Logs

27-Jul-14
Spot compromised and the eclipse is long over.

21-Jul-14
As noted in my Found log,I think this cache has been muggle-trashed and needs to be checked out and replaced or archived as the CO wishes. I have possession of the damp log to dry it out and return if needed.

21-Jul-14
I think this area has recently been subject to a muggle-fest recently. As I approached the GZ I found the log and the ziplock bag strewn on the grass and a good search did not turn up the likely container anywhere around. I have retained the log - to dry out and return to the CO or a replacement container if they wish.

There were also tell-tale signs of the nearby cache Roly Poly having been muggled too, but more of that separately.

Quick find in a nice spot. No pen on me so I could not sign, but have a photo if the CO needs proof. Dropped off a GC recently picked up in Dubai. TFTC

TFTC. I am on a roll attempting to cache for 100 days in a row. Over 80 now and still counting, time will tell.....
Up to this area for work and a bit of relaxation on the side.
Today I was lucky enough to spend the day with my friend's son. He was willing to do a few afternoon caches with me.
What a great way to end an afternoon of caching - wandering around these great mature exotic trees. Once the GPS settled down the cache was readily located.
Thanks SoBad for placing this cache.

After the rain stopped Mummy and Daddy wanted to go for a walk so I hopped in the front pack and slept through a geocaching mission with 5 found and 2 dnf. Daddy lay on the grass with me whilst mummy went looking. Daddy said mummy found it much faster than he did! Tftc

31-Mar-13
GPS kept sending me to the wrong spots and changing its mind but got there reasonably fast. Good fun Tftc

After two DNFs I was desperate to sign this one off. Surely they would take my badge if I failed on three in a row. Big Grin
Thankfully vampash spotted the cache quickly so complete embarrassment was avoided. Time to head home for a cold beer. TFTC.

29-Nov-12
Nice One!!!!!!!!!Grandson and I are having a "Let's find some SoBad's day" A 10cm wide stream allowed for a shortcut to GZ. GPS bounced around a bit, but an attack from the flank brought success. Neat reserve. Much fun. Thanks

18-Nov-12
When we spotted this one we knew what the target would likely be but wondered at the hide!!! Arrived in the general area of GZ and wondered how we were going to go with this one. I was surprised once i got centered on GZ how quickly i spotted the cache!! After opening all was relieved to find a log Smile TFTC

Having watched the eclipse ( when I could) at work and guessing what we would be looking for we decided for one last dash before the rain came after a nice sunny morning at the Rainbow event so set of and counted down - Stretch0 had the gps so was in the lead I was extracting the tree from my hair as he found the cache !!! joined him for the signing and placing back of cache - just made it back to the car and the heavens opened so - so back home to MOT for lunch and coffee thanks for the cache Smile

13-Nov-12
Yep. I managed to eclipse this one. TFTC Big Grin

05-Nov-12
out to find a few caches for the day. and this was the first very well hidden....

05-Nov-12
This cache popped out while all the likely culprits were attending the NZ MEGA. I did smile at the timing Smile Popped up on the RADAR again today after attending to a cache at the nearby bowling club. I can't recall how many caches I've now found here. 3 or 4 [?] I would have loved to be able to say that this one eclipsed them all.

A brief visit to Nelson, try for some of the proliferation of new caches. Well started not well. Arrived at same time as a truck parking at nearby cache site.
So, wander over to this one.
No idea. This was first of 3 dnf before I gave up. Any other town, we would driven straight through.....not town cachers us.
Being 290m from our base, I am sure we will get to have another crack.

04-Nov-12
Decided to do a quick couple of caches on the way home from the event. Yeah right! Found this well hidden one but it wasn't quick. A quick drive by the nearby bowls one showed that it was a no goer today. TFTC #4217

Joint second to find on a short detour on our way to the coast for the night. I have never ventured over this side of the stream before so there's no better excuse to do so than hunting an elusive little container. GPS took a little while to settle but we got there in the end. A neat hide. TFTC.

21-Oct-12
When we realised there was another cache in town I was just about heading West with Holymu. We just couldn't help ourselves and be at least second finders on the day. Nice idea for a cache. GZ was no problem but vegetation put us out a bit at first. After allowing a bit of time for the electronics to settle it was all good. TFTC

Smile:-):-) FTF Smile:-):-)
Woke this morning and the time i realised the published caches was not mine i jumped in the car. This one took me way too long to find for some reason. I had GZ dead right.
Thanks for the cache
