Well the weekend was upon us and the planned Geomission with specimenX and FurfacesLL in Albury/Wodonga was here
We had been planning this weekend for sometime now and had been busy solving puzzles in preparation for the weekend. We spent the weekend doing the HCRT trail, some of the HSS series and some surrounding areas.
Officially day 1 of the attack on Albury/Wodonga area. Today we had plans to attach the HCRT Trail via pushbike and collect some random ones along the way also.
This was the first cab off the rank after a spot of brekkie nearby. We pulled into the parking lot and parked as close as we thought we could. Checked a few locations however had to walk away empty handed, especially after seeing the DNF logs on the listing. Maybe next time.
Thanks anyways The lost wanderers

Looks like this one is gone - previous finder hccatcher11415 was with me and can confirm it's not there. Looks like the flora has been trimmed and may have exposed it. Could the owner please check? thanks

2nd find for the night....much easier to look for at night.....no muggles that way
Faelynn was on a roll tonight. She found both of our searched for caches quite quickly. Tftc.
Well that was the quickest find of the day. On my way back to pick squiggle30 up from school before I say my good byes and head back to canberra. Left a pathtag.

Still on the way 'home', I decided to drop by for a look for this "1/1" hide. At some times of the day, it sure would be a 1/1 but maybe on a Sunday afternoon, this could well be way harder. At least there was no-one around this evening and I was able to park right next to GZ for the "1/1" find at 17:55.
TNLNSL, although our night cache geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks The lost wanderers.
PS: There was no sign of the German Geocoin trackable in the cache.

Good stop and a quick pick up with friend late afternoon. Dropped off TB so hopefully it will be moved on soon. TFTC [^]
Out for a day of daddy and daughter caching, so this was a perfect excuse to pick up this one and pop into the nearby man store. Little miss spotted this one quickly. Thanks for the cache!
We had set up camp at Richos cache on the banks of the Murray River our fellow campers soon joined us. We had intended to try a series of caches but as the rain came down we changed plans and drove into Wondongs to visit the geocachers best friend, Bunnings! Imagine our delight she we found a geocache in the carpark.

The designated driver today grabbing some caches along the way with J+J.au. and Wilbert67. Nice excuse to stretch the legs. Thanks.
The three of us are on a 4 day caching trip down this way, perfect weather, great company, quick find. TFTC
Quick find by our big geokid while geodad was grabbing lunch at KFC after a great morning on the HCRT. Log book is partially damp. Tftc
#620 - Up in Albury/Wodonga for a day of shopping, couldn't leave without doing a few caches. Nice quick find late in the afternoon with little muggle activity at the Big kid toy store. Backed into gz for extra visual protection. TFTC lost wanderers.
Excellent work on the location best done late at night or very early morning for less muggles. TFTC
#1437 - 20:45; Decided on a late evening run to try and lift the Victorian finds as this was the last opportunity to do so for this trip. Made my way to a rather vacant GZ, where after walking a couple of small circles, found the cache and soon had log signing duties completed. TFTC The lost wanderers

Day four of our post Christmas / pre New Year trip... taking our new tent trailer for a test run, weather was very hot and humid. Our travels are taking us up to Ettamogah and across to Old Tallangatta before returning home.
Visiting many towns along the way, taking the Geo wife to places she has never been before, and giving our Geo Pug time to sniff out new territories
Did not expect to be seeing constant temps in the high 30's to low 40's... Geo wife got to see her first live black snake on the road in Australia, and I almost stood on a 5 foot brown snake at one cache on the HCRT, and a red back spider at another.
Stayed at some nice FREE camp sites along the way and a couple of caravan parks as well, learned a lot of things along the way, history and more, but in all a great adventure and we were able to clock up our 1000th find along the way ..
Glad we did this one early on a sunday... no muggles to worry about
thanks to the CO for this cache

So this find was not on our list but when we had a chewing gum incident that required scissors we decided to pull into a nearby store that could solve the problem and since GZ was so close we thought why not. This hide is in a very high muggle zone but since we were passing through fairly late we were in luck and able to make the find undisturbed TFTC The lost wanderers
3015 Found by baby&Mrs gopher at 1400. Not too busy here today so an easy find. SL Tnx The lost wanderers.

My humble apologies for the late log...
Travelling from Coffs Harbour to Melbourne with a few night stops along the way... After living away from home for 6 moths, I have managed to find all my caching associated paperwork / notes & photo's so I can (finally) log all my finds...
My sincerest thanks to all the cache owners for their hides & all the effort gone into them & I'm sorry for the generic log... I have seen many beautiful area's that I would not of seen or experience if not for your hides...

Very few people were around this morning so we were able to make a quick find without being noticed. Mry'stassie particularly enjoys browsing in this types of shop - no time for this today. Thanks for this cache The Lost Wanderers.
Yay for us!!! No. 100 cacher to visit this cache! Unlike the hiders, both mr & mrs Harrowang enjoy a wander around these stores to add to our Big Kid Toys. Nice quick find amongst the lunch time crowd. SL at 12.35pm then off to enjoy some vittels. TFTC The lost wanderers #1863
A quick, easy find in a largely deserted part of the carpark. Mr Ozjeeper likes his collection of Big Kids Toys too!

Finally found this one, had tried a couple of times at night but actually felt more exposed than when I did it today in daylight, more people around so I didn't stick out so much. Picked up TB and dropped one off. TFTC
Drove right up to the cache but had to wait a few minutes as there was a car parked opposite with a lady playing on her phone for some time. Just as we were about to give up and come back she finally left!! nice easy find. TFTC The lost wanderers
Hubby must visit this shop in every town that we visit.
This was a nice quick find. Left a TB here.

A quick and muggle free find today, everyone else was watching the footy. Thanks for the cache.
Spot on coords led to fast find, which is good with so much traffic around! Tftc
Our 4th find for the month, a quick easy find on the way to the best shop in the area.
Many thanks for the hide.................TNLNSL.

Quickest find we've ever found. We had a good chuckle about that. TFTC. Took soldier, left frog.
Out for dinner tonight and an opportunity to grab this cache that has been on our list for a while. The geokids made a quick find with no muggles about. Thanks lost wanderers for the cache.
My son found this one, he thought it was great to have a detour to this place TFTC
Been going to do this for a long time but each time we come here it is muggle central. Out doing a bit of night caching, so we thought we would gab this on the way past. We had the whole car park to ourselves
I was thinking of another cache near here that I had a DNF on a while back but this was not it. A very easy find in the company of pprass today.
Found at 3:00 PM GAFF5 in the company of Alansee. On our way back from a tough trip to Yack, we stopped by for an easy pick-up. Needed to get our confidence back [B)]
There must be dozens of caches in these establishments now.
Thanks The lost wanderers.

This was to be the larst cache for a round trip of over 1600 km some 200 + caches and a chance to catch up with a great caching partner Code 1. Found this one easy almost to easy. With the logging done we spent some time leaning on the rails of the trolley return. A few phones calls had me on the next boat home. Which leaves in a few hours. So now a run down to the city with only time for a shower and fuel on route.
