Today we had to go into Launceston to get a few jobs sorted. Once that was done we headed back to Evandale via a couple of caches. Nice fast find here, random spot for a survey marker. TFTC
Find# 12050Nice quick find.We are on a two-week driving g tour of Tassie. We're based in the Sutherland Shire in Sydney NSW.TFTC DaFiChNi Team
Big thanks to DaFiChNi Team for placing this cache! Your effort brought an extra spark of excitement to our geocaching quest. This discovery was find number 1268 for us, marking another awesome moment in our adventures. Living and traveling full-time across Australia in our Toyota Coaster, we're always on the lookout for caches to uncover. Our 1st find for the day at -3 degrees. The nearby cow wandered over to say good morning to usTFTC
Thanks for the cache. Cache is in good order. Cleaned out a couple of swaps that had deteriorated. Left a nice little swap there and screwed lid on tight to prevent moisture.

In Tassie for the next few months. So many great places to visit and so many different caches to find.Stayed nearby overnight, so just grabbing a few around the area on some country roads. An easy enough find at GZ.Thanks DaFiChNi Team for placing the cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can find this cache.
Time to continue our meandering via caches towards Campbell Town. Came across this random marker on a country road, fortunately there was a cache nearby too! SL at 1.27pm #10,618 TFTC DaFiChNi Team
Not expecting a geocache here! Lots of long grass so be careful to wear appropriate shoes.
Wending my way from Devonport to Hobart, via a few back roads to get some out of the way caches. This was a very interesting spot on this country lane. Without the cache placement I would have wondered what the thick pole was without ever finding out the answer. Thanks for the info DaFiChNi Team.
Found while on our holiday and exploring the area, Thanks for giving us another reason to visit places we may not see otherwise TFTC and the fun
Pick a post, any post. Why is there so many survey posts down this little lane?
A nice country lane to a beautiful old house.

Found it on route to Hobart on a lovey winters day. Thanks for pointing out these markers. I’ve never noticed them.
Exploring Tasmania with hellyonfire cache by cache. The weather has kept us on our toes and our ears frozen, and we enjoyed every moment. Thanks to all the cache owners for the creative hides and/or great locations.

Well we are wending our way home after a three day sabatical at Scamander with family. Weather has been kind, even on top of South Sister where the views are fantastic and the bonus was a couple of caches. So now we are taking the scenic route back to the north west via Mathinna, Blessington and Deddington on a bit of a geo trail. This is our last of 17 before making a run for home. Damp but signable. Quick enough find, but extra damp proofing would not go amiss. Thanks to DaFiCjNi Team for the little tour down the back road.
A quick find whilst passing by this morning. TFTC

Finally we have made it to Tasmania from the mainland. Hoping to cache along the way over our 2 week holiday. Although a little grey it’s not cold so we will be able to see a few things and do some walks
So happy to be here and looking forward to what we will find.

So disappointed to drive all this way and Clarendon house is closed

Went for a drive tonight to get out of the city hustle after finishing work. Wasn't planning on finding a geocache but when this one popped up near by it seemed like the perfect spot to stop and enjoy the going down of the sun. I didn't no these markers existed in this way. Thanks for a quick find with some information to read.
out and about with Lil Rafa caching for the work days. easy find with clues. TFTC TNLN log dry. a new place I have not seen before.
Thanks for the cache DaFiChNi Team.
Found on day 2 of a short trip to the Launceston area with RLD4963. This is an interesting stretch of road, and I had not seen a series of these survey training markers before. Some very large hay bales in the paddock next door on a lovely sunny morning. Dropped a TB.

I thought the cache had gone missing. But there it was in the paddock, in a deep footprint. I could just reach it with my stick. Then I had to get the mud (or that's what I prefer to think it was) off. After that all was easy. I haven't mentioned the rain yet though.
cacing with Westies Tillie and Mac. and Angus 88 thanks for placing this cache for them.
Spending the day with grandmother driving around the country side and finding caches
Today we decided to head back to Hobart from Devonport after attending 2 events over the last few days. We decided to go via all our solved but unfound puzzle caches and any other caches that we may drive by, this was one of them.
Well, that was an interesting item! One of the cows nearby appeared to be eating plastic! As we were leaving the plastic had blown away! Incredible strong wind today.

Found about a week ago but it was in the paddock unreachable on private property. Made an extraction tool that was used to enable me to recover the cache. Signed the log and relocated it to where I think it perhaps should have been. Thank you for the cache.
What a lovely country road with beautiful pastures and plenty of scenery and lots of four legged muggles, this has to be the most popular I have been for a long time DaFiChNi Team. Replaced log and put it in a sealed bag to prevent the moisture and added a dinosaur to an empty cache. Taken old log as it was waterlogged and shredded if CO wants it just let me know . No TB in the cache unfortunately.
Tassie Trip Day 180 - Its time for a little drive today we traveled to Evendale and collected some caches along the way whilst admiring the lovely country side that is everywhere.
We were making our way toward the cache and after the distance started to increase the decision was made we are on the wrong road so a U trun was made and the road was found that explained the reason why this cache was named as it was and then the cache was found and log signed.
Thanks DaFiChNi Team for this palce of survey interest.

A wonderful way to spend the week in Tasmania with friends. Gorgeous day. Thoroughly enjoyed the find. TFTF.
Quick stop off. Log book has seen better days.
Another good day out in the 4wd for a morning adventure around deddington. I have ridden the road bike along the gravel road over to blessington but have never been way up the back on the gravel road. Some pretty specky spots.
I am currently writing detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to average one hundred words or more in each log. Given that I have found so many GC caches, I have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get my average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that I can strive to attain this challenge. After over 5000 plus caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 70 words. I am now entertaining the possibility that I might be able to achieve my task before the end of next year. It's surprising how much is has increase since doing this.

Very unusual location, but when we where leaving the cows were chasing the car. TFTC
A nice easy find as I was out looking for some AusGeocaches and almost stumbled on this one...I knew it should be near the others, so a bonus find for me! TFTC.
The coordinates were spot-on on the trig, but unfortunately I couldn't find a cache.
