As this cache has been out of action for too long and the cache owner has not performed any maintenance, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

I noticed that this cache has been in need of owner maintenance for an extended period of time well in excess of the period of "a few weeks" as contemplated by the cache guidelines published on Geocaching.com. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other caches from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it (using the archive listing link in the upper right) so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location.
If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) and then repair the cache within the next 30 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication/action.

There are 4 needs maintenance logs since July, Co hasn't logged on since Aug, and the contain is smashed to bits, no log.
Logged as a find but only because I found GZ and the remnants of the cache. Disappointing.
As with many others before, I will log this as a "found" because the cache has not yet been disabled. There were indeed remnants of a cache container , hence located GZ OK, and would have been able to sign log. Presume the cache will be reinstated ..... Because this is such a great location for one. Thanks for the effort of creating the cache and hope it will become a longstanding landmark geocache. TFTC
I will also los this cache as a found.
The box was destroyed and it wasn't disabled.
The next Point is, we are from Germany and have no chance to go to the location again early soon.

Found remains of cache. Another quick (:/) find? TFWLOTC (thanks for what's left of the cache)
We found the remaining part of the cache, the container is destroyed, mawic will log a nfm.
This one needs maintainance. We found bits of the cache. The railstation building is magnificent. Just take a quick look inside...!!
Or at least the remains of it. It would be nice to see this spot up and going again!
Found only a piece of a systema box... i think that was the cache... maintenence
Well found what is left of the box. If I could have found the log book then it would have written my 100th Cache find. I hope this can still count.
Good spot, hope you replace the container soon.

South Island take 2! I got a second chance to travel around south, so I'm trying to pick up a few caches I didn't have time for the first go around. Finally made it to Dunedin & decided to do a little night caching. But yes, sad cache. Wish I could've fixed or hidden better. TFTC!
This was my first find in Dunedin during my vacations in NZ.
Really nice railway station!

Nice easy quick find at the local station. Container still smashed and contents damp.
Whilst visiting Dunedin on the "Radiance of the Seas" we grabbed this one.
Nice easy find with a little muggle-dodging. However the cache really does need a new container, it's just about down to a plastic bag only !
TFTC (just love your city !)

walked from shuttle drop off, after a nice 8 mile bus ride from the ship Oosterdam. Cache is damaged without a lid , but fortifided with plastic bags. I dropped a TB from USA so it could hop around NZ and Australia maybe before comeing back to US. I took a local TB that wanted to be in this cache, but I'm not sure it wants to go to America.
fun caching here.
fun caching here.
Arrived on a cruise today and took the scenic railway--nice trip. Afterwards we had time for a couple of caches before heading to the town center and backto the ship. Thanks for the concenient cache. It needs a new container.

Found 6:47pm , find # 1963
Currently travelling through the South Island of New Zealand.
Today we drove from Mt Cook village to Dunedin, through one of the most cache rich country areas I've seen.
Wish we had more time to get bigger numbers, but had to just choose random caches in places where we wouldn't lose too much time.
This was find number 19 for the day.
A bold hide and easily found, but it's in a shocking state and needs some serious owner love. Log soaked, container broken, bundled up in a plastic bag with a temp log in a mint tin.
Thanks ZCA.
