Had a wonderful walk to the top. The cache wasn't hard to find but unfortunately the puzzle clue was missing and the lid can now be opened easily
#100 - 17/08/2014 - 1245
Planning on getting to 100 today and this was the one that got me there! Quite a steep hike for just over a kilometre that made this worthwhile of a milestone find. The promise of a puzzle to sign the log book made this even more enticing. Unfortunately the cache container was quite banged up when I found it and the puzzle had been stolen with the lock broken. From the instructions I could see that it was a puzzle I actually own, so it was good to know I would have been able to solve it. I put the log book in a ziplock bag and swapped the rainbow slinky for a smiley-face hacky sack. Found with Mitchaaa. TFTC!

#96 - nice bit of a walk, the cache was damaged though and the lock had been cut. The puzzle was also missing. Tftc though, great spot.

Made the most of finishing work early today and decided to head towards Toolangi and grab a couple of caches. This was my first for the afternoon and by far the toughest walk but was rewarded with the best views. Worth a fave, pity the cache wasn't working properly, it was opened with what muscles left that I could muster after the trek up.TFTC
Had heard that this cache had been bulldozed but weren't quite expecting the wanton vandalism that has occurred. The cache had been moved about 5m. Parts of it where missing and other changes had been made. Nice to see a cache up here would have liked it to have been more solve able on my first 2 visits. Tftc rnln
An enjoyable walk in with Noddy we finally found the cache after a good deal of searching. Looks like the area has been bulldozed and the cache has been damaged and the key seems to be missing. The only fortunate thing about all of this is that the locking mechanism inside has been damaged too, but with a bit of panel work and a touch of brute force, we were able to straighten it out and the whole thing came apart nicely. Signed the log and replaced the cache where we found it. Should be a lot easier for the next cacher to access. Thanks henohenomoshi.
Nice walk early morning with Day1976 to GZ. It appears cache location and cache were dozed by authorities clearing a firebreak. Cache damaged and lock key missing. Cache returned to where it was found which is about 6m from GZ where trees have been pushed over. Signed log, TNLN.

Geez!!!! What a killer hill. But I was going to get there and back dead or alive. Took my walking pole as you do really need a help on the very slippery stones on the way down. Strange puzzel though, but your hints do really help when you stop to think. A very satisfying FTF. Thanks Heno.
I am by no means a puzzle person so if you plan on doing this cache don't take a lot if notice of what I write. It is my experience.
This was no fun. If I could have operated the puzzle then it might be a different story.
It started with the 2km walk up a rather steep hill. Or on a grade of 1 in 5 over 1.2km map distance. This was fun. Bit harder then difficulty 3.
Cache was an easy enough find. That's when the fun stopped. Bronze object wouldn't turn seperate or whatever it was supposed to do and can't see how it could have. So couldn't get the lock number to sign the log or whatever was required. The chain on the log wasn't that big so looked at getting the second lid of but that wouldn't move either. After 45 mins and getting ready to smash it decided to give up.
Now a difficulty 2 puzzle should be achievable even for my mind so left. Overall spent 1.5hrs on it. Found cache but can't claim the find yet. Stamped the box so hopefully someone will tell me how to do it because it has been too big a waste if time not too be able to claim a find when I opened the container. Good luck to future people. Maybe your mind will be better suited then mine to it.

In response to Paul's log I will be increasing the difficulty level of this cache. I assumed at first a difficulty of 2 was ok for this as I was lucky enough to solve it in a reasonable amount of time the first time I tried it. Hopefully a difficulty of 4 is more accurate.
Sorry Paul as that is a decent hike up that hill. In regards to terrain I assumed absailing/rock climbing or scuba diving as an example of terrain 5, so a 3 is pretty good for this cache in my opinion.
Cheers - Heno

Maybe let puzzle minded people have a go first and then discuss the difficulty with them. Your are right about the terrain but for most geocaches I have met this is quite steep and also requires returning to the car.
