In September/October 2013 we spent nearly 3 weeks in lovely Tassie. We stayed at Grindelwald for 3 night before driving to get the ferry home. We are late catching up with logging finds. (Mrs had some health issues that took over) We took a lovely walk to get to the cache. Sad to see this one archived. Left a smiley. Cheers 
Found the ideal spot but no sign of it... signs of recent branch falling and subsequent clearing may have contributed to the dnf....
Gps was on the money but no cache to be found... lots of new branches around trees..
18 September 2016 03:51:13 Lucky for me the view from the next location was even better. Still no one about but felt funny crossing a fence into what I guess is private property. A very interesting and enjoyable area to drive around and see such a wonderful array of houses.

Forgot to log this two weeks ago! Found this one after searching very thoroughly in the wrong place! When I was removing it the little frog in one of the pictures below hopped away! Another beautiful spot I had not been to. Thanks!

We've now only got four weeks left of our six month stay (til the end of March '16) from the Kurrajong area, (Blue Mountains) NW of Sydney, to tour in the caravan and also visit our kids and grandkids in the Huon Valley On four previous visits before this visit, we were muggles, so we're having fun finding the caches we didn't even know were here!

This cache was a nice quick find on a showery Boxing Day.

The second one today in this delightful area, however it is sad to see how much the trees are suffering in this extended dry season. On approaching GZ it was obvious that a huge branch had recently fallen, and I wondered if it had in fact covered the cache, fortunately this was not so. We had the added bonus of seeing a pademelon hopping across the path in front of us.
After our first night on holiday in Taz, it was good to find a cache or 2 to mark where we had stayed. We found this one with Bazinga01 and Posh06.

After staying at the Resort near here we were headed to Hobart today but first a stop to get some caches. This was a great hiding spot, the cache will be here for a while. Found with Bazinga01 and Posho6.
What a picturesque place to visit....so beautiful and peaceful on a sunny day. So glad you placed a geocache here and close to our accommodation. Oh how the other half live. Must away as being muggled by ducks.

Another picturesque spot that takes a cache (well, two in fact) to get us to detour. Shame on us! So peaceful today with the ducks proudly showing off their chicks. Thanks DaFiChNi's.

This was one of the local caches that we had left to find with our god-sons (4 & 6) when they come for a sleep-over. We didn't plan on finding it today but when they specifically asked to go 'treasure hunting' with us we thought we'd better do this one as a walk from home before morning tea. A nice day for a stroll and an easy find in a quiet location. Well, it was quiet, until the boys spotted the cache and starting shouting out the fact to us in their excitement! We signed the logged while they chose their swaps and replaced the cache in its spot. TFTC
Tftc was out in the open so covered it up.

Took mum's dog for a walk and introduced my sister to the world of Geocaching. Nice find.
Great placement! Walking around the lake with the family and the kids were keen to swap golf tees for a little rhino and an 'old fashioned money' two cent piece! TFTC
We were in the area for another one and this wasn't too far away so we set off for a walk. It didn't take too long to find.

After a bit of mini-golfing i just had to go geocaching! A miserable day didn't stop us from putting a smiley on this. When I put the cache back I accidentally touched a green tree frog! TFTC!
Found this cache whilst holidaying at grindlewald with the kids. Such a fun place for a family holiday. Took tb we will move it along the coast a bit further. TFTC HAGD
