Fabulous views from here the momma sheep were very wary of us and whisked their lambs away. Quick find by the husband TFTC
Merging my accounts. Found this as Hoterini 18/5/13. Now tracking together with Ambers007 and merging the old finds.
TFTC. Cache and contents are in excellent shape. Lovely spot wish I could see something other than fog its also freezing
Checked on a maintenance run through the area, replaced log book and zip lock bag.
Well we are wending our way home after a three day sabatical at Scamander with family. Weather has been kind, even on top of South Sister where the views are fantastic and the bonus was a couple of caches. So now we are taking the scenic route back to the north west via Mathinna, Blessington and Deddington on a bit of a geo trail. This road could be an alternative Mt. Panorama style circuit for rally cars ! But don't tell the locals I suggested such a thing. Anyway one needs to stop to admire the view and of course log a handy little cache which we have now posted here. Thanks for another one Tassie Treckers.
After a DNF at the nearby cache it was good to have a quick, easy find here.
Lot of money tied up in cattle here and they all looked in prime condition.
Not quite the Mount Panorama we are used to but not a bad sight.
Thanks.

Thanks for the cache Tassie Trekkers.
Found this one whilst on a short trip to the Launceston area with RLD4963. This morning we were enjoying a leisurely drive along the roads around Deddington and Blessington. The view from GZ today was glorious - thanks for placing a cache here. All is good at GZ.

Great place to take a photo of the mountain, everything is looking very green and lush
Just on another family adventure for the day and thought we would tackle all the catches on the way up the Mt. TYFTC
Just realised that if we can find just a few more caches before the new year that 2019 will be our best caching year so far so out and about to find some more before the deadline. Lovely views from GZ. TFTC
Found it 10 December 2019, Geocaching app doesn't upload offline log anymore TFTC
A day out visiting the Ben Lomond area sightseeing and caching.
Quick find and sign and a great view of the mountains we had just been on top of.

Hi Tassie Trekkers, thanks for this cache, and the views, glad we made the small deviation to this one.
This was one of our drive-by/park'n'grab caches found today; by and with AlbyDangles. Thanks for all your caches in this area.
Was up this way today on a control point for Tassie's round of the Australian Rally Championship, with AlbyDangles and (his) AmazingDaughter.
A great day with great company, a nice fire, excellent food cooked on the nice fire, good mountain views, and some caching on the way home.

Hello Tassie Trekkers thank you for the cache.
We were on our way back from a car rally, so stopped off to find some of the caches that we didn't find on out last trip up here.
A quick find and lovely views.

The grass is a bit overgrown and it did take a bit of searching and researching to find this one but worth the effort and worth the view. TFTC.
Out caching with a couple of peanuts that let me search when toolman had found it already, who needs enemies when you have friends like this.
Thanks for the cache
Another TT cache we are picking up today, you sure have put in the hard work placing these caches.
Thanks again.

Well the toolman found this quickly but forgot to use his big mouth to call out 'found it' so poor stainless steel rat was navigating the barbed wire off to the left of GZ while 1toolman was signing the log sheet. I just stood there and did nothing except make the scenery all the more wonderful.
Thanks for another one Tassie Trekkers

#763, 2018-12-01 at 19:45, TFTC. Reluctant to stick my hand in there but eventually got the courage. On the way back firm doing 4 Abel's today and thus view is a great end to the day.
Today we decided to visit family in Launceston and turned off the Midland Highway just past Conara to gather a few caches in the Deddington/Blessington/White Hills area and this was one we found. A great view but no snow today. A very pleasant rural drive. It was mid morning and the frost and ice hadn't melted. Small ponds of water were still frozen solid! All good at GZ. TFTC
It was good to bag the cache, but I will have to come back for the mountain panorama. The clouds were low enough to obscure the mountains, and it was threatening rain. Once the GPSr settled, the co-ords were spot on. Thanks for this one too Tassie Trekkers.
Another fabulous day in beautiful Tasmania - lots of driving through forests; walking up and down dales and of course caching.
This was #3 of 8 finds. A quick find. Decided to attempt this cache next as there was a car parked down near the corner and we thought to do it on the way back down. Unfortunately we didn't make it as we hived off into the forest instead. No worries. The view here is magnificent.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for us to enjoy Tassie Trekkers. Signed log as SG as I often do in small caches to save space.

This is one of the best views you can have while driving through the country side, I love mountains. There is something about them, maybe it's that the have seen so much history, or that they seem so timeless and unchanging, or that they pose as a challenge, "like I'm here come and see what's at the top". I don't know what it is exactly but I do admire them.
Thanks for bringing me out to this location.

Hi there Tassie Trekkers.
We found your cache **"Mountain Panorama"** at 10:47:00 AM today. (This brings our total find count to 18525).
The original plan today was to log a random cache some distance from our camp site, and then find a few more caches using the "next closest" method. We then logged "Ben & Back" & thought why not - we will do that instead - - and we had a great day!
We ended up finding a variety of container types and sizes on our journey & found 15 caches (& DNF'd 0).
Thank you for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places to visit on our nomadic wander around Australia.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are covered in bird poo.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

No problems finding or ectracting...cache in top nick. Wonder if there was an oval in front at some stage...unusual just to see a grandstand like that. Nice spot to visit...many thanks for the cache Tassie Trekkers...cheers ST.
Awesome views up here. So clear and so crisp. The GZ was where it should be - at a pine post.
Thanks to Tassie Trekkers and *clear skies* from TeamAstro. Cache the planet!

Another one of yours for today... found after not making it up Ben Lomond due to a blizzard, but that meant the view was far better from here.
Many thanks Tassie Trekkers from the Wacky one

Travelling around Australia and spending a few months in Tasmania.
We missed visiting Ben Lomond when in this area last year so it was on the list before we board the ferry back to the North Island.
Beautiful weather for enjoying the drive in the countryside today.

A relatively quick find here. Have been really enjoying driving around up here TFTC
We've now only got five weeks left of our six month stay (til the end of March '16) from the Kurrajong area, (Blue Mountains) NW of Sydney, to tour in the caravan and also visit our kids and grandkids in the Huon Valley On four previous visits before this visit, we were muggles, so we're having fun finding the caches we didn't even know were here!

After reading through the previous logs, previous DNF, almost wasn't going to stop to search for this one. Cache quickly found safe and well and precisely where the hint puts it. Lovely views.. thanks..!!
Area has been slashed and cleaned up. I wonder if cache was thought to be rubbish. Sorry looked extensively but no luck.
Out and about on a cache hunting mission this afternoon.. Quickly found the cache

We were running short on time when we got here so we didn’t drive to ‘the top of the mountain’ but after another careful look around GZ the cache was found. Thanks Tassie Trekkers for this one and the other 8 we found today on a most enjoyable day trip to the north.
#1804 - Found by B after our successful cycle ascent on the big Ben L. Great view of mountain panorama but could not wait for the correct light, the campsite below was beckoning. The cache took quite a bit of veg. digging and parting to get to it. All part of the fun and challenges on our AroundOz bicycle tour. Many thanks to Tassie Trekkers for establishing and maintaining this deeply hidden cache.
A quick and easy drive by, though the mountain was shrouded in cloud today. Still, a very impressive view!
TNLNSL, thanks for the cache Tassie Trekkers.
best wishes,
Wal

2nd of 5 Tassie Trekkers caches in a row found today. The view wasn't _quite_ like the piccie as it was drizzling at the time. Long wet grass - yuk. But I'm sure it's wonderful in the dry. TFTC TT.
nice day caching with greyrod easy find in a place i had never been before T.F.T.C. found easy thanks to spot on coordinates.
As we pulled up near GZ, many of the sheep in the paddock stopped and looked our way - some even started to come towards us but stopped when about 30m away - guess we were not bearing lunch! It was also unusual to see about half a dozen tree stumps in the cleared paddock nearby - each had notches where timber cutters had climbed up the trunk to fell each tree. Surprisingly this cache took more hunting than we expected - the grass has grown considerably in recent weeks and the cache was buried down in the tangled mat of grass. Having seen a snake earlier in teh day we poked and prodded before locating the cache and ensuring that there were no "joe blakes" in the immediate area. The cache and its contents were in good condition. TFTC Tassie Trekkers.
Hi Tassie trekkers. Let me start by thanking you for all the new caches you have placed, they are great. Anyway I was in Launceston today as my wife and geo kid had a craft "event", so I had 4 hours to go for gold while she was "crafting". We attacked evandale, Nile, deddington and blessington and then were going into Launceston for a few before I got the call to go and collect the wife. The day yielded 25 cache finds and included two ftfs, a rarity for us.
A series of corners that would get any rev head going. I dropped geo kid I off to find the cache, then drove up to turn around. I came back to find that the cache was eluding her, so help was given and the cache was fund quickly once the hint was used.
