 80degrees. I'm sure if I hadn't been with two supercache spotters it would have taken me some time to find.

Straight after geodaughter swimming lesson, we raced home to pick up Vanessa(&Aodh) and headed to Have You Got Rock in Your Head for our 2015 D5 Road Trip, which we found really quickly so we wanted to do more, of course. As we drove up to this one, I said "there it is" and geodaughter piped up straight after with "Me Too". Vanessa was not too happy that we spied it so quickly but I reminded her of my hubby's occupation and that we have done a few more than her. We made her hop out and sign it for us too. LOL. TFTC. Now we have time to do more caches before school pickup.

After getting up stupidly early to drive from Melbourne to Molesworth for a FTF, I decided to cache my way back to Melbourne. This was the last cache for the day—a quick detour before heading to the Hume. As I pulled up at GZ I could see something that looked suspiciously like something I've seen before. My hunch was correct, and I was signing the log in no time at all. Yay! TFTC!

The kids asked me what I wanted to do today as it is my birthday, and I said lets get some caches.

I over thought this one and pulled apart the wrong part. Pretty funny when I worked out where the cache was.

Thanks 80degrees for the cache.
