##Cache Maintenance Required please.##
This geocache has been brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit, to address the issue described in the logs.
The cache owner needs to either fix the problem or archive the listing, after picking up any geo-litter. In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page.
See the maintenance section of the [Geocache Hiding Guidelines](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance).
If there is a good reason for a delay in enabling this cache, please post an update note log here on the cache page so that everyone will know what's going on.
When the maintenance is completed, you can re-enable the listing by entering an "Enable Listing" log, and then post an "Owner Maintenance" log to clear the "Needs Maintenance" attribute, if set.
I will check back in 30 days to be sure that the maintenance has been done, or that further information has been provided.
If there has been no action to repair the cache, or explain the situation, unfortunately I will need to Archive this cache. Caches archived because of lack of maintenance will not be unarchived.
The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is out there to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.
Thank you

Site is overgrown and waterlogged. Broken glass and dead birds found during search. Disturbed possible animal burrow sites in search
Took us a while, buried under vegetation but GPS coordinates are accurate, very small.
Since Friday, 14 May this year, it was good to be back here on the picturesque Tasman Peninsula to do some Geocaching, Hiking and general exercise and to just plain get out and about and enjoy this lovely state.
This one i didn't find back on 14 May, was in my sights to try to find again.
After a nice bite to eat at a Cafe near Port Arthur, i drove to this one and parked near on GZ. Used the GeoMobile to cover me a bit as i had a poke around.
In hindsight; i didn't need to be down on the beach which was at high tide coz the cache was found without the need to drop down that 1m in order to find it
Once found and log signed [at 12:50 on Sat 31/7/21] that popular ABBA song with it's title repeated 5 times, came to mind here ha ha
(As for that raincheck i made on Friday 14 May when i DNF'd this one?
It 'somehow mysteriously' expired on Friday 30 July 2021 )
The cache and contents are in great shape

No luck for the wee blue birdy here today as i noticed loads of seaweed all along the small cliff face from road level down to the water level and i f the hide is in there somewhere i will wait till the forces of nature move it
(I didn't wanna make it look like i was picking their beach apart in an effort to find it, so i will leave this one for now)
{I'll take a rain-check on the 'proposal' hee hee }

Tricky little spot. What a view! Island of the dead out there. Too wet to sign. Tftc
Our first interstate find! Beautiful location. Container still in good condition. Thank you!
Enroute to further south on a mission. Nice spot to stop and imagine the locals do have a great view. Soggy day tad soggy log and tried to make a mark. TFTC
After a day out with my tribe exploring the area we were heading for home but I remembered we still had this one cache to stop for. Pulling up at GZ we all enjoyed the view for a while and then I set off to find the cache. It didn’t take long to discover the tiny beasty. With scribble left on the log all was replaced as found.
Such a romantic gesture!
Happy to part with a FP for this cache
Thanks for the smiley scottymyth

gridge98 decided he wanted to go for an overnight trip to hobart and collect a few caches and also head down to port arthur to collect the old virtual. I was keen for a drive to get some hours up for my Ls and to find a few caches along the way. A great trip away and some cool sights seen.
Apologies for the generic log.

This took at least three times around before I finally spotted the cache. Then I got rained on heavily.
With a proposal like this I am sure you’ll be still happily married after 8 years.
It’s funny, just shortly ago I said to S_38 that if it was me ever having to propose (never gonna happen), I was exactly as what you actually did!

Suscoe was wandering the roads of the Tasman Peninsular today.
It was a lovely day with some drizzly rain in the morning, some sunshine as well and a solid South Easterly wind.
The roads were quiet down here today which made the wandering quite pleasant.
We did a lap and a bit which showed us the range of the countryside from farm lands to bushland and everything inbetween, we were also amazed at the number of homes located around the delightful bays.
Thanks to scottymyth for this hide and great location.

today, RLD4963 and I went for a drive on the peninsula whilst my son and his girlfriend were visiting the Port Arthur Historic sitre.
This one was a DNF for me at the end of March last year, so I was keen to turn this one into a smiley today, and it was our first stop for the day. Today it was a nice quick find, so I'm glad to turn this blue sad face into a yellow smiley face.
And, it's been quite a few years since the event, but many congratulations on your successful proposal.

Still continuing our Tasmanian holidays and now in Port Arthur. Got up this morning very early to hear the gale force winds. But nothing was going to stop my usual early morning caching run, so at 6.30 am I was already out and about.
Driving towards the Remarkable Cave, I slowed at this point to look for a good parking place. On the return trip I was able to park right at GZ, and made a quick find because it was completely uncovered.
Lovely idea for a proposal and I am happy to say I was asked to help arrange the same. GC80QZ9. In that case, she got the FTF Engagement Ring prise.
Thanks for the cache Scotty Myth

This is a nice spot which I hadn't been to before. Quite serene. I found the cache without issue. I hope the marriage is going well!
I was so happy with what I saw when we arrived. The tyre swing had my name all over it but first I had to find the cache. With the signing duties done I hit the beach.
Naturally I wanted to jump on and swing before asking any questions but that little voice in my head told me to slow down (that little voice was my wife). Test the rope first. Make sure you aren’t too heavy. Make sure your life insurance is up to date. Nag Nag! tftc

TFTC....managed to lose our pen after signing this one, ending our caching for the day...
Took longer than I thought but eventually found it. I’m sure any muggles would wonder what I was doing but tried to be discreet
Tasmania Day 2: Maria Island and the Tasman Peninsula
Today’s jam-packed agenda saw us heading to Maria Island to marvel at some cliffs and wombats, before heading south towards the Tasman Peninsula to take in the geological wonders of the area. Today’s journey showed us how dramatic Tasmania is in terms of its sheer mountains and how the forces of man and nature have shaped the unique history of this place. Thanks for all the caches placed by the various owners that highlighted the wonders of this gem of an island!

Another great day in Tasmania with some found geocaches. There was also a ghost at the Remarkable Cave and Mount Wellington. On the way there was still some bycatch. Thank you for the caches !
On a beautiful day, I spend some time searching for caches. This was one that I could find. T4T$!
Found with MummyPenny on this drizzly day as we cruised around, enjoying the sights and making a few finds. Thanks scottymyth.
Hello scottymyth thank you for the cache.
I had been to have a look for this cache many months ago but with a group of muggles sitting across the road I didn't look too hard.
Today knowing the cache had been replaced and having a previous finder with me and I thought it would be a very quick easy find.
The car was parked to give some visual protection from any potential muggles across the road and I got out knowing where to look for a quick find.
There was nothing there, as I continued to search EeePees came to see why I was taking so long. We both searched for a little while before I jumped down onto the sand to see if it had fallen down. It didn't take too long at all before I said "here it is I've found it". The reply came back "that's not what I found". Upon opening the cache and looking at the logs I noticed that the last log was 29/12/18 by lookawookie. So this must have been the first replacement cache which didn't go missing at all it was just well camouflaged, as lookawookie said in there log.
After a little decision and trying to rind Membsec for advice we decided to put the cache I found back where I had found it and take a few photos so we could show where it was now hiding.
Back in the car we were in the process of making a U turn when I thought I saw something hanging on the picnic table nearby. I got EeePees to turn around an go back to have a look. Yes hanging by a piece of wire from the table was the last replacement cache. We sent a photo off to Membsec asking "is this where it's supposed to be?
Well what to do now? I decided to put the cache with the recent logs in it, that was hanging on the table back where EeePees had found it, and as per Membsec's maintenance log. I then went back onto the beach and collected the older container.
It wasn't too long after leaving GZ for the second time that Membsec returned my call and I told them what we had done.
Thinking about it now I would strongly suggest someone goes and have a look at what I have done with you cache I would hate for it to go missing again.

One of only 5 caches grabbed today after spending the majority of it visiting the Port Arthur historical site.
Mr Beetle parked the campervan strategically so that the muggles in the house opposite couldn't see us. The cache was then quickly found as the very colourful lid was exposed.
Even on a dull day this was a very nice spot and a great one to ask someone to marry you.
Thanks.

Hi scottymyth, thanks for the cache, and its accompanying romantic story.
Thanks also to your in-laws for the recent maintenance.
Thanks also to Nataliec1234, whose recent log greatly assisted me, after I'd spent way too long making this way too hard!
As the logsheet is small, I signed it as EPs.
It would be prudent to park in front of the big tree to provide a 'barrier' from the over-the-road neighbours' gaze.
I had to drop off geoSonE at White Beach for a scout camp last night and with a pickup tomorrow, I decided to stay nearby for the weekend to do some caching.
This morning I cached from Taranna to SaltWater River (Coal Mines).
I then returned to my Port Arthur cabin and made lunch.
Then it was back to it, caching from Remarkable Cave back to Port Arthur, before dinner.
