Today, I started out with a visit to Tinchi Tamba wetlands, with the main objective of following a Wherigo waypoint, but it was also a good excuse to grab a new challenge cache.
After repositioning my vehicle, I headed out by bike along the Deagon Deviation Bikeway to grab a number of *Monster Lane* series geocaches, riding from Brighton Park to Bracken Ridge Road. It was then an opportunity to grab litter at the Brighton Park CITO event.
I closed out the day by driving around Newport as per the *Newport Canal* series. Unfortunately, the rain arrived in patches as I spent a few hours doing this series, in which I ended up opting for my Jeep over my planned bike ride around.
After finishing for the day, I noticed that I was fairly close to this cache that had been archived quite some time ago, so with nothing to lose, I decided to give this cache a go. A nice memorial, and it wasn't long before I found the obvious spot for the cache. I cleared the area and had a good look in the tree fork, but alas, no sign of a cache here. I guess it has been five years, so a good samaritan has likely done the right thing and junked the old rusted container. Thanks anyway Triamks for the cache placement.

Find #1905 at 20:55. Yep, it's still there.
Found in sad sorry state -- container rusted and broken, bag oversized, full log outside bag.
Easily found a spot to sign after flipping through for about 3 seconds.
I considered throwing it out myself, but decided to leave it in place.
Thanks for the cache, Triamks.

I'm going to let this one be archived simply because "Booklet is full! easy too (sic) find, hint gives it away" is now apparently a reason to request a cache be archived.

Today's journey was about doing some inroads into the increasing numbers of unopened green boxes on the peninsula, so I swung by here for a look.
Thanks for placing this cache, Triamks. Found in good condition, but the log was full

I had to cruise back into my old hunting ground to pay my grandfather a visit and dropped by this one to see if I could log a find. I definitely remember the names of Des Webb and Tosser Turner as I spent a lot of childhood on the hill at Dolphin Oval.
This one was found ok, thanks Triam.

An easy find on my midweek caching outing north of town. I'm so much more productive when I get out during the week to play
Rolled to a stop in the driveway and grabbed the cache between cars. All good with this one.
TFTC Triam!

We went out with The Bennyboppers, GeoPoppy REMSJW, my brother Geokid Tobias and GeoMum MissSusan79 for a crazy caching day. It was lots of fun doing these in the dark.
Out and about at night with GeoMum MissSusan79, GeoPoppy REMSJW, my sister Geokid Madison and the Bennyboppers. TFTC!!!
Aptly named for the 460 up. Night navigation time after dinner. Our navigation skills need a bit of work.
Arrived into North Brisbane today, have set up the caravan at the showgrounds. Now its time to find a few caches.
We had a wonderful drive around the area, walked in some wonderful parklands & drove along the stunning coastline. This sure is a beautiful area.

A great day out & about with The Green Geckos. Lovely Memorial. Thanks for the cache
Out on a fun caching day with Kimocean. Great memorial for a local hero. Thank you for placing this one
Love nicknames. What else could he be but "Spider"? Glad there were none of his namesakes around, just a million ants. TFTC
Eclipse tin made me think 'magnetic' but I soon realised I was barking up the wrong tree. Quick find, trust the Coords. TFTC!
Staying for a night in Redcliffe before hitting the airport early the next day, we thought we'd nab a few finds in the area. Neat footy field and a fitting memorial. TFTC
I am heading to Clontarf for a picnic.
And headed up early to find a few caches before the catch.
Thanks for the cache.

Rode past myself and collected this cache after a day out at Redcliffe on the geocycle
No muggles around, so we went in for the dive, and came up with the cache. Signed the log, and off to the next cache location. TFTC.
We were fascinated by the information on this plaque, what a HUGE contribution to the area and to the sport. The cache was found easily and is in good condition. Thank you.
Out today enjoying the winter summer of Brisbane. This one popped up on my GPS radar as having not yet being converted.
Approach was good, parking fine and as I approached the GZ a muggle came fling in in his car then jogging over to me with paper in hand. Oh no, what now....
Fortunately he simply wanted directions - so I told him where to go !
Container and contents aii in good order.

Today, at lunch time, I took a drive to Redcliffe to clear my head from work stresses and collect a cache for today. Twentieth day in to the 31 souvenir days of August and I am still maintaining the streak (just)!
Thanks for the cache, Triam.

Found during a few hours of caching on the Redcliffe Peninsula. No games on today so it was a good, uninterrupted search. Thanks for the cache Triam!
Had some fun here. A nice quick find at GZ. Found a school library book and had to take a snap of the nearby sign. Did our good deed for the day and took the book back to the nearby school
Out and about with teamdfl for another Freaky Friday This was an interesting cache. The sign nearby made us laugh, and the memorial was lovely. Then we found a library book called "Captain Underpants", which caused another laugh. Did the right thing and dropped the book back where it belongs. TFTC, Triam.
This was a nice quick find for us today despite there being a game on nearby. Seems like "Spider" was quite a wonderful man who did so much for the area. TNLNSL TFTC
