This geocacher reported that this geocache should be archived. A community volunteer reviewer has been notified.
We are adding yet another DNF for this one. Perhaps the owner should do a cache-check to make sure it is still there.
Nothing found today and judging by the list of DNF's this one needs a check please
After a good scout around and a thorough reading of description and logs we decided that the cache is no longer there. Judging by previous log photos the hiding place has been removed by the local council.
10 eyes here as we were in the area looking for another cache when I figured we'd have a go. Not here as far as we could see
10 eyes looked here to-day and no cache in sight. Might need some owner intervention here.
Fifth find of the day in this area...finally remembered to take a pen for the log. Gorgeous day, quite windy out here!!!
#3444 (4 of 6 today)
Dinner with friends tonight in The Shire - did I mention red wine & cheese? So arrived early and looked to knock off a few lingering caches around Woolooware and Kurnell.
Due to certain self imposed restrictions, I couldn't pick up and of the multis today, but did grab one puzzle that I solved (in company with another cacher) at a recent event.
Then headed all the way across past Sutherland to be first to arrive for the night.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Back to this previous DNF... Parked close and made the short walk to the published coordiates.
And like at the last cache, I spotted it almost immediately this time. Yeh me!
The container was lidless, so as I had a replacement in *The Hademobile* I went back to grab it and complete signing duties. Hopefully it will stay put as not attractive - but then neither was the one I replaced.

Just to let you know, Boree Regatta is on this weekend from the 14th - 16th October
Guide & Scouts Event

Searched for a while but eventually found it. Almost put my hand on a local huntsman. No lid on cache and only log inside.
31/8/16. 12:57 PM. Cache #4142.
7th of 9 today - Greenacre, Lakemba, Kirrawee & Kurnell
After clearing out all of Kirrawee's caches, the last one being "It's Always Christmas for Puppies", I decided that I had time for a little more caching, so I decided to clear up some unfinished business out this way. By unfinished business, I mean from last weekend.
For example after I'd found "Watch this space", I came here to get this one only to be muggled out. No such problem today, I had the whole GZ to myself. The cache was found eventually but unlike the description wasn't black and no longer had that magnetic personality. Still, glad to get the smiley here. Next stop, "Sutherland Shire Cycleways - Cache #19 (Challenge)". TFTC.

Had to bring backup for this one. Jassy86 good find. 2nd time lucky for me. TFTC. Needs new log!
Yay! Wasnt too hopefull considering the last few entries were DNFs! Took a few minutes but if you follow the clues its pretty easy. Containter is missing lid tho.
Stopped by quickly with the kids after a picnic. A small spider had made himself at home in the container.
Took the puppy for a walk. And we searched for a while for this one. Her sniffing skills just didnt cut it. DNF.
Our current visit to Australia had been in the planning for over a year with the very significant help and advice from friends who live in Melbourne. The original plan was for a 2 month visit, but as things progressed we just couldn't help extending our trip to the full 90 days allowed on our visas - after all it's a big country and so much to see and do, especially with our favourite pastimes being birding, hiking and of course geocaching! Our journey started with our arrival at Perth airport followed by a day cycling around Rottnest Island before travelling on to Adelaide where we met up with our friends. We then continued on to spend some time on Kangaroo Island, before heading to Melbourne via Goolwa, Strathalbyn, Coorong, Mount Gambier, Cape Bridgewater, the Grampians National Park, Port Campbell, Cape Otway and Lorne, cramming in as much as possible on route. The second leg of our journey was a fabulous 9 days in Tasmania. Having then returned to Melbourne we set off on the third leg of our journey, which was to Sydney via Wilson’s Promontory, Lakes Entrance, Mallacoota, Pambula Beach, Thredbo, Canberra and Fitzroy Falls. We are now spending a few days in Sydney with Geocaching friends before we travel on to the Gold Coast - then after a few days in the nearby mountainous birding hotspots, followed by a trip to Fraser Island, we will fly from Brisbane to Cairns, visiting yet more good birding sites. We will then drive up to Cape Tribulation before heading back south again to Port Douglas and a day out on the Great Barrier Reef. We then return to Cairns for the flight to Alice Springs, where we will hire a 4x4 camper and set off for a week on the circuit to and from Kings Canyon and Ayers Rock. We then fly to Darwin from where we will spend the last two weeks of our holiday making our way to Broome via Kakadu, Cooinda, Katherine Gorge, Kununarra, Lake Argyle, Emma Gorge, the Bungle Bungle’s and Fitzroy Crossing. Our last two nights in Australia will be spent in Broome before we fly back to Perth, from where we will connect with the flight all the way back home to Zimbabwe via South Africa. We already know we can't wait to return!
We had the pleasure of being able to go out caching today with wazza9 and Nana Nel, who along with their very kind hospitality ensured we had the best possible visit to Sydney - we had a truly great time. We searched and searched in all the obvious locations but no luck, and then there it was, laying out in the open on the grass. We signed the log and replaced the container (the lid is missing) as per the clue. Thanks so much for the cache.

Some rather large and hairy cache guards in place today. Although we had a through look, nothing like the container described was found.
A fairly simple find, but not displaying one of the described personality traits! The container is damaged and the lid is missing. I replaced it with the opening pointing downwards so hopefully the log will stay dry until a new container is in place. TFTC.
Was just about to give up when i had an idea...and there it was. Excellent cache. Thank you )
Took little man for his first ever 'treasure hunt' absolutely loved it! Can't wait to spend our afternoons caching on our way home great find once I got thinking!!!
Great little hide in a wonderful spot.
The wind here makes it ideal for kites... I think I might get one of mine up and running shortly. Seems to be windy all the time here. Will have to give this a favourite to remind me to come back.
Sneaky hide and very clever. Took a while to find. Luckily no muggles.
Thanks for the cache!

TFTC - OCW - Ali600, Beemyshell & The BOY. Great spot, with little amount of mugs thanks to the rainy weather. I spotted this guy, then left it up to the others to spot him, before the retrieval and signatures.
The other half of jmaxadventures picked this one up whilst attending an activity at the Australian Jamboree.
Found this while waiting for scouts to finish canoeing. Found with JMax adventurers. TFTCM

found together with diddyhonda. what a beautiful newly renovated place, we never went 'that far' in kurnell. TFTC
Having reviewed images of the cache last night, I wasn't sure I found the cache as I was expecting a different colour. But the log and the contents suggest this is a temporary cache. And VERY temporary as all that's inside was a small soggy piece of paper with a single log entry.
Dropped in some more make-shift log paper (back of a Guzman y Gomez receipt), a zip-lock bag to help with water-proofing and a small pencil.
The temporary cache not being magnetic, a little concern about the effect of a heavy down-pour.
Hope CO can attend to this soonish.

Found pretty quickly with the Boree Regatta having been held just last weekend!

Spme sort of scouting thing happening. Too many muggles to search properly. Next time.
A clever little cache that was not where I was expecting it to be. The log was soaked so I wasn't able to sign it without ripping the paper. TFTC
Found what I thought was cache on ground this morning. Checked with CO. Yes! Came back later after finding other cache in this area and put in place with temporary log. Not much muggle action (except in car parked nearby) as I would have looked suspicious trying to plant cache in its original hide. Remote grassland with the odd doggie walkers about. TFTC. #85. Brewmaker
Found it! I was completely unaware that this massive grass area existed out here. I will definitely be bringing the family out here! TFTC!
#3400 - 12:35; I was in Sydney with the geohoney for a non-caching event. We had arrived early and decided to take a drive out to Kurnell. I picked up the nearby trig and on the way back to the geomobile swung by and after a short search, picked up this cache as a bonus. TFTC steptoe
Found in a late evening ramble through the park with OzMudfrog. We went the long way around and came back through the middle. But found it in the end.

A bit of geocaching before the storm. I didn't know this place and this is ideal for barbecues thank you for the discovery
Spent the sunny afternoon exploring with the Geokids. Spotted the camo quickly, but required a few attempts, and eventually a tool, to retrieve the cache. We'll definitely come back to this amazing spot.
I had to work nearby tonight and took the chance to do a cache check. The cache was indeed missing and has been replaced. The hide is in the same place but i have added a piece of thick bark to ensure the cache stays in its place . Sorry for the delay in updating and replacing .
Looked in all the attractive spots here.but nothing to be found. Needs a cache check.
Looked for quite a while in the heat, while being looked at strangely by a council grass cutter muggle but couldn't find it. There was drug paraphernalia close by, so maybe it was tampered with?
Happy to find a nice spot to revisit, though.

A quick find but found the cache difficult to extract without persistence with local implements. Should now be easier for the next finder.
