Have decided to archive this series due to maintenance issues and other geocaching commitments taking priority. Will look at the option of getting another series for kids up and running though.
Our GPS wanted us to be like mountain goats so with Isqubas bad knee we left. Either the terrain is not rated correctly or our GPS was wrong.

A nice hide here and thankfully we had no trouble adding our name to the log book. TFTC .

Mistraluna - jinta29 found your cache Sea Creatures - A on 21/12/2015, 7:30 AM. This is my find #4611 and find #2 today. The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!

we started caching with our family under the name clan-wallace but now it is time to have our own identity, hence embarking on a marathon re logging exercise.
Lots of muggles on the golf course, don't they have jobs to go to! So Geohubby took the direct route up. Mac was most perturbed & did not settle until he came back down. The log is soaked, Geohubby did not have one on him( I did but I could not persuade him to do on encore)TFTC
This was great fun. Found ourselves creeping around on the golf course. ..in high heels too.
Another beautiful day to be out geocaching. However, the GPS wouldn't settle so gave up after a while. Great views though!
I would have rated this one a little more than 1.5 terrain which had me looking in the wrong area...soon I trusted my GPS and found the cache...TFTC
Another one from the series we found. I have driven past this area heaps but never had a good look around until today. It's a very nice area. Tftc
A quick find while doing a lunch stop on our way from Australind back to Perth. Lovely views from the top. Greetings from South Africa. TFTC.
Container was wet but log sheet was dry. Dried out as best I could.

Well what a day. Got up early to print my caching list for today and I blew up/fried my computer power supply
Quickly jumped on muggle partners computer and thankfully remembered all caches I wanted to do but unfortunately it meant we left home a lot later than I planned so couldn't do all the caches on the list
Well we followed instructions by going very east to get to gz.
OMG what an adventure and the only good things were I got a smiley and found 4 golf balls along the way and one about 10m from gz so could be a dangerous area
Gee those golfers need more practice. We saw three guys get their balls on the green while the other sliced his into the bushes.
They warned us plenty of snakes are in the area and we saw a few decent sized tracks to believe them too
To say muggle partner was impressed is a downright understatement. His thoughts on location of gz was enough to make my hair curl.
Arrived back at the car with plenty of battle wounds. If this one wasn't part of a series that I needed the code I wouldn't have done it.
Terrain rating a bit deceiving

Tried to follow the below instructions by CO but was more difficult than the obvious. Team Good Energy!
New cache is in position. Could future cachers please not scale the rock wall. Apart from being a tad dangerous, it also alerts passing muggles that there is something up there. Instead, make the ascent to the east or west and traverse across to where the cache can be found.
A fun climb up the rocks, and despite a thorough search in the obvious spot and immediate surrounds, I couldn't come up with the find.
Enjoyed the scrabble for this one. Cache was rather wet after recent wet weather so enjoyed the view listening to U2's the Joshua tree while things dried out. Would never have visited this spot without the encouragement of a geocache so big thanks mistraluna.
Found a few creatures when last visiting Mandurah. Spending a night at the Forte Quays so rounded up some caches while in the area. TFTC Mistraluna.
Gave up. A big rock came down and nearly got the kids and the dog. Very unstable in places. TFTC
Been a longtime out on the hunt as I still have a injured knee as there was a longer easer way to go. I took the short hard way and even with my dicky knee it was not that hard you have to watch where you put Your feet as you climb but not bad as there is a path way up there it is longer but the safer route for the little geo kid and geo dogs so if you have little geo kids or geo dogs take the longer route. If your an adult take the shorter route it's moor fun loved it loved it loved it was so much fun retreating this cache tftc mistraluna
Mistraluna well I've added a fav point to this one as I loved the view and challenge of the hunt loved it big time
Geocaching is only as dangerous as you make it, so please don't attempt something that might cause you to be hurt, or to do damage to the terrain in which the cache is placed. If there is a safer way to get to the cache that might take a little longer, then please do the sensible thing and take the safer route. Safety first is the rule we all should follow.
Nice views from up here, for some reasong this one took a little longer than the others. TFTC.
Hmmm... another challenge ... those passing muggles must have been scratching their heads to see my antics here! But it sure was a lovely view, from somewhere that only a cache would take me!
Took required info, then set off for more in this series. Thanks for the cache Mistraluna.

Out to grab a cache or two today. These seemed to be far enough away to justifiy a nice ride, so why not I thought [:o)]
[8] [8] Arrived a the GZ, well a little distance from it, parked the bike and then wandered to the indicated postion. A short search and the cache was in my hands. Grabbed the required information, signed the log and returned the cache [:o)]
Thanks Mistraluna for the cache [^]
This is my find number 2140

I decided about 1.30pm to do some geocaching and picked up skippy 46. We decided we would start with the sea creatures series. I tried doing this one the hard way first then noticed there was an easier way to get to the top. Once at the top it was a quick find and a great view. TFTC Mistraluna
OOH YEH rang about 1.30pm asking if I wanted to do some geocaching........YES!!!
We decided we would start with the sea creatures series.
Made my way up the wall.....a MAJOR feat for me.......leaving my phone and glasses abandened on a rock half way up. Once up the top a quick find was made and an even quicker way was found to get down again, with the only problem being that I had to climb half way up again to retrieve phone and glasses.
Maybe the terrain setting should be higher?

We parked at the nearby surfclub and made a short walk to GZ, getting sandblasted on the way We realised what was required however I am still wondering should there have been an easier way given the T1.5 rating [?] Either way I had fun retreiving this one, eagerly climbing the wall
TFTC Mistraluna. Last of the series for us today, hopefully our sums will add up for the finale after missing S/C-H.... [^] Container had water in it and the log had also become wet. Dryed out best we could.

Out with Janine doing this series. Janine did the hard work as in the climbing. While I had a nice rest and took a photo. Unusual location and a great view. Logs were signed. TFTC Mistraluna
Out with 1Qseeker on a Sea Creatures run. 1Qseeker was the better mountain goat here, I upset an ant nest tripped over the same rock twice (to busy looking up)
Thanks for the cache Mistraluna.
Thanks for the cache Mistraluna.
WOW... I agree.. round about probably better than immediate approach... but we did it... the hard way & what a view... both ways...

(catch up log of being part of chwiliwr team)
Last of the traditional caches of the series but the hardest of them all for Chwiliwr to get to GZ. Another very quick find once he did.
Thanks Mistraluna for the cache.

Saturday morning and I dropped Mrs K off to go to a conference and took a quick look at this series to see who had got the other FTFs that I didn't get on Thursday. To my surprise the online logs were still empty so I could do nought else but head off and see if I could finish the series and see how many blanks logs I could find.
This one ended up being the last of the traditionals I did, for various reasons, and the direct approach was not a possibility so had to take the round about route with the gentler slope. Once at GZ it was a relatively quick find and another blank log.
FTF - 8 of 8
Thanks for the cache & the series Mistraluna [^]
