Took a while to find.Just the right amount of challenging.

Jeezaloo there are a lot of grumpy dogs here. Finally managed to track this one down. The container appears to just be a covid test bag.

Second trip to try and find this one, have added a bag, but still pretty exposed, tucked back as previous log.

Found the waterproof paper on the ground - alone. Tucked between fence and post.

Wow. Wonderful trees! Great they were in the care of a creative gardener and that they have been retained. Love the monkey puzzle tree nearby that he must also have planted.

Out for an afternoon of cyclocaching. This cache was on my route and was a quick find. TFTC.

What an oddly shaped park! It felt far too much like I was walking down someone's driveway, the end I came in. Nice hide, hint had me there in a few minutes. Tftc

I was out this way early this morning to pick up a muggle friend to go out on an overnight tramp. While I was waiting for him to get ready I turned on my GPS a noticed a cache less than 50m from where I parked. I wandered over and had a look for it. It wasn't an instant find but when I had a careful think about it, it was found in about the third or fourth place I checked. TFTC, Biggles.

Looked high and low. Did find a spot for a perfect shape but unfortunately wasn’t there… try again another time

I was inspired by someone in the weekend to go swimming. So I needed a cache between work and the pool This one meet the bill. It was precariously perched. I used some of the creeper to retain it in place.

Didn't smell the onions until it was in my hand. Some telltale trampled vegetation was a handy hint too.

Interesting. This location was familiar when I came here a few months ago doing some foraging, and at the time it seemed familiar as well, and I remembered looking for this cache, but assumed I had already found it. But then later I looked, and there it was still on the map. I must have not found it, back in the days when DNFs didn't result in a blue icon. But it was nearby on my bike ride, and ended up being a quick find once I read the clue. TFTC.

Out to get a couple of caches today. This is another new area for us and a lovely walkway. The car now has a funny onion smell I wonder why lol. Checked out a few spots including the correct one. Will admit it was my second time in same place that I felt the cache and had some fun extracting. Very clever hide a fav from us. Thanks for this cache Hotspud.

We received a notification that the cache was replaced shortly before a caching expedition not far away, and so added this one on. We gingerly put a hand through the prickly stuff and extracted the cache from a spot where we had figured it should be on our last visit. Thanks for the replacement, Hotspud!

I can see where it's meant to be but it's not up there. I cleared away the leaf litter at the base of the post and nothing down there either.

This geocacher reported that the cache might be missing.

Looked and looked couldnt find

We found the thorns and concentrated our attention on the post in the middle, while inspecting half a dozen other ones as well. But we had no luck today, despite an intensive search.

This one took longer than it should have, thanks to misreading the hint.

Took me much longer to find this than it should have! Got eaten by a few bugs as night fell and enjoyed the adventure in semi-darkness.

This was a tricky one. First we searched in the wrong spot. After being unsuccessful we decided to have a look at the spot with a lot spiderwebs. There it was! Nice hide!

[green] Day two out and about Christchurch. Yesterday I let my GPS rule- Find Next Closest was all I did. Today I controlled that a bit. Find next closest to set the direction, but then make sure I cache out the area. But first I had to drop my car in for repair - I drove from Blenheim to Christchurch on just three cylinders. That, a wherigo, and stopping in a bicycle shop for some running repairs meant that I only found 40 caches today, down from the 50 yesterday. Still, 40 was my objective, so that's all good.

I had the day off work today, but knew I'd be too busy to find a cache later on. Plus I was taking the car home now, and mum still needed to find her cache for the day too.

Came here on the freezing cold, frosty morning, and wondered on over.

Completely deserted at this hour of the morning, and that made making the find super easy. Yay!

Nice crunchy still covered in frost leaves here!!

The whole area was completely covered in frost, much more than places we went through earlier! Not much space to park while everyone was still tucked up in bed - I am sure there would be more parking during the day... Nice quick find of the cache, thanks!!

Gps was pretty wayward but found eventually after a process of elimination. Never been here before, loved the trees especially the monkey puzzle. Will have to revisit in summer when the leaves will be back on the others. Took walkway along the Heathcote afterwards for a play in the nearby playground. Tftc and thanks for bringing us here!

It remains where it's supposed to be. Great walkway. 4 shopping trolleys though . What an expensive waste! TFTC
