Hey Morley,
I Had to wait to geo son logged and I was only leaving it till today anyway. Sorry it was annoying you!
I did not have anything to do with the award for most micro's...It was fellow cachers that suggested the award to be given out on the night and I okayed it. with not knowing who it was to be given to or the criteria.
Sorry you missed out being there and being eligible for the "Golden Amo Can" award.
Watch this space for the next event called 11/12/13 maybe you plan for it now it will be at the same place in twelve months time! Oh and it will be on a Wednesday night.
Have a great year every one.

hey Steve
If you leave this up any longer I might log that I attended!!
but you know I didn't as I didn't get the most micro caches award. gees it was only 70 odd micros in the year, or was that 80 odd - nope I believe it was was around 90 - but they are not all in this area, some are over 300kms away

This was my first event that my dad put on that I was able to attend. I had a great time talking with you all and meeting new people.
Thanks dad for letting me attend this night.
Hope to see some of you at the next local event.

We enjoyed playing at the Ettamogah pub...thanks Nana (sevabo) for taking us to this event! I want to do more geocaching now
Thanks Steve for another great event where I met some new and old faces.

What a fantastic turnout for yet another event at this location. I enjoyed chatting with a few familiar faces and even meeting a few new people. The presentations were a good bit of light hearted fun too.
Thanks steveishere for another fun event.

#1637- What a great event- good to see some oldies and a few newbies too. Great venue (the kids loved the air hockey). Congrats to Team Sunderland for scooping the pool with the prizes- a novel event idea. Thanks steveishere for organising this one- and an electronic souvenir for this special day too.
My 2nd 12/12/12 event of the day.
After doing the 12:12am in Wollongong this morning I had to make this great night!
Had a great time tonight, always good to put faces to names.
Good turnout and The awards were great also.
Thanks again Steveishere

Funny how all the Mountains cachers ended up banding together. Saw many new faces too. Towards the end was when we really got to talk to some of you.
Pretty good venue, never been here before, might come back when I get of age lol.

Another good event to catch up with the community. We should have had an award for putting extra effort into events with steveishere the winner, of course. Thanks Steve and best wishes to all.
Tae Kwon Do commitments for the geokids meant I was late in attending, was good to meet some fellow cachers and hope to catch up with others I missed in the near future. Signed log with a stack of attendees signatures above, great turn up Steveishere. Capped off the night completing The Biblebeltishere.
An enjoyable night in a sociable venue where I got to have a chat to some of the new faces who I haven't seen before. Good to put some names to those faces and always good catching up with those regulars. Everyone was very friendly and made for an enjoyable event. Well done to steveishere for a great event. Thanks for your efforts. TFTE.

Many thanks to SiH for staging another fabulous event. Great to catch up with lots of familiar faces and a few new ones. Impressed that MV and TeamSenz drove all the way from Newcastle and of course great to see a strong contingent from the Blue Mtns.
Thanks Steveishere for organising - was great to put a few names to faces.

Another year over and another Caching event done. Turned up a little early, grabbed some food and joined a merry mix of cachers from near and far. Enjoyed chatting away and putting faces to names. Loved the awards and even helped give out one as well.
Great night, good company, well done again steveishere , another successful event done and dusted. Hope all had fun, I did !!!

Having attended last years 111111 event and since we were all going to die a horrible death at midnight (I waited up, it did not happen), I had to come over to visit friends over in this district.
It's a bit like Hobbits, the Hills Hobbits, the Mountains Hobbits, the Newcastle Hobbits, the City Hobbits, just as much fun, but less hairy feet!
It is always great to go visit this area to catchup with friends, faces and people you have never met before.
A great turn out, a milestone or two was reached for some yesterday so grats on that, apparently, according to some, I have never put a micro out, they have obviously not done my new Film Canister cache....
So, if you are not busy on Sunday, the Mountains Cachers are having their Crissy party at Faulconbridge and you are all welcome to attend!!

Nice to have a change in routine & get out to a caching event mid week . Nice to catch up again with old friends & to finally meet a few cachers whose names I've seen but never met before.
Thanks for organising this, I'll try to get back out this way over the Christmas break to find all of those new caches you placed .
And as Webguy has already said, christmas event in the lower Blue Mountains on Sunday, come along if you're not busy finishing .

I left early this morning from Newcastle with TeamSenz to not only attend this event...but to also complete the WRPT series. Arrived here after a fantastic day of caching...and soon met up with some familiar faces. As the night went on...I managed to meet and chat with some new faces...and share plenty of geocaching stories. The presentation was a lot of fun and a good laugh...just no more micros guys...OK! Had a great night before heading back home to Newcastle.
Gratias steveishere.

I used to look at the Ettamogah Pub cartoons in People magazine when I was a kid. The magazines weren't mine, of course - they belonged to the barber or some uncle. The bikini ladies on the front cover were beyond my understanding, but the pub looked like it had interesting things happening, which was completely opposite to mundane reality. I first noticed this version of the Ettamogah as we started pushing further from home on our caching trips. I always wondered what it might be like to sit in that cartoon pub, with its sloping walls and cartoon reality. Maybe it would have big glasses, just like those Merry and Pippin discover in Bree, and there'd be plane crashes and horses wandering through the bar, and a drunk at the end of it, unconscious with little stars circling his head.
Unfortunately, reality is never quite the same. We started towards the Ettamogah and discovered that there was a real entrance, with real crowds and a very long, very real queue for dinner. Luckily, McDonalds was close by.
It didn't take long to spot the caching crowd, some from the mountains, others we're familiar with, others, not. As usual, I never really got to speak to anyone new until later in the night. I'm a bit shy and it takes a few cold waters before I loosen up. But it was good to speak to Martin Cousins and the Trixter, whom I have never met, along with a few others.
My sons played air hockey without the puck or the air. NickoHeap asked me for a game, but I was on tender hooks, waiting for Santa Claus to arrive, and I could never have managed it. Santa must have been busy. I hear he's been experimenting with a moveable, stuck somewhere on Rudolph, but the reindeer is telling no-one. Perhaps more will be revealed at the Christmas Event in Faulconbridge this Sunday.
Thanks, of course, go to Steveishere, who has now introduced me to yet another reality, the world of the Ettamogah pub, and given me the incentive, the hope - dare I say it? - the dream, of one day winning a little trophy for being the most verbose writer of attendance logs at an event. Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou.

We had to leave a little early as I had a big day at Jambaroo the next day, but it was great seeing people and talking to steveishere jnr. The air hockey was really cool too! Thanks for a great night.
Well what another fantastic turn out from far and beyond!
Thanks so much too all who came along and mixed in with all our little hobbit family's,
Wow we all survived the end of the world as well and lived to find a cache another day.
Great to see every one and meet the new and upcoming cacher's.
To those who traveled from Woolongong, Blue Mts. and Newcastle I applaud you and thanks so much for making it a great event.
To your family from mine I wish you a Very Merry Cachetmas.
Stay tuned for the next caching Corner Capers Event

Thanks for organising this meet. Glad to be able to put faces to some of the names I've seen in the logs and meeting some of those who clearly have waaaaay more time to geocache than I.
coming with my daughter and geograndsons and looking forward to meet you all there.
Agh I was looking forward to catching up with every one as it has been a big year in the area, with a couple of hundred new caches out there to find, gees with Blundo, Gibbo and myself I think we have all increased your numbers significantly all without going to far from home.
With PPE screwing with my brains and all the other hiders thanks for a good year of caching, now all i have to do is find the three 5 star ones in my 5km radius and I will be a very happy boy.
As you probably can tell work has take me away from this event which I was hoping to get to, to meet the finders of my caches and put some faces to names, and names to cacher names and to hear some of the stories of pain the streak caches caused. (sick ain't I)
Anyhow wish you all a safe and Happy Christmas and a cachie new year.

Hi all will try to get there but on a Wednesday night it will be difficult, being a scouter I have to prepare to take over the world that night..... agh hahhahahhaha so may just drop in early.
Argh Steve! There was already a 12/12/12 event on in town that we have said we will go to so unfortunately we wont be able to make this one
