When we researched this cache for our trip, it was still operational. Today we went to GZ and after a short search, it was located. The cache and contents were in good condition. When we came to log the cache tonight we found that it was now temporarily disabled. We hope that this cache can be maintained - could it be adopted by a local cacher? Thanks for the cache Hair Net.
A quick find even though it was not at shin height. Very quiet in the park. I could hear and see the neighbour across the road but managed to stay hidden. TFTC HAIR NET
Touring Australia having left Perth in late February we are leisurely touring South Australia.
Currently camped with our Caravan at Kuitpo, we had to head up to Murray Bridge to see a Chiropractor, and just happened to find some caches whilst in the area.
We had to dodge the showers but all in all it was a successful and mostly dry day until time to head home at 5.30pm.

Lets set the scene, its around 8;00 am Easter Sunday morning I am 49 years old with a beard wearing a back pack in a kiddie park on hands and knees in the bushes. Then I hear a car pull up nearby,What do you do!!If it had not been the megga event i would have just walked away, instead i decided to stand up and see what happened next.Car door opens ,car door shuts ,next thing I see is a pair of hands holding a gpsr, make the decision to introduce myself in the hope that i can get some help as this was not a place that i really should hang around.Absolutely scared the crappers out of clare007 once her heart started beating again we reintroduced our selves and not longer after Clare did the find. The hint no longer is accurate.

Well, today was going to be a massive day, the plan was to try and get 12 cache types in one day. Those involved in this little mission are myself, Spladem, Riddell & Phillip. We would start gathering nearby caches in the morning, then head to Adelaide for the others required. Cache types we were after were: Traditional, Multi, Unknown, Letterbox, Whereigo, Event, Mega Event, CITO Event, Virtual, Webcam, Earthcache and finally the new kid on the block, the Lab Cache.
This was another opportunistic find on the way through town, quickly found by ME!!

Enjoying driving around Murray Bridge and picking up a few caches along the way. It's a great way to explore a place and find out things non-locals never otherwise have the chance to find out.
Mr Ski was very impressed with the cache guardian. A 6 inch long lizard placidly sunning himself on top of the cache container. As Mr Ski approached he slowly and calmly moved away to allow access to the cache.

Back in Murray Bridge after a drive to the Victorian border. Phew, what a day. Time to grab some caches around town before it gets dark.
Found this one with Kestal and MissLill as part of our OZ MEGA weekend , down from QLD.
I wish I hadn't looked at the hint as it was totally incorrect. If I had just followed the GPS and looked down, I would have had it in a heartbeat! TFTC

While at the OZ Mega event in Murray Bridge we decided to attempt a 24 hour challenge and see how many caches we could find, our final count from midnight to midnight on the 13th of April 2014 was 247 caches (not too bad for a couple of grandparents).
After a bit of sleep in the car, we completed the wandering heroes trail the next day, and continued on to the 2014 mega caches .
We discovered that all the preparation we put into this helped make the challenge go smoothly...
plenty of maps, batteries, lights etc. Our only pitfalls were lack of sleep and a lack of loo's along the way
Many thanks to all the cache owners for their creative endeavours in making of their cache hides.
Sorry for the generic log.... we have almost 700 to do in total for this wonderful long weekend

After a long drive and a good nights sleep we headed out and about the Murray Bridge region.
Today It was decided that half of TPS would ride their push bike down the shorter trails in the area, whilst the other half grabbed the straggling caches and also provided motivational speeches over the UHF! After a long day of caching and a good hardy dinner we set off and completed some of the night caches in the area! A good time was had by all on our first day of the OZ Mega!
Thanks HAIR NET for the cache!
