Nice lesson in local history, This was my first virtual. Really cool way to learn about places and the folks around here.
This gentleman was quit accomplished. There is such interesting history in Wichita Falls. We enjoy these type of caches. Thank you for bringing us here. Loved the history lesson.

On a very long weekend tour of western Texas and northeastern Nevada with Medic302. The trip included three states, 42 caches (including 7 of the oldest 100 in US), 9 college campuses, 2138 miles and a nearly uncountable number of laughs spread out over 4 days. Thanks to ALL the cache owners for giving us a reason to stop and visit these fine caches.

Scrounging around for some city caches, and found this one. For some reason my brain focuses on those green caches, and misses the virtuals and multis. Trying to improve on that. I love the history we find in cemeteries. Grew up hearing of this name, and descendents. TFTC!
Although TeamWildBlueYonder & I had grabbed this one a year earlier, came back with bollweevil so she too could make the grab.
On this Christmas Even Teamwildblueyonder and j1srus were kind enough to bring me by here so that I could check out some of the sights in the area while we were doing some last minute errands in preparation for Christmas company. Thanks for placing this here and maintaining it for so many to enjoy.
We stopped here on our way home to AZ. Love getting these old virtuals & very much appreciate efforts to keep it alive. Interesting spot with lots of history. Email being sent with answers. Thanks for the smiley at this great old virtual.
