Couldn't find this one. Part of the bush and one of the seats were burned. I might have looked at the wrong place.

We had a very thorough search at GZ and the alternate coords too. If it was in a post hole or in a tree, then it is missing.
With quite a few DNFs it would be prudent for the CO to do a cache check.
Sorry!

Down south at the Central Coast of NSW for a large family holiday with IolantheK.
This is one of about 20 or so caches we did in the area.
Look all over, even used some alternate co-ords found within the cache logs but came up with nothing

T-Tech and I are holidaying at The Entrance for a week over Christmas with our extended family, and today we have the whole day to go geocaching! Wahoo!
We searched for ages here, even moving over to Brother Colin's co-ords but didn't get the find.
We searched for ages here, even moving over to Brother Colin's co-ords but didn't get the find.
Missedya - Looked and looked even with new co-ords but still couldn't locate it.
I came here with some geokids, but even with the alternative coords we were unable to make the find. Thanks anyway
9.00am. Have looked for this some time back so this time after reading some logs I widened the search area and found it in less than five minutes at 19 metres. But where have all the ants gone? i never saw one!
Thank you. David.
Thank you. David.
#4283 (8 of 23 today)
The Geowife is spending the weekend at a friend's place on the Central Coast, and they'll be doing various crafty things. I gallantly offered to drive her up there early in the morning (her friend will be driving down on Sunday anyway so she can get a lift home).
So, what to do with the rest of my day?
Well, given the fact I've cleared out most of the caches closer to home (ie only the new or can't find / solve are left) any day I can cache well away from my normal haunts means I can go for numbers. Decided to start where I was, work my way to The Entrance and then back down the coast.
Was hoping to make my 4300 milestone but just fell short - two longish DNFs saw to that. But I'll take 23 finds gladly. Even grabbed a puzzle I solved on the fly.
Very enjoyable day - except the first DNF. Must come back up this way again soon.
But so many logs to do...
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
The coordinates are way out on this one, so after working out where it wasn't I checked the hint and the logs and relocated for a quick find - nicely hidden, actually, good camo.
Ants poured out as I made the grab, and took back to a bench to complete signing duties... The wind is really starting to pick up.
Back for the replace, and walked to my next target.

Found it! Co-it's were a bit off and it was covered in ants. It could use a new log too but a great find ! Tftc
Had a frustrating search here until we looked up the cache again and got some updated coordinates from one of the logs. Thanks.
Beautiful spot to sit nice and quiet. Didn't sign the log as i felt the care takers out numbered me and might carry me off.
Took a pick of cache as proof might come back with an army in a can to conquer the care takers

Nice quick & easy find while making the most of a brand new GC area to explore well away from home on Christmas getaway to the beach. Coords were a little all over the place at first. Trying to find 10 today in the area in Christmas Eve - only 1 more to go! TFTC
Definitely need to adjust the coordinates for this one! Looking further outside GZ was the only way we found this. Tftc!
This cache took longer to locate than it should as the coords were out by about 15 m from our GPS and phone. We had not seen the alternative coords in Brother Colin's log. It took Pesky! wandering further afield to locate the cache.
Thanks for the hide DOC-WHO.

Day 5 The Entrance.
Today we had to pick up family arriving on the terrain at Tuggerah.Having just arrived from NZ they wanted to stop to find a cache.
We chose this one as we had not been able to find it on a previous day, but after reading Brother Colin's Log we now had new co-ords to search.
Thanks for placing this cache DOC-WHO

Found it with the help of our guest cachers from Narrabri. The hint had us out in the trees for a while. TFTC
Did not find, even from using the alternate coordinates posted by other cachers. Area had a lot of muggles at the time so will return.
Out and about for another day of caching.
This time I have ventured south.
This one took a bit of a search before finding alternate co-ords in another log.
Here are the co-ords that worked for me. [^]
S 33 21.855, E 151 27.946

Quick cache while out and about today. Good hide. Signed log and stuck yoga cat sticker on lid.
Easy find, nice info on the sign. Enjoyed sitting and taking in the surrounds. tftc
Perhaps better named Life in the Ant Nest. Like others before us our device had us out in the mud. Goes ensue told us to look elsewhere and The Garbageman's coordinates from 8/8/15 were spot on. Thousands of ants had taken up residence with the container so we moved it one in from the end. Nice place to sit and contemplate. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
Not too sure if container is still here? have looked everywhere and followed clues.. Still nothing
got to GZ when my gps sends me out to the waters edge i knew it was gonna be out a bit so i broadened my search and found it all the same TFTC
TFTC looked and looked but couldn't find it, searched previous logs and entered new coordinates from the garbage man. Easy find when in the right location
we had to come back to this one because some people were sitting on the benches the day before. lots of searching going on here we managed not to get muddy little roo and I resorted to reading past logs and managed to find it a bit off from GZ as stated. on the plus side the ants have moved on TFTC nice lake views here
Enjoyed day with cool...
Lovely view lake, seat for a while and watch birds on flow...
arrival coords, long searched, unable to find.. Then back to seat and read previous logs..
Notice on wrong coords, to found one approx 20m from GZ...
Easy to see hide place, OMG full millions ants around cache.. YUK..
sign the log...
Thanks

Found this one 20m from GZ? And still full of ants. Using some tools onsite, and my shoes I wasn't going to give up and not log it because of a few ants! Thanks DOC-WHO, and cheers from Browngang
Muggle reading so couldn't expand our search. Caching with RideTheGeoWalrus
The third cache of the day for us and the first DNF. We knew we were in the right area from the description and searched for about 15-20 minutes but to no avail. Might be back to conquer this one another day.
Geodog and I kept our distance from the ants but were able to get the cleaned off log to sign.
I interpreted the clue a little more broadly and took the search a little further afield. Gave the "found it" call but discovered the ants. While trying to clean the little buggers out of the hidey hole, I next discovered a big spider! Cleaned him out too (sorry buddy!) and rehid the container.
Coming in from Mud Lake Views, took a seat to contemplate the situation but couldn't locate the cache. It took aubeasty to take a different tack for our team to find it. But as KRS noted, it was crawling with ants!

26/09/15. 8:46 AM. Cache #3039. Streak day #461.
7th of 9 finds this morning - Berkeley Vale, Tumbi Umbi & Killarney Vale.
Walking east from "Muddy Lake Views"; I got to GZ and spent far too long looking in all the wrong places, before finally noticing that thegarbageman had provided some alternative coords, and these looked promising.
I got to this new area and made a very quick find, but one issue: the cache was teeming with ants, inside and out. I managed to get the log onto the ground and finally shook the ants off it so I could sign it. After rehiding, I continued west to "Grassy Views". TFTC.

According to my GPS the coords are actually S33 21.855, E151 27.946
It's nowhere near the presently listed site. A good 15 to 20m away. Having said that, it was still a very quick find as I spotted it from at least 10m away TNLN TFTC

Found 20m to the east, the co-ords were very deceiving, but after a good hard look again, Team CCDSS came through with the find.

Again spent a long time here, until i was over it and decided to walk 20m east and made the find - the co ords should really be updated to match the actual location. TFTC
This area was flooded just to a lot of rain in the area over the last few days.
we had searched for this cache before with no luck we searched for it again today with much more luck and we found it tftc tee hee.
found this cache with mighty minions and unicorn princess.thanks for the cache DOC-WHO(:
Taking the kids out to play and use up some energy and get my find count up to 699 for the event at Lane cove tomorrow we stopped here for the cache. After looking with no luck and then reading some past logs we expanded the search area.Mr Minion went one way and I went the other. While the kids just chased after each other.Mr Minion came up with the goods. There are stacks of ants all over the cache area .We got them of and signed the log before putting it back the same way. Thanks for the cache DOC-WHO tnln sl
Yes, coords are out quite a bit, but we made a quick find from a previous wording in a recent finds log Good hide. TFTC
while cycling with friends in this beautiful country,I manage to do some geocaching, tftc
What do you do when Ausgrid turns off the power at home to "carry out essential upgrade or maintenance work on the local electricity network". You go caching, of course!! So after placing a new hide at Erina and checking on one other, I headed up to Killarney Vale to search for a few along the lake foreshore that I hadn't got to yet.
My GPS device indicated that this one was living in the mud, but geo-sense suggested otherwise ... and there were enough clues in the cache description for me to go with my gut. As suggested, I enjoyed a seat while I considered the options ... the only problem was that until I saw a handy photo, I was just looking for places where a pipette might be. Once I expanded my size thinking, though, I saw a very likely hidey hole and once I fought off the guardian bull ants, the cache was mine.
Nice hide, Doc (except for the bull=type ants that have invaded the space) and thanks for bringing me to an area I hadn't visited previously.

Nice hide but geo coordinates are off by 20m or so we think. Clue helped. Thanks.
Going for a walk with wife and son, who seemed concerned that there was a bunch of grannies looking on from the nearby residence. But no worries, nice spot for a cache and no worries about being seen. My iPhone was pointing me away from where the actual cache was, however with some geosense and with the hint if needed this cache should be easy to find. TNLNSL. I didn't have any worries with ants.
Thanks for the cache Doc!

Yay. Found it this time. Though it was not where I found it the last time I searched. Anyway, its a smiley now. TFTC Doc. 773 Total Day 5. ** Sugar ants are nesting in the hide**
When we first got here there were two other cyclists on the forward seat so we waited until they left but another guy jumped on the seat because we were some munchies. He did not move so we headed off to do other caches along the path. Later we came back, yeah no one around so we hunted and hunted, flat area, chain holes in post, trees, sign, seat but no find. But it is a nice place for a seating.
My GPS doesn't match DOC-WHO's because I reckon his co-ords are out by about 18m, but that doesn't matter because there are just so many places that the cache can be, and if you look long enough and wide enough, it can be found.
And when you do find it, you get a pleasant surprise by its size, and then you wonder how was it that it took so long to find it as it stands out like the proverbial dogs!!!!! TNLNSL TFTC

Sat on the seat and looked out across the lake. A strong breeze was in our face but was an enjoyable stop. Good clue to sit and contemplate with.

I found it on the ground opened up so I put everything back in and hid it where I thought it would be
Third for the day, found cache on the ground. Signed the log and hid where I thought it should be. TFTC
Lying out in the open so will need resiting as I'm not sure I put it back where it belongs. Seemed to fit with clue but approx 15m from iPhone GPS GZ, also more obvious than I would have thought so could DocWho check. No pencil so didn't mark log log.
Found after awhile again, the gps was a good 20 m off, hint helped in the end.
