dkmacca I found your cache All Hallows Eve on 10/10/2024, 9:00am. This is my find 7109 and find # 2 today. A quick and easy find. Logbook soaked, placed a piece of paper in a snap lock bag to sign. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Thanks for this unique cache! After finding some others in the reserve, we decided to make this one the last one before making a return. There was a decent grass wade, so I galloped through to avoid any snakes. At GZ, cache was quickly spotted in its camo. Maybe a small? Cache was wet inside and out, but log still signable. Thanks for this, super cool!
Another one found in the pouring rain that was happening in the parklands. Absolutely awesome creation. Contents muddy and absolutely drenched though. TFTC
2yrs since a found log on this one. Spent 20 mins searching and DNF.
Well overgrown and a trek in and out thats for sure

another amazing cache Macca. Container was full of water, but the water proof paper was good. - Bundy .
Some good and succesfull caching in the Parklands and Quakers Hill area. Had solved a lot of puzzles in preparation and also prepared myself for a lot of bike riding. Just had not counted on the weather not playing. Although mostly cloudy and only a few drops here and there, it was the heavens opening up about half way through the day, only 400 meters from the car but enough to get soaking wet!! Favourite for the cache, but it needs a new logbook!

I could of sworn I logged this when I found it but apparently not, this was just sitting out and about so I fixed it back up in it's place, however the log was too wet to sign. TFTC
Found quit quickly. Cache container was full of water. Emptied the water, added a piece of paper with my long. TFTC
Catching up on logging all my finds since i joined in July. Happy Halloween! Tftc!
Found but unfortunately the log and contents are really quite gross - wet, slimy etc... Maybe part of the theme?! But I couldn't pull the log out to sign as it started to disintegrate as I was doing so. Tftc.
I need to assess any damage to this cache due to the recent flooding.
Cheers dkmacca

An awesome day geocaching in three of Aus’s cool suburbs. Thanks so much for the great hides. Ran around with geobabe today finding caches everywhere to solve the mystery TTFC
I was able to find this cache during my sightseeing tour today with my bycicle.
Thank you for the cache

After the recent rain the parkland is buzzing with animal sounds. Plenty of happy frogs and insects about at the moment.
A great cache design. Worth a favourite point.
The container is in good condition and the log is dry.
Thanks.

After have found the Serenity cache we kept walking along the path to find this cache. When we left the path the ground was a bit sloshy. Had no problems in finding this cache. The cache was full of water which was tipped out. The log was only slighty damp. The log was signed and then the cache was replaed as found. Thank you dkmacca for the cache.
Found at 14:42hrs. My worst nightmare, crouching down low (placing my face within striking distance of a possible snake), and having to reach into a dark hole - to grab a cache . Especially given how H O T the weather was!!! ️. I tried to jimmy it out and only partially succeeded. So glad to be out of there.
We came down to Bungarribee Park to do a reccy of the facilities prior to my DIL’s baby shower. We decided to make an afternoon of it and did a large loop of the surrounding parkland tracks.
Love the cache camo. TFTC. A Fav point for the work in the camo.

We had a nice day riding our scooters around the Parklands. Great container! TFTC

The kids loved finding this one. We picked up an interesting looking TB as well. Left a couple of log kits. TFTC
Geocache No: 635
Time: 11:52
Condition: Good
Experience: This was our 5th Geocache for the day. We had stopped caching for a long time and decided we really wanted to get back to it and start hitting the find count that we really should be at.
This was a nice little walk with the GeoSon to find a pretty good cache container. We dropped a TB which we had had since the beginning of the year.
This cache was easily accessible, easily found and in relatively good condition.
We didn't come up with much of a disturbance and we replaced the cache as found.
Thank you for the cache.

Last find of the morning while out exploring The Western Sydney Parklands with the geokiddies.
We were enjoying scootering/walking along this very quiet trail and starting to head back to the car when we passed this cache. I was about 50m out and looked to see where the compass needle was pointing and thought ooh, I really hope its in there....Leaving the kiddies on the path and carefully making my way in, the cache was quickly found in its hiddy hole and what an awesome cache this is....another great creation from this CO. Got to love a themed cache! signed the log and returned as found, all in good order here. Looks like this one earns me the Adrenaline Souvenior how appropriate!
Thanks for another fun cache, dkmacca. We have never cached up this way, but what an introduction we have had to Western Sydney caching today! We will be back for more!

Last find of four after parkrun along this track this morning. The last of the parkrunners had gone past while I was at the previous cache, so I had no one else on this track as I walked to this one.
Once I got near I carefully followed a trail through the long grass, keeping a look out for snakes. At GZ I made a quick find of an amusing cache & camo. Very cool, I should bring my teenagers back to this one, I think they would like it.
Walked back to the car after this one, and found that I'd been long enough that the parkrun organisers had packed everything up & departed, leaving me as the only car remaining in the carpark.
Thanks

#3,646 Quick find. An interesting use of a hebel block and shaped like a coffin. Nice... Many thanks to the CO ***dkmacca*** for establishing and maintaining this cache so as to encourage us to get out there instead of staying indoors watching the cricket, and have some intellectual fun seeking out the hide.
Is our TB (Roan wants to meet the world) still in this caches?
I want to send him home to meet his newborn baby brother

Coybear2000 and I decided to go for a pleasant walk around the parklands and find a few caches.
We parked the car in suburbia and set out on our walk. There was plenty of water just off the path and we could hear several types of frog. At one point we saw the head of a turtle sticking out of the water but as soon as it saw us it withdrew its head. Near GZ we left the path and squelched our way to the hide. We soon had CIH. TFTC.

Out with Trodectus for a walk through the park and a few cache finds. Approaching GZ we had to leave the path which I was not looking forward to, after squelching for a short distance, we arrived at GZ and had CIH. Probably not best to do this one after rain, TFTC
Found. Never felt so happy to be out of that long grass. No creepy crawlie today but glad for the track. TFTC.
After finding another cache nearby, we decided to go for this one even though the flies were relentless. As we're walking towards this one, we spotted a kangaroo. It took off and we saw another one take off too. Never knew there are roos here.
I love the cache. Very funny and nicely made. Favorite point worthy.
We had parked our car at the sport fields nearby. When we returned to the car, the parking lot was closed. This was at 4 pm on a Sunday. There's no sign that says it will be closed at certain times so be aware when parking here. We managed to "escape" via the footpath.
Tftc!!!

Thank you for adopting cache dkmacca.
I have a feeling some recent logs may be the old cache being found. I did look for original when I took in replacement without success.

Spent the afternoon caching.
As I got closer to GZ found its hiding spot easily. Logbook soaked so I took picture as proof

#426 Tenth of seventeen finds on a day's caching around Blacktown and Quakers Hill. Nice quick and easy find. The cache container and log are very wet. TFTC

Found it, the cache container was completely full of water, did my best to dry it out so I could write on the log. tried to position the cache out of the water but not sure how deep the water gets when it rains a lot.
Oh dear that it was a very long walk to get here with sevabo because I just had my 2 hips replacement last January but I felt good (with lots of stiffs on both hips) when we returned back to the car. sevabo found the brilliant cache before me. Thank you Gibbo455 for bringing us here on a lovely hot day.
Hate long grass!!! - had to wander through the long grass to get to this one but love the awesome RIP little cache Thanks for placing the cache.
Knowing what I was in for, I came on the MTB and took a decent run off and rode to GZ. I didn't even give any snakes a chance to wake up! Warm day for it. TFTC
31/10/15. 12:45 PM. Cache #3156. Streak day #496.
1st of 6 this afternoon - Bungarribee, Eastern Creek, Minchinbury & Mount Pritchard.
I continued walking north past "Trick - or - Treat" (unfortunately still AWOL) and made it to this one. Had to leave the track and the grass is getting long in parts, so had a little snake phobia. Once at GZ, an easy find. What a cool cache!
I signed and left a cave devil TB, only for it to get picked up a couple of hours later. Happy Hallowe'en!!!
Walked back to the highway, but from there continued walking to "Sydney 20 Days in a row streak challenge". TFTC.

Well, as I messaged Kid Ron Satan when I grabbed it, "Great Minds Think Alike".
I deliberately had left this after it's recent replacement for today - seemed appropriate. Parked near here rover and walked west (past the "No Access" sign I spotted on the way back) and over the concrete spillway across the creek until I made the walking track.
Once near GZ I too had concerns about the long grass, but worked out way with not too much long stuff to make the easy find.
Once I'd completed signing duties I grabbed the just dropped trackable and admired the cache container and guardian (a favourite right there).
Replaced, and looking at the day appropriate ominous clouds, made my way back to The Hademobile ASAP.

As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.
I meant to go looking for these at Halloween, glad I didn't now, it would have been very spooky!!
Got the old bike out & headed out to Western Sydney for the day.
After seeing a few snakes at "Slippery when wet" I was a bit dubious about the long grass, but went stomping in anyway!
Found various bits of camo, but no cache.

Couldn't find a trial in, and wasn't game to take on any slithery things, so I will be back in the cooler months with the bike and the kids..,and maybe the wife.
Decided to do this one on Halloween night was a little bit hard because it was late at night but really wanted to find did and I did
They have surfaced the path and now great for riding your bikes etc.....
Have had these caches on my hit list since they were published ..... I had got a chance to look for them
Didn't long to look for this one (wife getting impatient) No luck today Will come back for another look.
Thanks Gibbo

Despite a sign saying : trail closed, I walked through and intended then to take the trail to doonside road
Well the story around is longer than the search, found the cache quickly, sl and turned to continue but bumped into the workers, oh mei
They escorted me back with a loooong speech about "breaking the law" , but when we came to the start if the trail the sign had been blown over, so they thought then that I haven't seen it and let me go..... Weird
Tftc!!! It was worth it!!!
