This is my 4th find of the series over the last 12 months. At this rate I should have it done early 2015. I like the new location. Thanks.

18-Dec-13
Second time lucky... But it's easier to find when there IS a cache to find. However this little frog did a vanishing trick first time round ... then after using a life line he decided to show himself. I'm sure I checked that spot thoroughly before, but there he was. Just one more frog left now...
Thanks foe the cache mistraluna.

21-Sep-13
Have moved this one to a new location - maybe not as picturesque, but this little froggy should now be safer from muggles.

30-Aug-13
Little blighter has hopped away, yet again...

27-Aug-13
Checked out the lay of the land here first, but as there were a couple of muggles on the nearby play equipment, moved onto the nearby froggie first.
It was almost dark by the time I came back, muggles gone, and so had the cache I think. Confirmed hiding place with owner before leaving.
The paperbarks here are suffering quite a bit of denuding by searching cachers, which is very sad to see!

15-Jul-13
Good cache for the kids.

Dropped in to check on this one. All good - safe and sound where I left it.

This ended up being our nemesis cache in this series. We were hoping to find them all so we could log the finale but it wasn't to be Sad After reading previous logs we were prepared with plenty of insect repellant so even though we saw plenty of mozzies we remained bite free Razz

I kept an eye out for muggle activity...the neighbours across the park were out the front watering their garden.... while brave geohubby poked around in the long grass and trees for about twenty minutes but we must have lost our geocaching mojo because this one eluded usSad

We still thoroughly enjoyed searching for and finding all the other cute frogs. Many thanks for the hide Mistraluna [^]

06-Mar-13
Quick find but the frog doesn't seem to match any on the Finale sheet

Had a bit of spare time today so decided to revisit this one as last one needed in this series. A quick search and the prize was soon in hand. Can't believe we missed it the first time. Thanks Mistraluna for a great series of "Froggy Friends". Just need to put the info together to find the mystery cache now.

40 DEGREES was the anticipated temperature today but that wasnt going to deter us from getting a smilie here! Turned out it was 41 degrees and stayed over 37 for many hours. Sunscreen, Bushmans and plenty of water was the order of the day.

Hmmm well we didn't find this cache we both searched in all the spots that presented themselves despite our GPS wanting us to search in the neighbours yard [B)]

No luck for us today.

27-Dec-12
Had a good look around but couldn't find it. Mozzies were bad. Will have to try again later.

Heading south after spending the weekend in Perth so wanted to get this series off our 'to do list'. The local council workers were near gz mowing when we arrived but we were able to stealthily get close to gz, however our gps was telling us gz was over the neighbouring fence in the vicinity of their gazebo. Quickly called the CO who confirmed where we should be looking and so were able to locate the container without calling attention to ourselves by the council workers or the neighbours who were in their backyard. Our co-ords were 407 & 261.

05-Dec-12
Back up and hopping, but in a new spot.

This froggy friend has hopped away, probably with a bit of help from a muggle. Have a replacement ready to go, just need to find a safer location. Could cachers PLEASE take care to use stealth and rehide the caches well so that muggles don't find them. Thanks

I decided to have a day of geocaching in the mandurah area today. Skippy 46, geodaughter Kristybelle and her 6 year old son came along as well. We had a great day with no DNFS. This one took a lot of searching and i even had to PAF. Once the info was written down and i dragged the grandson away from the water we were off to the next one. TFTC Mistraluna

02-Dec-12
What better way to spend a sunny Sunday than to go geocaching.
So with OOH YEH & Kristybelle, we set out to make a dent in the Mandurah area.
After a long search, OOH YEH, PAF and we were able to add another smiley face to our list.

After having some lunch waterside, this was the next closest cache for us. We found the froggy friend without to much trouble after looking around the tree first Wink TFTC Mistraluna, clue noted and we were on to the next Big Grin

While heading to a nearby conservation area for some night caching, a detour was made to make a start on this series. Thanks for the cache.

We decided to use our evening walk to grab Froggies A to C as it looked to be an easy distance to cover before dark.
Although we drive along the main road into this area each week we had not previously wandered into the suburb and once again we were pleasantly surprised at the park area geocaching took us to. There was lots of bird life around the ponds and as dusk approached the frogs started up in full song which was quite appropriate given the caches we were after. Smile

This one had us searching all sorts of places for some time. In the end it was in an obvious place if you have done some other caches by the CO - we just didn't remember what we did a couple of weeks ago Red Face

This was cache number 990 so only 10 to go to the big 1000. Smile

Thanks for the cache Mistraluna and excuse for a different path for our evening walk. [^]
