Had a quick look and then some local muggles turned up so left it. Love the wildlife. They thought they were going to get a feed from me.
Found by The Empire + H with Masteroh
As we pulled up, ducks came flocking! Luckily we had some leftover chips/popcorn etc for them to have a little snack. Thanks for the cache DaFiChNi Team.

A nice easy quick find while chasing rabbits around the lake. A nice walk to start the day with a good cache.
Fantastic cache! We went for a walk round the lake and I loved chasing the rabbits around I was being stealth
A lovely walk around the lake this morning with Famished Fox enjoying chasing the rabbits!! TFTC
Nice and quick find in an absolutely beautiful spot. Be ready for the ducks and geese to swarm when they see your car. The walk around the lake is quick and lovely. TFTC
out and about caching in the Launceston area to get out of the maze, a sunny day as opposed to Hobart. TFTC TNLN log dry.
Thanks for the cache DaFiChNi Team.
Visiting the north of the state for the weekend with RLD4963 and the two GeoGSP's.
Loved exploring the Grindelwald area. There were lots ducks and geese as we approached GZ - found the cache out in the open, so after signing the log, returned it as per coords and title. A lovely outlook from here.

Thanks for the parking co ords, nearly walked across from the other side which is still pretty wet and sloshy underfoot . Fed the ducks the last of my pringles before making a quick find in the only logical spot. Thanks for the cache tnln replaced as found sl
I walked here from the conference venue that is in this locality as I had time to fill before meeting with colleagues. My first search was very limited as I had only a few minutes st GZ before it was time to retrace my steps to avoid being late. I could not leave this one as a blue frown and returned after my meeting (by geo-vehicle this time as I figured I had earned the ride having walked here for the first visit). A thorough inspection of the structure mentioned in the hint made it clear that there was only one place a "small" hide could be. The log paper left by the last finder is also too wet to sign. I added the stub from a receipt with my signature on it as that was the only paper I had with me. I will post a "Needs Maintenance".
Found this on a weekend away with family. My geo girl helped find this one. The log bog couldn’t be signed as the paper was a bit damp. TFTC.
Nice spot for a cache. Great view and lovely ducks. Took a swap and left a swap. Beauty.
Tftc! Would recommend replacing the log as it’s water damaged. Kids enjoyed a trade - lovely little spot. We lived in Grindelwald for 10 years before relocating, so it was nice to visit the lake again. The ducks were very hungry!
Thank you for highlighting this beautiful location. I had the most perfect sunny afternoon to take a stroll around the full perimeter here.
A bit wet today and had to dodge much duck poo, but found the cache. Cheers
Heading home to the north west after two hot and steamy days and nights in Launnie for Mrs rhubarbroad's birthday (read into that what you will). So plotted a forwards advance towards the Frankford Hwy, and accumulated 15 as far as Thirlstane. Found cleverly disguised not to attract undue attention, even though its quite visible. Mind you its probably only inquisitive kids and geocachers who would be looking where we were looking ! Thanks DaFiChNi Team.
Coming back from Exeter markets we were drawn here looking for a playground for our mini Geo hunter. Thankyou for sharing this local area with us that, better than we anticipated!
The cache was extremely water logged so much so that our stamp wouldn’t work on the damp paper. It looked as though the water had risen and moved the cache container itself.

Really, really soggy now. I would have replaced paper but didn't have any on me. Nice spot to sit and relax for 5.
Found with Geo Maggie. A bit surprised how easy this one was. But even more surprised that I almost overlooked it.
Found with Angus 88.Thank you for the cache from GeoMaggie and her sidekick Bonnie. And in circles I would’ve never come in here except for looking for acache very much
Such a pretty spot - had no idea it was even here. Paper quite damp and becoming difficult to write on.
Enjoying wandering around Tassie from SA. Lovely spot although the ducks and geese seem to think we should feed them. Lol tftc
Hello, We found your cache on day #10 of our Lap year trip.
Selling up our hobby farm in South Gippsland and putting everything in storage we are now living on the road full time in our caravan and ‘doing a lap’.
Sorry for the generic log, time, data and reception are all factors in the decision to use a copy and paste log, we will always endeavour to leave a photo or two with each log and always leave a favourite point and unique comment(S) where applicable for the truly outstanding caches.
Earth, Virtual, letterbox handmade and Gadget caches are always at the top of the list for us to find.
Thank you for being one of the CO’s who supplied us with a cache to find today.

A nice easy find in this delightful area.
Thanks DaFiChNi Team for letting me in on this secret little spot by placing this cache which was found clean and dry and in good condition. [^]
No muggles around, but the geese were on to me.

The goose and ducks seem to know where the food usually comes from. We were mobbed as we arrived. They left us alone enough for me to quickly find the cache.
I found this a while a good but forgot to log and only remember as we where back here today. TYFTC
#9931 - 2:28:00 PM; Making our way from Hawley Beach to Launceston and stopped along the way for some caches. This one was located and all was in good order, although I did start the hunt at the wrong end TFTC DaFiChNi Team
20/12/19 visiting from Qld and heading out for a day trip today. Stopped at Grindelwald and couldn’t resist the caches here. Quick find along with a Tas Rock which we’ll place further along our drive. TFTC
Mr Youban fed the waterfowl and ducks while I retrieved the cache and signed the log. Kutgw
