Looking for a full morning of caching on my e-scooter, I packed my car and headed up the coast. Killing two birds of one stone I figured Id cache and visit my father-in-law in the same trip.Quick find once at GZ but the log sheet is so damp I couldnt unravel it. Proof of find sent to the CO. With messages to and fro, it was decided I could replace the log sheet for him. With that done, I soon moved onto the next one.I found your cache, Golden Memories (Event Cache) today. This is my 3701 find.Wesso Family, TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF
After about 30 minutes of stepping on mangrove spikes hunting for it, we finally found it! Boat that is in the satellite view is no longer here so dont use that as a way to figure out the location. Its so well hidden. The log desperately needs to be replaced as it is like paper mache. Great spot though
Out for a day of caching to round off my long weekend of caching every day. Today I hit the new Aura area, then made my way over to North Bribie to coincide with the low tide, then over to Golden beach to grab one desired DT and a few extras. The last find for the day, I was determined to avenge that blue frown as last time it was missing. Arrived at GZ to find two muggle fishermen right there. I could see the cache, it was actually dangling right in front of one of them as he unhooked a small flathead. As it was crudely tethered to the branch as if the tether had broken before, I grabbed the cache and found that it had been inundated by the tide. The logsheet was mush, but I engraved my name in. I had to play it cool when one of the fishermen finally noticed me, but they took little interest in my business and after he had turned around I replaced the cache on the same tree, just higher this time and out of reach of the water. TFTC Wesso Family!
It was the last day of our family holiday in Caloundra and I still had a few caches I was keen to find before we leave. I headed down to Pelican Waters and stopped at Golden Beach on the way to look for this cache. It was a fun challenge finding my way through the mangroves and trying to avoid getting my feet wet. At GZ a quick look around and I soon saw the cache. Thanks for this fun find Wesso Family!
Great location however the rough seas has saturated the log. Michael congrats to his first find TFTC
After braving the Bruce highway last night to see the first night of the Caloundra music festival we awoke this morning to a glorious Sunshine Coast morning. Leaving the geowife in the van for some much needed rest I ventured out for my yearly assault on the caches of the Caloundra area. After finding a park and quickly making my way to ground zero, it wasnt long until the prize was in hand and I was able make my mark for prosperity. I quickly returned the hide to its place lace of rest and made my way back to the car for the next assault. A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available for other cachers to find.Cheers
After our few hours kayaking on the Maroochy River, AtTheLakeHouse and I had a cache down here that we had in our sights. Having finally ticked that cache off our ‘To Find’ list, there was nothing for it but to find a few more in the area.
Parking nearby, it was tricky to know which way to go to get to GZ. Left or Right? We chose Right, which may have been wrong. Wandering through the mangroves and trying to hide from the muggles sitting at the Caloundra Power Boat Club, we got to GZ relatively easily, apart from the squelching, sinking, stinking mangrove mud. What was immediately of interest was the tinny. Nearby to GZ, a tinny sat, sans motor, but otherwise intact. It was full of water. I’m not sure if it is there accidentally or deliberately.
The cache is in good condition and aafe and sound. Thanks again Wesso for your contribution to the game.

No luck here today. Not too sure if I passed it or if its missing. Either way I gave a good search around all the sheoaks at GZ.
First geocaching adventure with my kids. We tried our hardest and looked everywhere but could not find it. Will try again another day!

After a rainy weekend on the sunny coast, our last day and the sun is actually out. Wanted to check out the new passage in Bribie - and a lovely walk up to here and back. A bit squelchy underfoot - but no issues with the find.
Thanks wesso family for entertaining me at this location.

Quick and easy. Just make sure you wear proper shoes. I stopped here after a job interview and couldn't get through the mud with flat and had to return the next day with sneakers. Luckily, I don't live that far. Tftc
I’m staying for the weekend at Moffat Beach and came down here to finish an AL I started last year. This one was along the way. The tide was going out, so wasn’t too damp underfoot. Lots of she oaks but eventually found once I looked in a different direction. Tftc
On my way from Canberra to North Queensland with a few detours for shires. TFTC.
Took a while to spot it. Used hint to filter down the spots.

Wesso Family I found your cache Golden Memories (Event Cache) on 17/3/2022, 11:25 am. This is my find 3318 and find # 6 today. Parked the ute and saw a wall of mangroves and thought surely I don’t have to go this way. Walked over to the restaurant and there I found an easier way. With a outgoing tide it was a simple walk to GZ without getting my feet wet. A quick search and soon had CIH. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
A great little area. Was a bit concerned about my footing, but didn't sink into the mud so bonus found after attending the local parkrun. TFTC.
Up this way to have a look at the Bribie breakthrough.
Here the damage was visible, wonder how much this will change in a few years
Thank you for hiding them for me to find

Today, the plan was to kayak across from Golden Beach to the top of Bribie Island (newly formed North Bribie Island given the recent breakthrough?). I was a little concerned with the high winds warning, but the passage still offered sufficient protection to paddle across for the scheduled island event. Following a walk around the island peninsula and the completion of two Locations from the *Pumicestone Passage Meander* Adventure Lab, we paddled back across just as the sea started to get rough. I then spent the majority of my subsequent day heading around Pelican Waters and Golden Beach, walking a few trails whilst fighting the armies of mosquitoes. I then ended the day with a drive into Caloundra completing *Rocking Caloundra* Adventure Lab and a walk along the foreshore/boardwalk.
This was another geocache that I attempted to find today, that was thwarted by high tide. I got as close as I could, but I decided to not bother changing my shoes today into my wet shoes and grabbing. Thanks anyway Wesso Family for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

On a very windy day looking at houses. Found this one. Feet a little damp. Photo of tree near by.
The last one for Swampybees and me today after a brief visit to the area. Luckily we timed this right and we were able to keep our feet dry. Once in the right area we had the pick of a few likely candidates and checked them all out. Found in the last one of course. All good here. Time for us to head home. Thanks wesso family
At first, Tricky T and I wondered about all the people eating at this restaurant looking out at us. It turned out we were able to move out of sight. It wasn't too bad moving out amongst the mangroves and she oaks (very sandy). Tricky T managed to zero in on it. Thanks Wesso Family.
With my Saturday morning chores done and a Sunday morning planned bike ride around Ewen Maddock Dam, I saw the perfect opportunity to knock off a few more of those sunshine coast caches, giving me time to add to that challenge in the area. A drive north saw me stuck in a 3 hr traffic jam, hmmm this is not helping. I had contacted triple turmoil and she too was happy to grab a few on the coast.
We jumped into one car and headed around Caloundra and surrounding areas searching for caches. We collected a few trads, multi’s, puzzles and labs in the afternoon and into the night before camping out. It was a fun, but time did get away on us very quickly.
This was fun in the dark, it must have looked sus for the people at the restaurant. Us two going of along the beach then into the bushes but it was just to find a cache and that we did. Shinning torches around makes things stand out easily. With the log signed and cache replaced as found, we were off to continue our journey around this area. Thanks for the hide.

Chamad and I decided to meet up on this lovely "getting closer to spring" day. We need to get 555 Sunshine Coast caches for a Challenge cache we collected last weekend. Let's just say I am a looooooooong way off. So we spent Saturday afternoon and way into the night collecting caches and so early the next morning that I am wondering why we bothered to go to sleep
It was late at night by the time we looked for this one.

Staying at Golden Beach with grannysmith1947 and caught up with georode & E_Smiley for another day of caching in this beautiful location on a lovely clear winters day.
Relaxing place to visit, beach was lovely to view today and a bonus of a nice quick find here, thanks CO.

Out and about with georode, Snickersallan and grannysmith1947 targeting tree fishing pole caches (or with special tool require attributes) and basically any caches that picked our fancy in Golden Beach/Pelican Waters area.
Thanks for the cache and taking us here wesso family.

We got almost wet feet on this walk.
We used the nice autumn day to go caching to Caloundra. We had a fun day out, refreshed memories, enjoyed the views.

Found yesterday, but forgot to log.
Nearly gave up on this after some time searching, but a lucky spot saved the day, huzzah!

I saw that I’d have to get my feet wet on today’s tide so decided to leave this for another day.
It took a while today but my geowife and i finally found it. Have had a couple of previous unsuccessful attempts.

Pulled up near GZ and wasn’t too excited about trampling over the mangroves. But I walked down towards the old site of Caloundra lighthouse and found a path through there. Then it wasn’t too long till I spied the cache. TFTC.
Found while waiting for a friend at the Eye Clinic.
Replaced log sheet, will message you.

A few unsure faces as I stode off into the mangroves, my little sidekick came in and we made a lap around the tree and found the “golden” treasure.

What a nice little find for me today. No mozzies, no wet feet and my signature on the log after circling GZ a few times. TFTC Wesso.
I was looking for Adventure Lab for today and saw this new one. So this one was put on the list. The driver for today adventure was grannysmith1947.
So the list of today finds were adventure lab, earthcache, multi, mystery, and 11 traditional. The finds count was 19 for today.
We had lot of fun today. Of course there were lots of muggles today so lots of patience was needed.
Sorry for the generic post.
Cache a day to keep the doctor away, or is it to keep me sane. No it’s to keep my streak alive. wesso family TFTC *557* streak. *3407* Finds

Was here yesterday but didn't get till log till now. slightly wet feet when we made our way to this cache but we were happy it wasn't a swim on first approach we missed this one but moving to a different angle quickly made the find TFTC
A little bit of wading required today, but once in the spot, cache didn’t take too long to find. Nice spot. Tftc
The PRCYS Rainbow Flotilla was in action again this morning. Setting off from Military Jetty for what we expected was a short paddle across to the Island became a little harder than expected given the intensity of the not so gentle breeze raging up the inside passage. First Fort of call was the new virtual, after doing the caches on ther Island Beardman and myself then cross off a few land caches on the return to the Jetty.
The outgoing tide and wind made for hard work on the way back south. At times it was easier to walk and drag the kayak.

Ruzzelz and I landed our kayaks only 30m from GZ but it took a bit of searching as we kept discovering more sheoaks within a reasonable distance of the coords. But we eventually spotted it. Thanks for the cache.
A late afternoon stroll along the Golden Beach waterfront brought me to this cache. A straightforward find here, though my shoes got a little damp in doing so. Thanks for the smiley wesso family.
Lucky to visit this one at low tide while enjoying a drive along the beaches. Always a treat for MrsWallaby who grew up in the country. TFTC
Heading Home today and grabbing a few caches on the drive back to the airport. Lucky for us we timed the tied right...no wet feet. Tftc
Found it after a short search. Logbook is soaked and almost impossible to sign, it is also now full so this cache will need a new log. TFTC
