I cant change date back far enough on
Phone sorry
So ive been BULLIED into logging my Mega caches by an unnamed SSRAT Of tasmania.
I am useless at logging caches but here it is,
We had a ripping weekend together caching Goose&Egg and SSRST all the way from Tassie.
Its great they come to Australia so often to cache !! Between setting up and showing off my Lab caches and also caching with the ultimate FTF HOUND Hunter999 we got a TON of caches and even more laughs.
Cheers to another Fun MEGA.
Sorry for generic 'blahh' logs but its a while ago.

Due to the February lock down, I was unable to do Cache Maintenance.
I intend to get to the cache in March.

Had a pretty decent look in all the obvious and a few not so obvious places. No luck for us today
Looked high and low, and even felt like I was cheating by digging through the log for any clues, but it doesn’t seem to be where it should anymore
Nice little find on our Sunday walk. Wasn’t able to actually grab it to see inside due to location but spotted.
Blustery spring day. A venture out in the zone. Not a hint of horse poop aroma in these modern mews. TFTC
TFTC. Introduced a friend to geocaching, but it was a while ago and I can't remember who it was.
Out for a short stroll just before the disaster restrictions start and found this snug at the GZ location. Nice little park with quite a few muggles enjoying the winter sun.
Today my daughter and I did our first geocaching. This was her first one and she is planning all the next ones. Thanks for a great activity to do during COVID lockdown.
Is easy for beginners not too challenging, would recommend as a starter for beginners.
We are new to geocaching and this was our first find, super fun and no muggles to be found
2nd cache for Felix and Dad. 1st cache for mum!

This wasn't the cache we were looking for...
In fact, it was our third attempt at getting a cache in the area. But then I don't update my cache listings all that often, lol.
Heymissjo and I parked not so conveniently, but the walk past The Crescent oval and it's interesting architecture was quite enjoyable.
Before we knew it, we were at GZ.
Before I knew it, Heymissjo had the cache in hand. I hadn't even got to making a single search - she was THAT fast!
And that's how the Maribyrnong LGA bit the dust.
Thanks, poiter.h.

Last cache for the weekend for The Welder and I. We have enjoyed a kid free weekend attending a concert and caching. Working through some challenges, like the LGA, which this cache will help us with. Thanks for the cache. Great location.

A day trip to Melbourne with the bicycles on board to ride around the city grabbing the Parkville puzzles seeing how they are going soon.
We left home around 6.20am, got to Parkville unloaded the bicycles and off we went for our days adventure. It was a typical Melbourne day with all kinds of weather.
For us it was quite different getting around the city on our bicycles and travelling all the bicycle paths. By the end of our adventure we had peddled 32.5 ks and ended up with 66 smilies.
It was quite an enjoyable day, something different for us to do and one that we will remember for quite some time.
All the caches we found were in good order and the co-ords spot on which made most of them a quick find.
At the end of the Parkville caches we still had time to find a few around the zoo which we done.
Then we headed back to the ute and load the bicycles up to head for home.
As we were driving our of the city we made a short detour to grab this one which was on our way. Our final cache for the day.

Seeing as the Parkville Puzzles are going soon, and that we had them all solved, we thought we had better load up the bikes and make a day of riding around the city.
We left home just before 6:30am and got back at at around 8pm. Inbetween we managed a good number of around 60 finds with the puzzle series and a few extras thrown in. And by the end of the ride we had peddled just over 30ks.
It was interesting seeing the city from the bike paths, its not our normal way to travel down this way.
I gotta say we had a typical Melbourne day too, from gale force winds and heavy showers to 10min later the sun was beaming down, making it hot and humid. But we ended the day all smiles and a great and intetesting new look on what the city has to offer (geocaching and bike path wize)
After we had finished the trail we decided to make 1 more grab while on our way out of the city. A short detour, a dodgy parking effort but a quick find. All to cap off a long day.

In Melbourne for a short visit and ADI said we needed to go caching together so how could we refuse. So a plan was hatched. A few more in the Parkville series looked good and we got solving again enjoying a number of the puzzles of different levels and themes.
We got a few caches in before needing torches as we toured around plus a stop for refreshments. No real issues with the hides. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC. We

Last cache for the day - a quick find and that makes 8 from 8. A very successful morning! Retrieved the trackable to travel around with me for a bit. Now it's time for __Cat__ and I to find some lunch. TFTC!
Cleaning up some puzzles nearby and stopped for this one whilst in Melbourne today. Great tree - easy find. Also love the houses and streets here - very funky. Many thanks for the cache.
There were a few places it could have been, but it was fun to find! Our feet hurt a little bit too
Nice easy find for first time in years getting back into geocaching but I forgot to bring a pen
We found the place very interesting to look at. The facades here are very nice.
Thank you for bringing us here. Cache was found in good condition.

After two DNFs, I finally had a find in Kensington. Easy find on a very productive late-night caching run. TFTC
Out and about with geobuddy echidna44 for a busy day putting smilies on the puzzle answers. Echidna44 had already done this one so I was left on my own. Another nice area to discover. Nice easy find. Thanks for the cache Poiter.h
