Another lack of action here! I have found a few of these now so had an idea what I was looking for, but no luck today. This one might need a check up
Went with the kids but could not find this. Haven't done any other bus stop ones but looked in what we thought was the most obvious spot and couldn't see it. Looked through some of the logs and saw mention of a mirrors, which makes me think we were looking in the right spot. Might be gone, or we just didn't look hard enough !!
Looked in all the usual places and used camera phone as makeshift mirror. Not sure if it has been muggled given it was found the day before.

After participating in tonight's street orienteering based nearby, I dropped by here for my find of the day. No muggles around, so it was a quick find. TFTC.

Quick find - took longer to remove the magnets as geospouse needed more muscle and my fingers are too fat. This bus stop came complete with shopping trolley - very convenient!
A quick lunchtime find on a day that is now 'green' TFTC

Knightech and I went out for a little caching. We ended up with three finds.
This was a park and grab, similar to three or four I've already done - two earlier today. TFTC.

Coordinate - spot perfect... use the mirror to help me found your cache, signed the log. Thanks genghicat.
#2329 - 20:25; Given the rotten weather and the need to extend the current streak to 242, I picked up MrDamage and we headed down here for what I anticipated would be a pretty safe park and grab before heading home for a warm bed. I wasn't disappointed and after a DNF on DNF#2, brought about entirely by not stopping to look, we made it safely to GZ for a quick find, sign and return before we headed for home again. TFTC genghicat, great to have a couple of caches like these for when the weather turns crook!
Accompanied Dragon1982, enjoyed drive on the road to Kambah Pool caches... easy to find as very well hide thanks
Accompanied ALL7, enjoyed seat on bus stop... easy to find as very well hide FTFC
Another drizzly day in the Berra and I needed to head out and go grab my daily cache. Plans were made to meet up with specimenX and the FurfacesLL ladies this afternoon for "Dinner and a Show" and preparation for our next combined mission.
I had to go collect something from Southside so decided to swing past and grab this one and another. This one was muggle free as I had planned my collection at the right timing as the Sunday bus has passed a little earlier.
On arrival, I knew exactly where to look as I had done a number of these already so I quickly deployed the "upskirt" search method and soon had cache in hand. Log signed, cache returned and back to the geomobile I went off to the next one.
Thanks for placing this cache out for collection genghicat

A quick flat find was appreciated after spraining my ankle recently. TFTC.
Well I'm pretty sure this is my last "Take Action" cache in your series and I've enjoyed my travels around the suburbs of our capital on my short visit. SL TFTC
Today was just a day of mainly simple caches around Canberra, hoping for some quick finds. Searched for a few minutes before the cache was found.
My thanks to genghicat for the cache.

Final cache found on a large day of caching. Have tried to find this one multiple times now but because people have been at the bus stop every time, we put off our search. Luckily, there was no one here today so we parked in front of the stop and decided to move if a bus was coming. Took a few minutes to find, but the search never stop and the cache was found. Nice hide, luckily I didn't lose it this time unlike another cache of these I found once... TFTC genghicat!
At last!!!
Well, this has been one of those irritating caches for no good reason. It seems that my timing has been suspect with either muggles or construction fences causing me to fail to even look for this one for way too long.
With the weather being a bit iffy tonight, I decided that to continue the month of caching, a nice simple drive-by was in order.
Knowing that the fence was gone, I pulled up anticipating a quick snatch and grab. However, there was someone hanging around the bus shelter , but I was not to be denied again. luckily, my muggle friend decided to depart and I hopped out to have a search.
I presumed (based on my grab of 'Take ACTION, Weston') that I would know where this one would be, but it wasn't there!!! I grabbed the torch for a closer look but still no cache. Luckily, I looked at another spot that seemes logical and at last the cache was to hand!

Saturday 13 July 2013 - what started out as a foggy morning turned out to be a partly sunny pleasant winter's day. GeoSon was on fire and beat to this cache, we enjoyed this challenge on our way to Pat's house. TFTC.
This was the tenth find on a nice day spent caching. Having done the others in the series today, I had a pretty good idea of what I needed to do. A quick find once at GZ. TFTC genghicat!
My first vague attempt at this a few weeks a go didn't happen as someone was waiting for the bus. I was earlier this time and it was found quickly. SL TFTC
Found after sunset on my way back north. I thought I was going to be busted by a couple of muggles walking along the nearby footpath but they seemed more interested in talking than my activities. Cache was soon in hand and I was on my way.
Thanks Genghicat for the cache and the hunt

Looking for a flatish, easy wander close to home as I had limited time or energy but the geo-mutt was looking at me with those 'you-don't-love-me-any-more' eyes, so these locals fitted the bill. |Having previously completed the other ACTION caches his one was a breeze - especially as there was no fence in the way this time.
2013: 155 Days In A Row - No buses today. But there was a cache there!! Thanks for the cache.
I'm not really a fan of bus-stop caches, because invariably, just as you're looking for the cache, a bus is going to pull up. The driver is going to look at you as if to say "what are you doing?" and "come on, hurry up and get on board". So you have to wave the driver on apologetically, even though that's the only bus that stops at that stop, so you're clearly not waiting for a different bus, and the driver assumes you're a loony or a vandal of some sort.
At least that's what always happens to me. Like it did today...
TNLN - Thanks genghicat

I haven't been to this area for quite a while now. This visit brought back memories. There was a service station here once. Quickly found the cache.
One of three bus stops today and another short walk from the shops. This one seems very close to these new units, but no one was here so a quick grab was possible. Thanks.

A quick drive by cache. I startled an old bloke waiting in the bus stop, but he was just catching his breath.

Easy find with cbr900rr and sora 2005, he is getting the hang of where to look
Loading up the GPS for the weekends activities I note all these field notes....ooops! Did a few drive-bys on my way to my Dad's but the noticed the construction fence around this one so couldn't reach it.....yet
The construction fence has stooped us from getting to this one. The fence should be down again soon. We will be back for this one. Cheers
Swift grab while on my way to dinner with my sister.
Thanks for the cache and the series.

Second for the afternoon and mr_roo and I had this one sussed after doing the last one - I pulled up, he jumped our and grabbed the cache, I signed the log, he returned the cache and we were gone! TFTC.
6089 + 761 = 6850. A quick find before heading out to Bullen with Sol de Lune and Albida33.
Quick grab - no muggles in sight this afternoon. Thanks genghicat ! Next one please !

Had to start looking for ones closer to parking spots as GeoKid has flaked out.
I'm pretty new to geo caching and tonight I introduced my sisters to it and discovered pathtags - beautiful thanks winglen.
In town from Sydney for Christmas and I think I know what or family activity will be this year.

#287: Geoson once again. A quick find after the GPS stopped mucking up. TNLN TFTC. Merry XMas everyone!
No trouble with this one either, and we gained a path tag we have not seen before! And left one of ours in its place. Thanks genghicat.
Glad we did this one mid-evening, when the commuter level is much lower! Easy enough to find, quite a bit trickier to actually extract. (We like the look of LLoyd!)

First cab off the rank.... err bus off the stop? today was this cache. This is my closest (available) cache to home. So out I go to expand my circle and find a few other in the area. Not hidden exactly where I expected, but found easily enough. Damn! That magnet is strong.
Thanks genghicat.
Thanks genghicat.
Nice one. Wasn't waiting for a bus, but found the cache nonetheless. Enthusiastically aided by a couple of geo offspring...
No-one around today, unlike my last drive-by, so it was quick find and sign....and then moved on.
Thanks genghicat......any more coming out????
