Out tonight knocking off some ballarat caches with FMS4, TAJBENTLEY. Camo is coming off the container. Thanks Shamus1 for a quick find and muggle free zone at night
As the Moose grabbed it in the rain, I read through the logs saying they had no muggles around. I thought that would be the case today, with the weather, but no, there were heaps of them out and about. Thanks for the hide.
Stroll at the shops.

Found with Geokid1 this morning. We spotted the cache easily. There were a few muggles here and there, but not too many. While the coast was clear we made the grab. The container is looking a bit shabby, might need a tidy up by the CO. TFTC Shamus1, I'd hate to attempt this one on Christmas Eve.
Up in Ballarat for the day with #GeoHulk & sorceysal converting some more caches into smiley faces.
A quiet day here today making for a muggle and hassle free find
Thanks Shamus1 for the cache
Log signed & replaced. TFTC & smiley face

Easy and quick find and luckily not many muggles about. However would you believe it that someone looked at me and came out of a shop just as I put it back. I hope that they had no idea what I was doing
Thought we would have a go at this one while it was quiet before the rush, geogranny retrieved cache. Moved away to sign and waited for muggles to leave before replacing it. This us certainly muggle mayhem but thankfully today's weather must if kept most away. Tricky one. TFTC
Visited nearby SPC Factory outlet to get the last of my sister's order and having a break from driving. Me and my geogal are on our way to pick up our camper, who decided to be hospitalised/repair and rest in Hamilton. Clever cache. We knew it was high. Briefly looked at one place. As my 5yo gal and i are slightly height challeged, we used our combination to test a few spots before being sucessful. She was so excited to be able to help and grab it. Left all my pens in the car so pulled out lip pencil/crayon and did a fire enyine red dot with an "M". TFTC
Feeling pretty well into long weekend mode, we had been off to the Begonia Festival Parade, and to check out the displays, including taking the Lego challenge to locate all the hidden creations after viewing the giant Lego Begonia. Muggle Mayhem has been a regular topic of conversation amongst this caching team, and the name has always rung true with too many people whenever we have been in the area. We made the attempt once before as a scouting mission, but aborted the search to avoid having the cache muggled. Today was better luck, and after a quick scout, retrieved the cache and were able to sign the log. A look around showed no muggles still and we were able to stash the cache back in place.
Challenge completed, thanks for the cache Shamus.

I have passed this spot many times but had not stopped to check the geo list before. A relatively quiet public holiday seemed like the perfect time. Was a little challenging for us three shorties (with saharah99), but having identified the most likely spot we got an athletic individual to do a quick chin up. Sure enough GZ. thanks for this cache, a few giggles involved in the retrieving.

Early this morning I headed to Ballarat with Stemicmitsar for the purpose of finding some challenge caches we had both qualified for as well as a desirable D/T rating and some sundry caches.
Fortuitously, this cache was located outside a number of take-away food shops. Unfortunately, even at this early hour, there were many people entering and leaving those shops and one elderly muggle was sitting in his car right next to GZ. We were able to step back from the kerb under the guise of looking to see what types of food were on offer and from our respective vantage points being over six feet above the ground, believed we spotted the cache. It was then a matter of waiting out the muggle. He was in no hurry to leave to so we bought some food, sat and ate it and then Steve went in and produced a masterful display of stealth by retrieving the cache unobserved.
Thank-you to Shamus1 for placing this geocache

Today biggles1024 and I headed out to Ballarat for a day of caching with a number of caches with significant value on the hit list.
We were going by this one so we stopped to have a look, we headed towards GZ and looked at the likely hide from a distance and we were sure we could see the cache, the only problem was that there was a gentleman sitting in his car right next to GZ and he was in no hurry to leave. As we had not had lunch yet, we decided to get something to eat so by doing this we were able to wait out the muggle and he eventually left, I then headed over and was able to retrieve the cache and sign the log, we then finished our very late lunch and headed off to the next one.
Thanks to Shamus1 for placing this cache.

Out as a team today as it is my birthday and hope to secure our 4,000th cache. By far the best time to do this one. 4.00pm on a Sunday afternnon as there is no one about/ Easy then, but not for the short people.
Thanks for the cache Shamus1

Hi there Shamus1. We found your cache "Muggle Mayhem" at 11:21:00 AM today,. This cache makes our find count 10139.
[Blue]
We are attempting to log at least one cache every day, so we can add to our streak of "Most Consecutive Days Cached", which we started on New Years Day 2014. Our route today took us to, and past, some really scenic locations.
Today's cache run was a "Next closest" surprise trip. We picked a start point at random and wandered wherever the GPS took us.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: Container is in good shape. We replaced the log sheet.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Needs a new logbook forsure though haha and bit of water damage I'm guessing by faded ink. Good hide though

There were a few muggles around but none paid us any attention as they went about their business. The GPSr bounced around a little but settled quickly enough to make a reasonably fast find. TNLN SL Thanks for the Hide!!!
After being offered a weekend caching to and from Ballarat with Tounga and Moneydork, how could I refuse[?]
Sushilord joined us too and for 3 days we laughed and cached and laughed and cached until we could cache no more. [|)]
As for the topics of conversation, apparently mirth, maniacal murder and mayhem were the common themes for the weekend along with a few other topics
My total for a great weekend was 1 event attended in Ballarat , 113 cache finds 7 DNFs and a FTF as I wound my way home, alone, in the early morning
Actually there was mayhem when we found this cache but it wasn't the muggles causing it...it was us

Found on the weekend attack on Mexican caches by a couple of Kiwis and a couple of Aussies, surprisingly there were no slayings although we talked a lot about maniacal murders along the way.
It was quiet here being a Sunday evening. with our group you could have called this cache 'cacher mayhem'. We stared down a number of muggles while doing the cacher things.
Thanks for the cache Shamus1.

Found on a fantastic weekend away with Moneydork (Hero Husband), Locus Cache and Sushilord. It was not a quiet trip but oh so worth it! Lots of caching, lots of laughter and finally some sleep thrown in when we just couldn't carry on!
Thanks for your cache and helping make our weekend so great.

It certainly was a case of muggle mayhem. The cache was easily spotted, but just needed a moment for the all clear. With the container grabbed, it was taken further afield to sign the log and then deposited safely back into position. Thanks for the cache.
Nice easy find when at the shops this afternoon. I'd had a quick look previously but to no avail. This time was simple. No idea how I missed it the first time! Thanks for the hide
Attempted this one a few times but always had far too many people around. Sunday afternoon slum and quickly in hands. Log is pretty much full and a bit worse for wear - needs replacing. SL TFTC
Chunk and I are having great fun in developing our acting skills for high-muggle caches. Our imaginary friend gets a lot of phone calls these days, while we hang around places, anxiously waiting for her to pick us up. Had lots of fun - thanks Shamus.
Sorry for the late log.

Nice place to take a break today: found a cache, had some lunch, used the amenities. Thanks for guiding us here.
Night out with the family we noticed a cache nearby. With the geo family in toe set off and found it. Tricky. Tftc
Had to go to a shop nearby here at about 5:30. Saw there was a cache nearby and decided to grab it. Took a guess at where the cache was and bingo! TFTC.

Those of short stature would have difficulty seeing this.
I resorted to the hint and searched again in the first place that I sought and voila.
Signed and returned with few muggles about.

Last find in a busy afternoon out. So was able to come by late-ish to collect some shopping and had an ideal opportunity without high muggle volume. GPS did some crazy dancing around the GZ which kept me circling in. When it came to its senses, I could swoop in, grab it, log it and return it, in no time at all! TFTH Shamus1. Good to get a few of yours today!
Oh, now I know what was meant by "mint" in the description [:o)]... Had fun finding this in a very busy shopping centre where I was enjoying some jolly good fish for lunch. It's amazing how many services and financial premises are available in this relatively small shopping centre... excellent, really. Tricky find, but there it was, and I signed the log and wandered off again to continue a busy day. TFTC, well done!
Really easy. Small kids may need a boost. Even at 7pm it is still a very high muggle area!TFTC!
Found at 2105 in the company of MuggleL. Being in Ballarat for a funeral wasn't the most uplifting reason to be in the area, so after a family dinner we detoured slightly to change the mood a little. It took longer than expected to make the find, but I eventually laid hands on the container. Signed the log (TNLN) then put everything back as we found it and moved on. Thanks for the cache Shamus1.
first find on our last day of Ballarat before heading home to Melbourne. We packed our bags into the car, checked out and made our way to search for a few caches on our "to find list" before heading back.
The day started off to be a bit drizzly. We had our raincoats, so we were prepared.

Merci, c'est dimanche cool car il n'y a pas beaucoup de moldus.

1/6 caches found alongside my man matthewhimself today. Pretty cool hide Shamus1, tape was coming off a little so might need some maintenance there. TFTC man.
First cache, found with Lil $mitty, a challenging but enjoyable introduction to the adventure of geocaching.
Just had to time this one with some midday foot traffic. Found a bench further along where we could sign the log and then waited for a good gap in the traffic for replacement. TFTC
For the first time today we were thankful for the poring rain and even though we were soaked to the bone we could find the cache without many muggles around.
Thanks for the cache Shamus,

Another one where a lot of stealth was needed this would be a good one for doing at night but we were lucky it was a Saturday afternoon and not too much muggle activity so soon had cache in hand and replaced without too much trouble along with Misschief18.

An aptly named cache. Not too many muggles around this afternoon. Was easier to retrieve than replace. Found with The 2 Wanderers. TFTC
Found today whilst on a short visit to Ballarat. I managed to park right next to the cache and retrieve it with no problem. Back to the car to sign the log but when I went to return it, I think every muggle in Ballarat decided to visit this shopping centre. A bit of mobile phoning geo style and the cache was eventually replaced.
Thanks for the cache Shamus1

Have been waiting to get this for a while. Finally had cache in hand, and log signed. Thanks for the cache.
Found by Mary & David at 1515. We picked a good time to visit on such a cold afternoon, with most of the shops closed and few muggles about. Managed the find with only a little stealth required. Our thanks to Shamus1.
took a while due to muggles so gps phone came in handy as a reason to be standing around
