Found with carkisser.Parked nearby soon had cache in hand.Left nothing, took nothing. TFTC.
The geo camo had slipped off the cache so I made an immediate find! Left the cache where I found it but covered it so its not so obvious, however it is definitely not hard to find! TFTC!!
I just love these old historical buildings so good to look at thanks for highlighting this particular location cheers KB
I was spending a few days in Geelong after attending the Capital City Geobash in Canberra and I decided to do a day trip to Castlemaine grabbing caches along the way. Thank you scody for placing and maintaining this cache..
I headed up to Dimboola for a CITO yesterday and did not realise it had been cancelled on Friday evening until I was checking what time it was planning on starting when in Stawell. It was cancelled due to the heat and the total fire ban as well.It was going to be hot picking up rubbish so it was for the best.I did some caching in Stawell and still headed up to Dimboola to do a small I Spy Series. On the way back I tried booking some accommodation for the night. After finding out that all of the accomodation is booked out between Stawell and Ballarat for night I stayed in Avoca for the night and now it is a different way home. After touring the Perydale historic area and finding a mine I got out of the bush only to find I was heading back in again but in a different direction. So Im back out of the bush again and hopefully for the last time as I have to get home eventually.Zig zagging my way around the backroads and finding random caches as I go.On the way out of Newstead I noticed this one off the road.A lovely old building which is still standing compared to a lot of these sites that all there is to show is a plaque.Cache was soon spotted. Thanks scody TFTC.
What a beautiful building. Thanks so much for bringing to my attention with this cache placement. This building cant stay empty. TFTC
Jinky and John were away at the Castlemaine Jazz Festival, and the bands may have had the morning off, but we didn't! Time to hit some caches. Left the first of the green series of Geonickels, SL TFTC.
Out for a local weekend drive with Mrs JTreeTrack2 in the trusty Geocamry again. No rain but were heading North, over the divide hoping for some warmer weather. So off to Maldon, Cairn Curran, Castlemaine and Newstead. Visit places seen before and new to us; always the joy of caching. I enjoy visiting old country school sites and this was no exception. All the border Eucalypts were looking magnificent. The remaining building looking inviting with smoke coming out the chimney as a group of RV campers had a to do there. Log and all contents wet and going mildewy/black
Thanks for the cache scody

As a member of TeamOZCAT logged in this cache, I am now logging as an individual predominantly to avoid any mistaken/unnecessary revisitation.
Under groundspeak guidelines, this logging is acceptable as I was indeed at Cache GZ in person in recent times. However, all cache owners have the right to delete logs as they see fit. Usually done to "Armchair loggers" or inappropriate texting.

TeamOZCAT logged finds when both Karen and Reg logged as individuals. This logging is exactly the same, only in reverse. Again, groundspeak acceptable.
For an unspecified period of time TeamOZCAT are no longer cache searching but remain active in our cache management and maintenance.
I sincerely thank all CO's and wish you all the best in your endeavours. Cheers Karen

TeamOZCAT left Albury Wodonga Thursday to cache Bendigo district, and some on route. The Smiley series was one, as well as some Adventure Lab and others. We thank all CO's for placing and maintaining their respective caches, and if there were issues, we would have messaged CO with details.
A beautiful building which I’d never have found but for Geocaching so thanks for placing this cache here scotly
Disabled to discourage cache hunting during these times when you really should be staying home. The cache will be re-enabled once the pressure to isolate eases.
Easy find at a quiet spot. Great to see the old school is still in use in the community - if not as a school anymore.
A quick find and a photo of another old building to add to my collection
Found while on.my way home. Tftc.. I needed this one for a challenge I am working on.... Found on the ground about 3 metres from the logical in the open, returned to where it should be
Loved the school and loved the clue which helped me zone in on the cache.
Thanks for the cache which highlighted this old school building.

Found with Explorer Nan while enjoying a caching day around Castlemaine in the beautiful spring weather, after an event in the Botanical Gardens this morning. We love visiting old school sites, and were pleased to see this one still in use by the community. After retrieving the cache we had thankfully moved away from GZ to our car, when out of nowhere a muggle in the school grounds drove his ute and trailer up to a future burn pile in the paddock to drop off another load of branches. We first thought this would be very tricky if he was going to hang around and play with the pile, but he disappeared as quickly as he had appeared and the coast was clear to replace the cache safely. TFTC scody and for bringing us here.
Stopped by on our way home after a morning event in Castlemaine and caching around around town with 2beez and petebev.
Crackers height helped with this one.
Thanks scody

Yes, I love caching, especially on such a glorious Spring day. It’s such a lovely little school building; so glad it’s still in use as a local hall. TFTC

Out for the day caching slowly toward Castlemaine. A quick detour and a quick find. Tftc
Day 1 of my latest road trip. 5 days around new regions in VIC and 1 day/night in SA.
Fantastic weather - blue skies and it finally warmed up around midday.
21 finds today including 1 EC and 1 Wherigo.
#16 - A quick find here under blue skies. Nice building. It looks like a homestead now? I admired it from the tree.
Thanks scody

Since moving from New Zealand in 2016 I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches.
So far I’ve knocked off 4 of the states. VIC, SA, NSW and A.C.T all multiple times.
No two areas are the same here and almost every place I go to is stunning. The beauty of caching is that it takes you to so many places you would never usually find.
Thank you to all the cachers out there for hiding and maintaining their caches. Especially to those who put so much effort into creating unique and fun hides.
I enjoy finding well maintained caches in fun and unique cache containers. No one likes finding a mint tin – but a find is a find after all.
Well she was an American girl
Raised on promises
She couldn't help thinkin' that there
Was a little more to life
Somewhere else
After all it was a great big world
With lots of places to run to
Yeah, an d if she had to die
Tryin' she had one little promise
She was gonna keep
Oh yeah, all right
Take it easy baby
Make it last all night
She was an American girl
It was kind of cold that night
She stood alone on her balcony
She could the cars roll by
Out on 441
Like waves crashin' in the beach
And for one desperate moment there
He crept back in her memory
God it's so painful
Something that's so close
And still so far out of reach
Oh yeah, all right
Take it easy baby
Make it last all night
She was an American girl

It was a cool morning to be out caching. Thanks for hiding this cache for me to find scobie. It will earn me my first souvenir in the Hidden Creature adventure. Muckleford State School is a delight and very well maintained. The cache and contents are in good condition. SL TN L a car wash token. Happy Geocaching!
