Hi
This cache appears to have some problems. It is the cache owner's responsibility to read the logs and check the cache to sort out any problems with it and give an indication of when it may be up and running again for people to find.
**The cache is being Disabled to give the Cache Owner an opportunity to investigate and fix the apparent issues.**
Once the cache is operational again, the CO should write an *Owner Maintenance* log advising that the promlems have been fixed, and to remove the *Needs maintenance* attribute (red cross) if that is showing on the cache page. The CO can then write an Enable log to return the cache to play.
If the cache cannot be fixed it should be archived.
**If there is no response to this log after 30 days the cache will be Archived.**

The [Geocache Maintenance guideline](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance) explains a CO's responsibility towards checking and maintaining the cache when problems are reported.

Tried to get to this one whilst over in Tassie doing a whirlwind seven day tour around this amazing island state. Home again now, tired but happy, and committed to returning another time to explore some more. Didn't find that many caches during the time I was there, but this was one that I did manage to sneak off from my muggle companions and attempt to find. Such a shame that I couldn't locate this one as it really sounded interesting. Perhaps I should have read the logs before spending quite so much time looking. Am beginning to think that I'm not meant to find any caches in Launceston - 3 DNF's in a row. Tragic!! Oh well, another time maybe. Thanks anyway J&C.Szauber

Maybe the CO should check?

This geocacher reported that the cache might be missing.

Found lots of rubbish along fence line but no cache.

15-Aug-17
Sad
Looked around the fence at GZ to no avail. Maybe this has been damaged by the recent t-storm and wind or been muggled.

Easy find, such a shame puzzle section missing. Tftc

30-Apr-17

Difficulty 4?? Ah no. Maybe a 1? It was sitting out in the open, not even tucked away. No puzzle inside. Tho the log inside was nice and dry, signed it. Think this one desperately needs updating. Shame as my daughter and I was excited about the puzzle.

Sorted this one based on favourite points. Unfortunately the puzzle is gone. Such a shame
Thanks

Like others before us we found the container but no puzzle. What a shame because it seems like it was quite a fun one. As we were signing the log, a car of three muggles pulled into the car park. No at so strange unless you know that it was after 7pm and the shop was closed. Is Nuts and Bolts Tassie the night place to be in Launie?! SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek

Was Expecting it to be a bit more difficult

28-Jan-17
Cool thanks. No puzzle

21-Jan-17
Found the cache, eventually. Coords seemed to point to s locked car park next door. No puzzle inside, so the FP total seems a bit deceptive. Just an ordinary cache at the moment.

08-Jan-17
Found but no game/ puzzle

08-Jan-17
We found it - alas there was no puzzle inside Sad someone is ruining the fun !!! Tftc anyway Smile

05-Jan-17
The field puzzle element is missing. Thanks anyway.

05-Jan-17
Found @ 3:33pm while getting new tyres for my car.

Found the camo'd container but there was nothing inside except multiple pieces of paper/logs and a serenity bracelet. The field puzzle element no longer exists.

Would have been nice to complete it as intended, thanks ZebraZorbas.

Looks like the puzzle element doesn't exist any longer? Very easy, probably needs updating - definitely not a premium level cache. Thanks anyway.

Found it and signed the inner log! Nice cache and very aptly placed!

03-Oct-16
A quick but very fun find! Easier to pull apart than get back together, and hilarious to see all the logs of those who didn't even try! Felt very exposed but nothing a conveniently placed umbrella couldn't fix. Thanks J&C.Szauber, top cache! Smile

We spent the day caching with deercheetah in the beautiful Trevallyn Reserve and decided to have a look at this one before heading home to the south. After about 15 minutes the nut was cracked. We love caches that are just a bit different and this one certainly is. We have added it to our favourite list. Thanks very much for the cache and the fun.

24-May-16
Appropriate location to hide this one! Well today we cracked it without going nuts.
Thanks for this fun cache and the challenge.

13-May-16
Found easily & opened with assistance of visiting practical minded family members (nice introduction to caching!) under cover of darkness. Nice change from sistema containers! TFTC & thanks to Snakepiters for the new log. Fav point from us Smile

We had said we were done after the little yellow submarine but our pizzas were going to take 10 minutes to cook so I had to have a look and see if there were any caches around to kill the time. Lo and behold, what was just around the corner?? A puzzle which had been in our sights for a while and a 4 difficulty no less. We couldn't say no so we made the dash down the road to see if we could get it done before the pizzas were ready. The carpark was completely empty so we had plenty of time to play around with it, but as it turned out Mr cracked it pretty quickly and we made it back before our pizzas were done!!! TFTC

I reckon 4 stars is a bit of an overkill for this one! Easy peasy! I signed both the log on the outside and the one inside the puzzle. Log is ripped and very full on the inside

TFTC, right near the retailer, haha!

I loved solving the puzzle before I could extract the log. An earlier visitor had signed the instruction sheet probably believing it to be the log.

A great cache and a fav point from me.

Together with Spade52 I traveled for almost 6 weeks through Down Under Australia. We made our trip, using a Spaceship rental car, visiting the 5 most southern states of Australia, New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and Australia Capital Territory. I was the driver and Spade52 the navigator. We mostly avoided the motorways and mainly used the coastal roads that led us through many small nice and rustic villages and sleeping towns. We stayed in motels, backpacker hostels and occasionally a campsite. Luckily the weather was very agreeable during our trip with nice temperatures and little rain. We especially enjoyed the nature, the (for us) extraordinary flora and Australia's wildlife. On our trip we visited many geocaches. All CO's thanks for showing us many interesting and special spots.
With UnderDownUnder we are doing the Explorer 6 tour, traveling through Tasmania with an international group of people. Today the trip went from STRAHAN to CRADLE MOUNTAIN and ended in LAUNCESTON.
We journeyed to 950m above sea level to the Cradle Valley, our gateway to the World Heritage Area of Cradle Mountain National Park. We shared some local knowledge and interpretation of the landscape to help us choose a walk that wouldl enhance our experience here. We challenged ourselves with a hike to Marion’s Lookout. We then made a short drive to Sheffield, “the town of murals”, before continuing on to Launceston, Australia’s third oldest city.
On the way we visited several geocaches at places that we had a break or that we paid a visit to. At GZ of this geocache we easily found the cache container. Very nice hide.

Oh, I very much liked this one!! Pulled into a nearby parking spot and made a quick retrieval - but that was the end of the easy bit! Opening the container took us aaaaaages, even though we'd figured out pretty much what was required. And even then, I'd have to say that putting it back together was even harder yet! A fascinating hide, great to see something I haven't come across before Smile. TFTC, J&C.Szauber. =^.^=

Got the log out but getting everything back together was a different matter. Thanks J&C.Szauber.

Travelling around Australia and spending a few months in Tasmania.

Suffering with the flu but we needed a cache to continue our GeoStreak so decided to head into town and try some of the CBD caches that are more difficult on weekdays. That worked to a point. [:o)]

Wow good day to find this one but signing the log! What an epic and then the hardest part was actually putting it back the right way. Reckon we were here for an hour to put it back! Red Face

Looking forward to meeting local cachers at the Event on 17th October.

We lurked here last December and went totally nuts with all the fidlling & faddling. All we got then was a blue sulky. We returned today having been forced to do a little, uh, "research" (just a little mind you, hardly even a peek really... in fact I don't know why we mentioned it) so we had the nuts all cracked in moments and we could feast our eyes on the kernel within. A good thing we brought along our patented nut uncracker so we could put the pieces together again too. Thanks for the fun J&C.Szauber. Things working smoothly although logsheet is a trifle dog eared. Yet another fav point of course.

Remembering that I had missed out on this one last time, so sitting high on the priority list, we decided to give it a go. Finding a much smaller than anticipated container and then a puzzling object inside didn't make us any the wiser. Brought the item back to the car for closer inpsection where we shortly realised what needed to be done. A use of a tool to right the errors of the previous finder and much twisting and turning of the mind and the item brought positive results! Log signed, but putting the cache back together proved just as tricky as opening! I can see how easy it is for the mistake the previous finder made! Thanks for such a unique hide! TFTC!!!!

Waiting for pizza I looked up nearby caches and wow only 70 metres away!! A quick find I thought, however this became a much longer exercise. Sitting in the car twisting pulling and something moved .. Aha .. 15 minutes later pizza was ready and cache was extracted, just in the nick of time. Thanks for the fun Smile fave point.

Easily located but difficult to access the log. Returned the following day after looking up the solution on the www. Excellent challenge, thoroughly enjoyed.. thanks..!!

A favourite point from us, as we enjoy these types of puzzles. Tackled it after business hours to avoid the muggles, as some nutting out time was needed, but with persistents we were able to open the cache. Signed log and reassembled the cache.

Well our Geocaching Road Trip '15 has really started with a twist Smile . Finding the cache was easy enough but what's inside is just nutty! D4 rating it sure was as it was cross-threaded - enter Team M to the rescue. After rectifying this problem it wasn't long before we nutted it out and had the log in hand and signed. Putting it back together was just as tricky as taking apart, with great care needed so as to not cross thread again. This sure was an enjoyable one for us - something different and earns a fav point. TFTC ZebraZorbas. Replaced with new log sheet.
It appears a few cachers are finding the cache but not solving the puzzle with scraps of paper in the bottom of the container Sad

Like another before us couldn't find the way in. We were walking and with rain coming we admit defeat. Clever and frustrating...

22-Dec-14
Found it Smile

Not so much a DNF as a Failed To Sign. Knowing this cache was placed in a very muggly spot we approached under cover of darkness & parked in the appropriate location (with bonnet open for added coverage). The puzzle then proceeded to turn us into total nut cases as we tried this, that & a lot of the other. We hope we haven't done something inadvertent in our "lot of the other" stage but it failed to open for us & after some considerable time we left rather dejected & a great deal nuttier.

Since I'm only in Launceston for a brief holiday, I searched ahead and hunted out the caches with the most favourite points and this one turned up. We found a perfect park, I hopped out and spotted it immediately, quite exposed - surely not, that's too easy! I returned to the car, opened it and voila! I'm so glad I brought the Geohubby along - this type of puzzle is right up his alley. He's great with his hands. A quick signature on the papers inside (some people look to have simply signed papers floating in the container), the cache replaced out of sight and we were off. TFTC J&C.Szauber; an excellent puzzle in the perfect location for it.

06-Dec-14
This was a tricky little critter! Had to resort to devious means to work out how to open it, but eventually the log was extracted and signed. A very neat container!
Thanks J&C.Szauber

A quick stop and we nutted this one out very easily. Signed, swapped and replaced. Everything is in good order. Tftc.

23-Sep-14
Found it Smile have wanted to do this cache for a while, shame it's broken cause I was looking forward to solving it.

23-Sep-14
Quick find. Puzzle not working. Log just fell out TFTC

22-Sep-14
When we opened the cache box, we found bits of ripped log book in the box. Not only this, the puzzle itself didn't puzzle as the log book fell straight out. The puzzle looks like it needs to be fixed and reset along with a brand new log book to be placed inside as the current one is in tatters. Again, Thankyou for the Cache, was disappointing to not actually do the puzzle for the log book.
