"Temporary" fencing still in operation at the site, but purpose and timing still unclear. A visit to the site today gives us an idea for an alternative arrangement, and we will work on that over the next couple of weeks.
Works going on in the vicinity here, and the cache location is fenced out with security fencing with materials and equipment inside the fenced area. Not sure yet just what is being done or how long if might take, but will keep an eye on the site to see what happens. May have to move location at some stage, perhaps.
Spent 20min here searching. This cache has clearly moved location and missing log.

Congratulations to Ben777 as the first cacher who actually used the 903 bus for any of the caches in this series.
Stop 6 on my 903 caching adventure ultimately proved a failure. Even though I arrived well before school knock off time I found the area immediately around the cache occupied by a large group of teenagers, so I got back on the bus and moved along to the next stop.
Returning later on my way home I found GZ clear but after quite a thorough search I came up with nothing. There was nothing resembling the object in the photo attached to the structure mentioned in clue to found either.
Thank goodness the clue here for #7 is easy to retrieve with or without finding the cache!
From here I decided to make my way home by rail as the traffic situation would be far worse and a change of scenery would be a good way to finish the day.
Thanks daunts for a great series.

It's not where the photos show it at though there are "tags" on the pole, looks like it's been removed.
Couldn't find this one, didn't have a very good look though as it was quite busy...
Embarrassed to have missed this despite the hint and spoiler pics! Thought I had it figured but obviously not. Sigh....
We knew this was not going to be an easy one to find due to previous logs but we sure did pick the wrong time to try to find this elusive to us cache. So many muggles walking by and 2 muggle worker vans parked so close to GZ with their owners having lunch and watching us!! Had a quick look but to no avail! Not a good idea being here at lunchtime!!
TFTC daunts that we hope to find one day???

Nice quick find at 2am. You would not believe my luck when I arrived at gz. There were 2 muggles arguing about 10m from the cache however they quickly departed in a taxi and I made the find with ease. Tftc Tnln sl. Ps good luck hiding this when the trains are running
I had decided to have another bash at clearing out caches from my 10km from home circle. My last go at clearing out these caches was way back in July last year. At that time, I think I visited this cache (looks like I was naughty and didn't log a DNF). I remember hunting around for ages, which I did again today. The cache just wouldn't jump out at me. Eventually I walked away and decided to take a look from the front of the sign. It was then I realised, you can't get onto that platform!!! What's with that? On coming back to the cache, for some reason in two seconds, I had found it at 10:21am. I should have been quicker!!
Thanks for the cache daunts, it's a tricky one, or at least it was for me!!
P.S. The clue is missing, I will email you...

Hevic and I grabbed this one on the way towards blasting a few out of my 3mi radius. A clever hide, to be sure - definitely one we needed stealth for! Hope to come back and finish the entire series one day - cheers daunts!
Found with CJ-Curry while attempting some other's elsewhere. We'd walked right past it before I decided to check if there were any others nearby. This one was, so we backtracked 150 odd metres, found it fairly surreptitiously, signed and returned.
thanks!
thanks!
due to the large amount of muggles at the bus stop, i had to wait for 15 minutes before i could retreive the cache, apart from that TFTC!
I stared at this for an embarrassingly long time before I realized that it was my cache. Thanks for the fun.
This is a lovely old station. There was no trouble spotting this one, something stood out very nicely! As I signed the log I checked but unfortunately couldn't find a clue for the final? Thanks for the cache.
Interesting cache. Spotted it a few days ago before I had a chance to look for it properly.
Find # 3938 @ 2:46 PM. My wife and son decided to do some baby shopping at highpiont, so I had an opportunity to do some caching. Easy find, TNLN, Left my mark in the log, Thanx for placing this cache....
Found this one today. It took a while to locate the cache but soon I was signing the log, collecting the clue and continuing on. Almost finished this series now - looking forward to collecting the middle one soon.
Thanks for the cache daunts.
Thanks for the cache daunts.
Found with MysteriousMrX on a night-caching mission. The cops on the station seemed interested, but not fazed, by MrX's mysterious behaviour. Thanks!
The place had several muggles waiting when I arrived but they soon moved on. In the meantime I got the hint for the puzzle cache. I would have had the cache quicker if I had believed the GPS more, and then the cache wasn't what I actually thought it was from the hint, but logic won out. Thanks again.
After deciding we needed to pull over and change a tyre, we stopped near this one. Great find after some hard work with tasiedevil
Found it!! This one took me forever to find!! But it is such an awesome cache! Thank you
I met up tonight with my fellow Demolition Crew mates Trailrunning, Rebel Acts and Blacklegend for another fun filled night of caching. We didn't have a large number of finds tonight as we picked up quite a few time consuming caches as well as stopping to pick up caches that some of us had already found previously and some of us hadn't. It was a good way though for each of us to finally clear out some areas.
At this time of night we could park adjacent to GZ on along the main road. A quick hunt and the cache was found. Thanks daunts.

This morning I had a meeting in Moonee Ponds so afterwards I went chasing a few caches in territory I don't usually get to. First stop was this cache. In the middle of the day, the biggest problem I had was finding a parking spot...yes, I know, I wouldn't have had that problem if I had done this by bus as intended...but it's not a perfect world .
Anyway, I found the cache without much drama, signed the log and went on my way to find some lunch next. Thanks Daunts for this cache. That's two of these found now and with many more closer to home to find, maybe one day I will complete the whole series .

I was attending a funeral around the corner at St John's and noticed there was a cache nearby, so after the ceremony I skipped the moist kisses from old aunties and went for a walk to GZ Thanks daunts for a great urban cache
Found 1:39pm , find # 1893
Today I met with a couple of old school friends for lunch.
This was our first meeting for 24 years so it was it was an enjoyable occasion which I topped off with a few caches afterwards.
This one was the 1st of 3 finds before I left for home.
When I approached this one I thought that the coordinates were a bit out taking the hint and the theme into consideration, but a quick search didn't reveal a cache.
Then I trusted the GPS and another possibility presented itself, which proved to be the correct location.
A quick find ensued.
Thanks daunts.

Went with some mates. Must've looked like idiots but we found it pretty quickly. Thought we'd do this as a taster to see how it was, ended up finding five (and doing a lot of walking) that night.

Found with ProBleMatiKal. Had to abort the first attempt at this due to some youths in the vicinity of GZ. Came back later when they were gone but it still took us about 5 minutes to locate the cache. Very well concealed. TFTC.
I spent a lot more time than necessary here feeling around the whole length of this structure, even widening the search wondering if the coords were accurate. Yep, they are, and as I was about to give up, I happened to spot this one in front of my face. If it had teeth it would've bitten me.
Thanks again daunts
Thanks again daunts
Luckily when I arrived at GZ I was alone and anyone further afield was paying me no mind. It took me a minute to search as my nexus had me placed a suburb south.. no help there. With log signed I hunted down the clue nearby and was soon back on my way.
Nice one. Thanks for the cache.
Nice one. Thanks for the cache.
Waited for a break in the muggles then swooped on the cache. I didn't look at all conspicuous as I made the most of the shade the trees were providing....... Nice hide.
I proceeded here after a find at #3 and thankfully there were few muggles to bother me. The cache was proving a tad elusive, even with the hint [8)], but I finally spotted the sneaky hide at 13:30.
Unfortunately, there was no clue to be seen anywhere but a PAF call soon had me with the required info . Who woulda thunk to read the cache notes [8)] ?
TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks daunts and Melbermans.

Couldn't find this earlier in the day while some bogans sat right nearby, returning at night saw the place much quieter. I grabbed the cache and wondered where the clue was, although I didn't read the description and missed out on grabbing the puzzle clue. I'll have to swing by again sometime to grab the clue.
Found this sneaky bad boy after searching high and low.

Found whilst travelling with Leb_hustla06, after a few minutes of searching in the night stumbled upon it nicely placed. great hiding.

Another quick one, this isn't the only cache in which I couldn't find the hint to the final. May cause problems later down the track. Thanks for the cache daunts.

We arrived behind a bus, not a 903, and wandered over to GZ. The subtle camo had us baffled for a while but Mrs LZZ picked it out and the "container" was in hand at 16:05. We had to wait for another bus to take away passengers to the south, before we could collect the data for #7 coords. TFTC
Today we were just around the corner from this cache having the famliy get together (5 families!) at my Aunt's restaurant. After enjoying a $#!+load of food, we decided to head home. Of course with this cache being so close, I couldn't resist forcing the taxi to come around the corner to find this cache .
There were a few muggles waiting at the bus stop however luckily, I was shielded from their view. The train came just as I was about to make the find so when I did retrieve the cache, I was able to sign the logbook in peace. I have seen this hide many times but they always put a smile on my face.

Suscoe arrived here as THE BUS was leaving!!!!!!
Soon found and dealt with and no one was around as they all got on the bus!!!!!!

Nicely placed hide! Missed it on first examination but had the "doh!" moment shortly after. Thanks.
Found @ 2:05am, find # 1800.
A great night of caching for the *SSS*, SirJ-Oz, Spladem and myself.
We had just finished my key ring mission and now it was on to the next mission of the 903 bus, but there were a few others inbetween.
We arrived at this one and once again the race was on to find the cache, this time it was John's turn, he soon had the hide located but this time we found no clue, as it turns out in the excitment of the chase no-one bothered to read the cache description to find out what we should have been looking for to obtain the clue. Oh well we will just do it the hard way instead.
Thanks to daunts and Melbermans for this cache.

I made my way across to Greensborough at about 6pm for a meal / going away party at a Japanese restaurant. This went later than expected.. Steve and John re-shuffeled their plans and spent more time around Heidelberg before we met up closer to Greensy.. We decided that this series would be a good target for the night with no logs yet still on the half way final for the series.. At each cache we made it abit of a race to find the cache.. we still shared it around a fair bit..
This was one of about 24 caches for the night.. Signed as *SSS* being Stemicmitsar and SirJ-Oz and someone.. We had a great night.. a fun all nighter of caching and endless puns.. Thanks for the cache daunts and melbermans..
I'd already found the Altona one, however this was otherwise the first in the series for tonight..

Found @ 02:05 with stemicmitsar & spladem. We were on a mission involving bus 903, but we stopped to grab a few caches in the way. I spotted the hide from a distance and swooped in for the grab while the others were looking around GZ. There didn't seem to be a clue with this one.
Find 17 of 31 for the night.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.

Picked the right time to attack this one. 11.00am on a Sunday morning had the place mostly deserted.
Just as well, as I needed it! Had me lloking for ages, more than what I would have liked. I even was convinced that an old rusty kettle in the tree had the cache inside that I couldn't get to!! LOL
After around 15 mins was just about to give up.....and there it was in plain sight, if you are in the right place at least! Slapped my head like Homer and shouted "Doh". How ironic just as I had found the cache, the 903 bus arrives! TFTC!

This was an easy find today.
The bus swung past and took the last passengers away.
I dived in and found the container.
I then took off and was on my way.

I think you need to up your stars on this one. (lol)
There were people everywhere.
I was able to grab it ok. But then along came a smoker. with his cup of tea.
He sat on the brick wall. Near G.Z.
So i had to wait . for him to leave.
Finally i was able to place it back.
Thanks daunts. A great cache. [:x]

An easy find on my way home from night shift. The area was busy though, with lots of cyclists out for their training runs, and the station coming to life just before peak hour.
Thanks for the hide.
Thanks for the hide.
Found at 10:20pm on the way home from badminton just around the corner. Was expecting this to be more muggle-prone but I had a clear search and no difficulty finding. This was the second closest to home on my list.

Another Monday night and another legendary TDC night run in the Melbourne area, this time primarily out west. Lots of laughs on the way, and lots of great caches found, my thanks to the CO's for all the caches placed. About 30 finds personally for the night, and as always had a great time.
Yep, as TR said, muggle central, but with a few of us, it made it a little easier. TFTC.

This was, cache # 9 of 36 finds for the night out with my good caching mates TrailRunning and Blacklegend on another of our Monday night adventures. Took a little time to find this one, I guess we should have read the cache description so we could work out the required clue. My thanks to daunts and Melbermans for the cache.
Another quiet Monday night comes by and it's time to go caching with some good friends Blacklegend and Rebel Acts. Tonight’s run takes us to the northern and western suburbs to clean up newly published caches in those areas. Personally it was a tally of 28 caches for the night, but we visited many more than that and it’s not about the numbers right, it’s about the journey.
The boys were in fine form, and we had a few laughs. There were many good caches tonight, and all thanks goes to the CO’s who took the time to place the caches.
We stopped here, and with it being muggle central, it was hard to search, but we got there in the end. No clue on log sheet? Odd? Thanks.

Was in the Essendon area today and needed to find a couple of caches to fill in an empty day on the calendar. This was a quick find and I enjoyed the camo. Thanks daunts.

Muggled out of the search on the way out, I drove back past, waited for the few people that had arrived on the train to filter out of sight, then began my search. With a couple of interruptions to the hunt where the torch had to be turned off, I spied... Ah, one of those!
Oohhh... Just after midnight. Two days covered in one short caching run.

I am very familiar with this location, passing through here a couple of times every day. But it's often too busy to hunt for a cache, so I saved my visit until today, a quiet Sunday. A few minutes of search time, and I had my hands on it. I'm looking forward to seeing this series build over the coming months - keep them coming!
Found @ 16:45 hrs after a search taking longer than it should have thanksw for this cache daunts and Melbermans
Found at 1141. Nice area, this - I remember coming here a while ago to be part of a show that was being held at the hall across the road. Surprisingly high muggle activity had me on a fake phone call for a while but once things quietened down, I made the grab. I suspect this one may be missed by new players, but that's all part of learning the game. Forgot to look for a series clue on this one so will have to go back at some point and see if there is one.
