The cache has definitely been stolen. Someone sawed through the chain with a file (which was found nearby) and made off with the ammo tin. [v]
The puzzle is too hard, so visitors are rare.
The location is full of mozzies.
The hide is compromised.
The lock was always fiddly.
The unique contents, while not strictly necessary (although they added to the experience) are all but irreplaceable.
The special lock (which was a key aspect of the cache -- in fact it was the reason for the cache's creation) is getting more expensive and harder to source.
I almost archived this a couple of years ago, but was persuaded not to. It's now time.
Thanks to all who have found it over the years, thanks for all the FPs, and my apologies for anyone driven mad by the puzzle (or sucked dry by the mozzies!)

Sounds like this one has again deteriorated. Based on the fact that I almost archived it two years ago, was persuaded not to, and it only having two finds in that time until the last group who found it broken, I am very much inclined once again to archive it. Disabling till I can get out and see what it looks like, at least, but I don’t think I will be reviving it.
This is a puzzle I solved a long time ago with lots and lots of google searching. It was not an easy task.
After a morning kayak talk turned to this cache and that Eat Sleep Cache Repeat and Ardom were heading out there. Asked to join them as it turns out I now need to find caches with field puzzle attributes in January.
I navigated KerriMG who was following me to the furthest place to park away from the cache as a quick look on the map it looked like that road went through. No matter I need some steps. Arrived at GZ to find E&A walking in circles still searching. We had 4 of us looking in ever increasing radius from our GZ still with no luck. Ummm.
Started again and Eat Sleep Cache Repeat called out those great words. Found it - kind of. Well the first 2 words were good. It seems in the last 18 months of sitting here a lot of the cache has been destroyed which did take away the field puzzle element of the find. We left our names and headed out just as the march flies found me.

Just as we were about to call it quits we spotted something! Yay! Shame we didn’t get to see this cache during its better days..
I had been putting this off for ages - I did not like the length of grass when I first looked at this, and said I would come back in winter. Several years later... Cache found, but likely missing large portions and dead... A bit of a shame, but may explain 18 months of no finds.
After tagging along on the yaking/fishing adventure this morning, I tagged along to Nemesis as well. Due to our slightly dubious choice of parking location Ardom & EatSleepCacheRepeat were already searching when we arrived. Unfortunately our everwidening search failed to reveal a healthy cache but we did find a cache of sorts in which we left our mark as best we could.
Thanks for the puzzle & cache EngPhil

Oh my word, you are an evil evil man!
With the exception of challenge caches (which I am years away from meeting the ALRs for!) this has been my closest cache to home for a long long time. In fact, were it not for your caches, my 5 km would be clear right now (challenges excluded).
I've absent-mindedly (is that even a word???) googled before, but never really gotten anywhere. Today, I faced the most boring of all management meetings, the budget review, and decided to google while I contributed to the budget. Sure, the figures might be a bit rubbery, but we got there.
I pulled on this thread and that thread, and had 4 of the required 6 numbers within 90 minutes. The other two were not coming out for me, until I slightly changed what I was searching for. Ahh, bingo! There is the 5th. Bugger it, I'll jetski the rest :p.
'
I now know far far more about Gradius and Nemesis than I ever though possible - including the fact that I have it on my mini NES! Ooh yes, I should play it at some stage.
Righteo, off to the cache. Found it, but you bugger! What on earth is that? Uuuhhh I am woefully unprepared and admit to PAF (with a follow up google at home, you are very clever, dear CO!).
Log signed, I sat back and smiled, and admired this truly Nemesis cache. Until my phone let me know that there was a new cache published only a few kms away, and I was suddenly back into the real world.
This is a truly awesome cache, for which a FP has been gifted. TB has been taken from the cache.
TB visits.
Now, back to this regex nightmare....

Based on feedback from the last finders, it sounds like the cache is physically in better shape than I had been led to believe.
I might let this one run a little longer yet.
A couple of the questions have been updated to make them a little easier to solve. None of the answers have changed. Let's see how it goes for now....

8/3/20 Find #3521
There are times I could say anything in regards to my brother and caching could equal nemesis. A certain evil “regular” series for starters.
This cache I had looked at a few times but couldn’t get very far with.
But recently it came up in discussion with Fangsoki, and he all of a sudden realised it was perhaps something he knew a bit about.
Roll on a couple more days, and there was a notification that came through from EngPhil saying he was thinking this cache had done its time. Well if that isn’t enough motivation to get people’s backsides in gear, I don’t know what is!
So last night, Fangsoki began his mission to crack this one, with me watching smarts at work. A number of times I heard the comment “clever EngPhil”, as Fangsoki realised just what was being referred to. I couldn’t make sense of one question in particular but Fang had found something. Eventually when we had all other info tho, the checker didn’t agree, so I questioned something else I found instead. That seemed to be helpful with more sensible numbering at least, and after a little bit more fiddling we finally got the green checker.
So today after breakfast, this was to be the first thing on the day’s schedule. Parking the car we wandered over, well equipped with bushmans after I became good mozzie fodder during yesterday’s escapades, and headed in.
Careful placement of feet was required in places, as after the recent rains there were puddles and muddy patches to navigate through. But soon we spied something on approach. Yes!
Charging over, we uncovered the cache and as I gingerly grabbed the container, I was met with Madam Cache-Guarding (and eggsack guarding) Huntsman. A fine and clingy specimen, she wasn’t about to let go. Now I’m sure this wasn’t the field puzzle part of the attribute, but she certainly added to the difficulty. When she finally scurried off around the tree, I pulled the cache as far as possible away... which wasn’t very far at all, as the tethering job ensured this was going nowhere.
Ok well I guess we will have to make do and hope for the best.
Fangsoki immediately recognised what the field puzzle was about, and with my nimble fingers (and having read that line on the locking mechanism about resetting it properly!) we soon were inside to find a little treasure trove of goodies and a very interesting addition to the cache.
With log signed, we made sure to reset everything back to normal and headed off.
Thanks for the cache EngPhil. A favourite point for what is no longer our Nemesis.

Seven years. That's how long I have not looked at this puzzle.... despite being within 10km of home.
It's nothing to do with EngPhil - who I have always found to be quite an agreeable fellow - but moreso that it is a puzzle. I am not crash hot with puzzles - much less Difficulty "4" puzzles.
1MinnieMoo mentioned to me this cache was indeed her nemesis. I happened to look at it recently and noticed it was based on an arcade game.
During the 1980s and 1990s, one could always find a young Fangsoki playing computer and arcade games. I thought I actually might have a chance to solve this one.
I looked at the questions and realised what kind of "language" EngPhil was using. Some answers came easy. Some should have come easier. Some I still can't believe I managed to get.
1MinnieMoo certainly helped out. I ended up being very wrong on the "switch" question - which she managed to point out. We eventually ended up with good numbers... and consequently a GZ.
1MinnieMoo and I parked up today and we made our way to GZ. It was somewhat wet underfoot - but nothing too terrible. I managed to very nearly get a face full of spiders a few times.. before we arrived at GZ and finding a cache.
Of course, finding the cache was not quite good enough. We knew what was what here... as I'd done many variations of it in my day
We opened the cache and signed the log. Ha! And a nice bit of memorabilia in there, as well EngPhil!
This puzzle had me frustrated for hours - but I enjoyed the challenge of doing it. I am just sorry I didn't do it earlier.
TFTC EngPhil - an easy one to dish a hard-earned favourite point out to I vote you keep this one alive
Now... if you don't mind.. I am just going to go and fire up Steam....

Note, some information for this puzzle has become harder to find as of a couple of months ago.
The puzzle is too hard. The cache is too fragile. This means that I visit to fix and replace bits more often than people visit to find it.
It's time to go. I will most likely retrieve and archive this cache within the next couple of weeks. Thanks to all who have suffered to find it.

For quite some time I have looked at this puzzle and had more false starts than a hundred dollar whipper-snipper. No matter what I searched for online I couldn’t pin down all the answers, and I thought Google knew what I was thinking before I did. Lately I have started operation: “Finish Up Northside Caches Whatever It Takes” or FUNCWIT for short. It means I actually have to apply myself and not crack the sads and take my toys home when things get hard. Unless my wife tells me to clean up my mess no shrivel of work can be discarded.
Still after hours of reading all things about the “spacies” I still had a subject-able answer and some random number I pulled off a Wikipedia page. The only thing I could do was download a version of Gradius for the phone to console me. Firstly life sucks without a joystick and when I got the hang of things, found that the only the first level was free. What is it with all these game developers that want money for their creations? I needed a teenager stat to download me a cracked version.
In the end I had to bribe an old-school gamer with a coffee to help me get what I needed. Unfortunately his mind gets clocked at a score of 999 and his mind resets but not before showing me where that sort of information existed. Old gamers don’t call it the dark web for nothing but mainly they do it because they can’t beat their 10 year old kids on any game released in the last 20 years.
After finding a suitable entry point we soon tracked down the cache but encountered a lock we had not seen before. I wasn’t even sure how it worked. I had spent a lot of time researching the subject and roughly knew something that could help and a quick Google showed why cheating is fun. The problem was it didn’t work.
I tried 10 times to no avail and said to my wife that I must look like a goose. She said, “No, No, Thats your normal look”. She had a few cracks while I researched other ways to cheat the system. Maybe on my 30th repeat the lock flicked open. Hey, we’ve all blamed sticky joysticks before for losing a life. Future finders may want to treat it like a sensitive nipple and be gentle. tftc

Nemesis seems a most appropriate title, given that I have picked up this puzzle many times over the past few years, only to put it straight back down again!
Given that it has since crept up to fifth closest unfound cache to home, I gave it another bash. A sizable nudge from a friend set the Vic Viper on the right course and today was the day to collect.
Having dropped the kids at school I was wearing civilised attire and hoped the recent rain hadn't left a quagmire for me to contend with. I needn't have worried, it was just some long wet grass and mossies that awaited me. I soon found the well protected and secured container and applied my newfound knowledge to prise open the vault. Log signed, 1 TB in and 1 TB out. Adding an FP to the pile.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache **EngPhil**. Discover our TB

I had to head to the northside to drop geodaughter at a party so figured I’d pay another visit. Got the shiny new field puzzle first go and it deserves a favourite. Dropped a TB. TFTC
Back in action! Apologies for the excessive delay.
Cache now has a weatherproof shield to protect it a bit better from the elements. Please make sure it is well covered upon departure.

I walked past this today and checked in the hopes that the CO had replaced but forgot to enable. Nothing there. ;(
Cache has been repaired and just needs to be dropped back into place. I hope to get it done this weekend.....
I'm going to have to log this as a DNF. After two visits, confirmation from the CO that I'm using the right information, and over an hour of trying, I can't get through the field puzzle. Thanks anyway
We were sitting out on the back patio this morning having breakfast before heading off to soccer. Mrs 4ando read about 2 lines of this puzzle and flipped it over to Mr 4ando and said you’ll love this one. His eyes light up and I thought I gave it to him to soon now I have to deal with my nemesis…dirty breakfast dishes as he was too occupied.
As Mr 4ando is still solving the puzzle when it is time to leave we say c’mon we have to go to soccer, to which he mumbles, arghhh my nemesis, the kids taking over my lifeDuring half time out comes the phone to receive some correct co-ordinates.
Soccer finished, geo-teens homework completed, time for us to head out. Located cache and hit a hurdle. All good, phones back out and we are sure we are on the money, but computer says no!!! Mr 4ando was the first one trying so all he got was get out of the way, you must be doing it wrong

I've just noticed what might be an error in one of the questions. Not sure how this would be possible as clearly several people have managed to solve it. Until I get a chance to research the discrepancy some more, if you aren't getting any luck with the checker, try dividing M by two......
It's been a while since anyone but the mozzie minion platoon visited this one, but a maintenance check today found it still in good order. Come and find it folks!
#35 on Big Monday.
After a fast run of several easy caches, I munched a few choc bars and drank a lot of water before heading to this one. The puzzle research had been quite difficult: lots of sites and I think I was misled by some DIP switch info at one point, but not to worry, because I got the tick in the end and happily added it to today's 'play-list'.
To save time, I looked for the closest entry and found what looked like an easement going to a gate. When I reached it, there was no gate, just a fence. Although my legs were starting to get a bit weary by this stage, I climbed up and over and hoped no one called the cops.
Then it was time for a bush-bash. My usual fear of snakes basically vanished through all the bush-bashing I had to do today. I just ploughed in and was surprised not to be able to see what I'd call a typical EngPhil bush hide at my GZ. After a while, I took some initiative and made the find. Relief!
Now, not for the first time today, I was quite concerned about the field puzzle in front of me, but this time I had something written on my hand which I thought could come in handy... And it worked perfectly. What a great device to tie in here! After signing up, I was keen to be on my way so replaced everything nicely and headed off. I decided against more acrobatics and just took the long way around, waving to a friendly muggle on the way. TFTC where all is great.

This was my 24nd find and 20th different DT combination so far today - all gathered in my quest to qualify and complete the Unique Difficulty/Terrain Challenge (Qld) - GC5C5PB.
I had no end of difficulty solving this puzzle. I have had a couple of cracks at it before, but never got the green light from the checker. There is an amazing number of different versions of this game on different platforms with various options all adding to confusion. But with a juicy DT, it was a must for today. So I persisted and eventually got there.
When I eventually got to GZ in the early afternoon, I had correctly anticipated what was to follow and was well prepared. And yes, I was expecting the mozzies guarding the thing, but I hadn't anticipated the mound of angry killer ants right next to the container.
I swatted and stripped ff clothes and jumped up and down to remove them all. Eventually I was ant free, but covered in bites. But how do I get to the container??? No cheat code will help me now. Nothing for it but to grit my teeth and brave the onslaught.
Finally the container was open and I removed the logbook and signed it a safe distance away. Then I braved it all again to return the logbook and leave things as found. Job done.
It was a busy tiring day - amongst all the solo navigating, clue collecting and record keeping, I managed to complete 4 challenge caches including this one, visited 3 higher terrain paddling caches on my canoe, waded through some mozzie infested swamp, climbed a multitude of trees and finally cleared the map of a lot of nasty puzzles that I have been working on. Nearly forty caches and 13 odd hours later (with 35 unique DT's under my belt), I returned home.
Thanks for the cache, EngPhil! Am thinking about returning to GZ with some Ant Rid as payback.

Thanks for the cache, EngPhil! Am thinking about returning to GZ with some Ant Rid as payback.

Cache is right where it belongs, still guarded by my faithful swarm of death mozzie minions. No muggle settlement visible from GZ as far as I can see....
with a previous finder...
looks as though someone is living just near them in the bushes now...
hope i'm just cache blind but didn't want to search too long just incase

Wanting to clear the local area, sat down on the computer to research all there is to know about nemesis. Not my first arcade game of choice (preferred galaxian), I did have the occasional crack at nemesis over an ale when I should have been diligently attending lectures.
Eventually finding all the answers on google, I was amazed at some of the reported 'high scores' by people around the world!! Put my answers in the checker and after 2 attempts realised I had horizontal and vertical mixed up . . .
Had an early morning walk to GZ, preparing as well as I could for an expected twist. I was concerned with GZ so used a long stick to check that joe blake wasn't resting there and found the cache in pristine condition without a minder.
Not having seen this type of restraint before, went to work as a few interested and well meaning mozzies decided to watch my progress. My earlier preparations had made for a quick opening. No swaps made so signed the log and returned it to its lair.
A fav EngPhil and enjoyed the challenge and walk to site.

This was SO much fun. I looked at this a couple of times and found bits and pieces of information but got stuck so left it for a while.
I figured it was time to have another go as I'm trying to clear that area. I found all the information that I need and got the go ahead from evince and filed it for another time knowing it wasn't a pleasant place after dark.
I took an early mark from work and battled traffic to come and make the find. I knew there was another part to it, but without knowing what to be prepared for I figured I'd suss it out and come back later after doing some research. And that's exactly what happened.
So back today after another battle with the traffic and armed with my research I soon had an open cache and a log book in my hand.
Thanks EngPhil for a well put together puzzle and very clever cache. A fav from me.
All is good with the cache.

I went to visit Nemesis, that little trick at the end had me stumped, and the mozzies were unpleasant. Home for some more research - hope to be back tomorrow to sort it out
Maintenance check with MissGeosie, all in perfect condition. Replacement cache is holding up much better than the original. If only someone other than us and the resident mozzies would solve the puzzle and visit it!

Cache has been replaced in a new spot. Note that the puzzle has been updated accordingly. Enjoy!
Yup, the firemuggle did a fine job of destroying the cache. Going to take a bit to rebuild this one, too.
MissGeosie was most gutted that all the cool swaps she saw in it only a few days ago are now a molten mess.

Sigh.... why is it anytime I chain an ammo tin to a tree, the Council firemuggle comes along and bakes it?
Just had a call (thanks Net88) with the sad news that this area is ablaze. The cache is probably destroyed.
Will check it out as soon as I can safely do so....

Oh Mr Prime... let's call it even, shall we?
Sounds like the cache may need a little TLC even after my recent visit. [v] I'll leave it in place for the moment, but will probably pull it back out over the weekend to see if I can make it work a bit better. Anyone planning on seeking this one over the next couple of weeks, please contact me first to ensure there's something there for you to find.
If you do the right thing, it should just open easily. I'm thinking it may not have been as weather-resistant as I'd hoped.
Either that, or the mozzies have vandalised it.... again.

Seems I may have been partly responsible for the mood of CO when this one was placed. Having now solved and signed it all I can add is .... 'sorry everyone'. Dear EngPhil, I am so so sorry to have stolen your spot, please please cease taking your anger and frustration out on us poor cache hunters.
There's a puzzle. Honestly, at least to me, I really thought it looked straight forward and simple. A couple of good words into the ol' google engine and I'd be on my way. [:o)] OK, a few different words perhaps? Actually, I was starting to think of eBay and see if one was available to buy before I finally got Geochecker to say nice things to me. Sheesh, phew. All the hard work finally done, and so today I thought I'd just nip on by and make my mark while I quickly pass by.
Aaaah, no. [B)][xx(]
OK, Plan B, Honey, I'll be a bit longer than I first thought. Should've read the description all the way to the bottom, plus a few of the logs. Now, something in front of me twigged a vague pre-caffeinated brain cell. With those and that . Hmmmm. That could be used like . Quickly brought back up on my phone some of my notes and went back to a couple of my research entries and I had something that would make perfect sense.
If only it worked. Not stiff and didn't feel broken, but it wasn't giving me what I wanted. But I was convinced I was on the right approach. Try, try again. No, I am absolutely convinced I've got the right idea. Not upside down. Not done with clenched fingers. Patience grasshopper. Another try ... --click-- oooo. Was starting to eye off those hinges with thoughts of oxywelders, but I behaved and persevered, and the feeling of SUCCESS is awesome.
I do not know what I did differently the last time compared to the first many, but it just worked as one would expect. And wow, I echo those sentiments comparing the cartridges. Wasn't a player in those days of such games so this was all foreign territory, and a learning experience. Good stuff.
By about now I noticed that the teeth marks on the chain matched the teeth marks being left on my body by the masses of mosquitos-gigantis that are native to this bushland. So quickly, and safely, returned, secured and re-covered the container and got the heck outa there hoping they hadn't stolen my bike.
Thanks for placing this cache, EngPhil. Found in good condition.

Hmmm, what a very suiting name for a cache! This one was certainly my Nemesis for a couple of weeks But it seems third time lucky worked a charm.
Today in the company of Net88, mini munchkin and /dev/gc0c, we made the journey to this one again. Certainly didn't need to follow the GPSr this time, just about know the path to this one blind folded. We all arrived at the familiar looking cache and got down to trying to get the sneaky thing open. I tried with no luck and then /dev/gc0c gave it a crack, still no luck. Good thing /dev/gc0c is persistent however as after quite a few attempts he finally managed to get the crazy box open Yay! Team effort. After having fun going through the goodies inside we opened the log to find a strange message, um, a few weird people in this neck of the woods. Ah well, we all signed the log and then replaced the cache as found.
TFTC and puzzle EngPhil sorry to hear of your hard work going up in flames

Nyssaflutterby and I had been here before but couldn't get the logbook so we were heading back today, this time we were bringing our secret weapon /dev/gc0c. We got to gz and found the cache quickly. .. again. We told /dev/gc0c what needed to be done and he started trying. I think I counted 4 or 5 attempts before he got it open. We signed the log and looked at the contents. /dev/gc0c locked everything back up and we headed back. Thank you for the cache engphil.
Maintenance check this afternoon (after a tipoff that things were amiss) found a few issues:
* The cache is a little stiff and sticky to get into. Be firm and deliberate, but don't force it.
* The cache's attachment mechanism had been disassembled and incorrectly reassembled by a previous finder [v][v][v] -- there is absolutely no need to disassemble anything, I'm amazed and disappointed that anyone would even consider doing this. If you even think of using any kind of tool, stop, you're obviously doing something very wrong.
* Apparently as a direct result of the above, a muggle (?) had apparently found and accessed the cache, and written a very inappropriate log in the book -- this has now been removed.
Aside from the stiffness, the cache is again in the intended state. I trust that future finders will treat it properly.

I remember when this cache first came out, tried to go for an FTF thinking they show up on your stats page. Ended up going through hundreds of mostly Japanese websites and managed to get a few facts out. Came along with the help of Nyssaflutterby and Net88 to get the cache today in a bit of an unexpected journey.
That cartridge sure is bigger than the Gameboy ones I used to collect!

Very interesting puzzle and managed to get some coordinates for this one.
Out with Barbbowman today and decided to grab this one.
Interesting concept which I have found on another puzzle at GZ.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks EngPhil All good with this cache

Yes, we did it.
Lady membsec was heading to school to help out for the day when this cache was released so while she stopped at a nearby bakery, she phoned male membsec to let him know that he had some work to do. She was very disappointed to arrive home late in the afternoon to no solution. We needed to go shopping for some great specials at a nearby shopping centre, so left this puzzle. On return from our shopping, got some great bargains, lady membsec had a quick look at the puzzle and came up with some different sites and ideas but then became brain dead after listening to about 50 children read to her and plus, we needed to go to bed early so we could get up to attend the dawn mob event! [|)]
At the event, we were talking to fasted 59 and barbbowman and compared notes. With this information male membsec had a new lease of life and as fasted was heading to work and lady membsec, barbbowman and Nyssaflutterby had other plans (ftf frenzies on an island) we left the ominous task to male membsec. While on the island we kept in contact with male membsec and eventually we had the answer we were wanted!! "SOLVED IT", well about time as we weren't coming home until we heard those words!! [^]
Nyssaflutterby dropped lady membsec off at barbbowman's house and male membsec joined us. Great discussion occurred on where all the information came from and we planned our approach to GZ. Now we waited patiently for fasted 59 to arrive home. Fasted 59 was quite disgusted that his tea and nightly beer had to wait because we were going cache hunting but we figured more brain power was needed once the cache was found. Evil!! We had also talked about some possible evil "problems" that EngPhil may have placed at GZ and we weren't too far off the mark with our thinking.
We didn't know whether we were going up, down, sideways, under or over because our heads were spinning around. Luckily the smart phone helped us, is that cheating? NO!!!! Smart!!!
I must point out that I think it took fasted more time to put it all back together than it did to eventually sign the log.
Well done EngPhil, but please, please, please don't put any more puzzles out there. Your puzzles and the twists are challenging enough without old barbed wire fences, clinging vines and those ******* mossies.
A favourite point from us.
Well done Mat and Jen on the FTF - don't know how you got the right info so quickly - maybe a miss-spent youth!!!

Was at work when this one came through and was unable to chase the answers down, as some of the searches I made came up with a big red "You can't go there when you're at work page" [:(!]
So after being at work all day, I arrive home, grab a beer and start searching for answers. Had one, but got too much for me...over to you Barb.
Next day, talking to membsec and comparing notes, we had an idea where to go. Unfortunately, I had to go to work and as we now know, I can't search at there. All the girls decided to headout for the day, so male membsec got lumbered with the task.
Arrive home from a long day after rising at 3.30 am, to be met by wife who states, we've solved it, lets go get it. So membsec, Barb and myself, back in the cars and off to GZ.
No EngPhil, I did not think it would be that easy, and intially had no idea what to do until..."Oh it goes like that"
Now where was that cheat sheet again? There you go, I did my bit, we're in
Two girls doing happy dances, Terry and I just shake our heads
Wish I had taken more note on how it opened, as it took a bit to remember how to secure it. Relax EngPhil, all good and secure now.
Favourite point from me. Please don't take that as encouragement to put another like that out

Joint *FTF* with Jenn_Eth @ 4:45pm.
Saw this cache appear this morning and had a quick look at it, but had lots of things to do all morning until after lunch. Jenn also was not around in the morning, so she couldn't look at this either. However, after lunch we both had some time, so we did the required research (yes, it's quite tricky!), and eventually earned ourselves a smiley! Woo hoo! We were both thrilled about that, but by that time we had more things to do and were unable to get out there till a bit later in the afternoon.
While keeping an eye on the geochecker to see if anyone else has solved it yet, we eventually found the time to be able to get out and look for the cache. So off we trot and found the cache fairly easily - I would definitely take mozzie repellent, as this place must be a scientific breeding ground for them or something, because they were everywhere! Or maybe they were geocaching mozzies trying to get to the cache before us! (good luck with the field puzzle guys!)
Speaking of the field puzzle..... so we get to the cache, and found out our fun wasn't over yet! After a lot of deliberation between us, we finally figured out what Phil was going on about, and after remembering something useful during our research this afternoon, we were soon able to come up with what was required to open the cache! Great final puzzle there Phil - that is going to stump a lot of people!! You should have heard the cursing going on while we were trying to figure this one out! (well mainly from me, not Jenn).
Beautiful new blank log book which we signed both our names on for a joint FTF! This is my second FTF and Jenn's first
Thanks Phil for a great puzzle and a great cache!

Joint *FTF* with Matt_Eth @ 4:45pm .
Saw this puzzle cache released this morning. Took one look at it and thought we'll leave it to someone else to solve/find. So while Matt did some work, I went off to meet up with some friends at North Lakes .
Got home at lunch time and saw there was only one so we thought we give it a go . Matt had roughly figured out 2 of the answers before I got home. So it wasn't long before we had some answers and got a green . Yes 7 of those is us .
We then had the problem of school pick so off we went to pick up the kids. Got home and wondered whether we should attempt a FTF or not this afternoon with peak hour traffic.
Decided to try so I quickly sent off a PM to CO and off we went.
Traffic was really good on the way there. We found the cache really quickly too (great coordinates). The field puzzle took us a little while. With mozzies everywhere, we finally solved it and opened the cache. My first FTF . LOL about what's in the cache .
Matt kindly let me claim the FTF prize .
Thanks Phil for a great puzzle and a great cache!
