7507. [green]Well this one wasn't archived when I downloaded the PQ and is still in situ and I was able to put my name on the log sheet. The first cache seen by a friend we are traveling with today. [/green]

Easy find in a carpark I know well. Knowing the logbook is full from previous post I didn't open the container. I was carrying a spare logbook and bag but not the type for nanos so I couldn't fix it.
Picked up this little fella pretty much straight away.
Found on Mrs and Mr Spreyton22's 30th Anniversary! We decided to have a walk to Tamar Island and check out the wildlife. A great day!

Exactly our sort of micro. Nice and easy to find. We then set off for a pleasant walk through the wetlands. The log book needs replacing.
Wanted to find this one on the way out to the island, but too many muggles about. On our way back, though, things were pretty deserted. Quick find. TFTC.
During our holiday in Australia we spent 10 days in Tasmania and found some caches on our trip...

No problems with this one. A quick find under the watchful eye of the National Parks and Wildlife officer who pulled into the carpark as we were logging it. Thanks.
A quick find due to the excellent hint. Had done the caches out on the islands previously and can now cross this one of our list as well. TFTC
Quick grab when visiting the wetlands this morning. Didn't have time for the walk out to the island unfortunately but it's definitely on my 'to-do' list. Thanks for the cache.
Picked up on the way to get clue no. 6 on a reverse geocache given to me as a birthday present.
Found by Facitman with Rhinogeo at 15:33
A quick stop as we continued south back to Launceston. We considered for a moment walking out to Bird Hide but then we thought better of it! Rhinogeo had his hand on this cache before I even had a chance to look!
Thanks DaFiChNi Team

This turned out to be a quick park and garb with little muggles around. We parked next to GZ and put our hand on it straight away. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC
A nice easy find after a bit of a scratch around.
This trip to Tasmania going anticlockwise from Devonport is our third trip and the first in our motorhome. This is another cache, there will be many more, hopefully.

Not quite sure that this is worth a 2 1/2 difficulty level - this was a quick find for us.
meet up with Ian and Penny here and gave them macropus rufus to contunie his trip. good luck on your holidays guys.
This was our 4th cache find in the caching run & we found it at 09:03
So this now makes our total find count 5838.

Normally we don't attempt nano caches, as we have purged our GSAK database of any micros with the word "Nano" in the cache description. We believe that nano hides have become far too common these days, and many are placed in spots where a decent container could have been hidden.
We would have been blissfully unaware of the cache, but we met Choppersrule in the car park, and he alerted us to it's location.
[/blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent (Under 2 metres)
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks DaFiChNi Team for the hunt today.

Nice little micro! Found in the rain, so I didn't sign the log. Reminds me. I must get a log roller! Thanks for this little beauty!
Got this one very quickly and took log to sign in the car. Then the meter reader guy arrived which delayed us putting the cache back for a short while - just our luck.

Sunny but windy day. Nice easy find after guides from jamboree had passed by! Tftc TNLN
Easy find once we checked the clue, though we felt a bit exposed - people to the left of us, cars to the right, into the valley of... No, that's not right.
Wetlands? yes it certainly was! the rain was really coming down, we only got as far as the visitor centre. Very accurate co-ords. TFTC
Decided to nab this one out walking tonight. There was someone in their car in the carpark but he was pretty much ignoring us so we went for the cache anyway. A quick find, sign and replace. TFTC
When we arrived near this location we recalled another cache which had been hidden very close by. Given the proximity of the Tamar Wetlands cache, the previous cache must have been archived or the Ump would not have approved this one. We had to be patient for this hunt - two or three family groups were just making their way from the Visitor Centre back to the carpark after visiting the Tamar Wetlands. Once they had got into their cars we were able to look for this cache. The hint and accurate coordinates resulted in a quick find. the cache and contents were in good condition. TFTC DaFiChNi Team
Day 7 of our escape from the NT trip, seeking some relief from the tropical build up
Thought we could grab 2 here but didn't realise we had to pay to go to the other one so this was the only one we did.

This is the smallest cache I have ever seen. Really cool, because it isn't what you expect and spotting it took a bit of lateral thinking. I thought it was a dome nut! Thanks for the cache guys....
Not very busy here today so a quick easy find was on the cards. Mission accomplished. TFTC
Bit of a challenge to look innocent: a guy was cleaning out the nearby fish traps and was propably wondering why I was just sitting in the 5 minute only space. The tightly rolled paper needed removal with specialised car tools- daughter's hair clip. All good and replaced securely. TFTC
Hi DaFiChNi Team
Today was the second day of a two caching expedition with Budgietas and Cheesy Pigs. Yesterday was fine and just what you want for caching. However, today we woke only to find the weather conditions totally the opposit of yesterday - pouring with rain. Not good for caching and not even good for the ducks!
Yesterday, I left Huonville at 0700hrs, met up with the two other finders and left for Launceston about 0900hrs. Today, left Western Junction round 0645hrs and went for breakfast at Maccas. Cached all day and got back to Huonville on the first of November at 2340hrs. A great trip and I extend my thanks to Budgie and Cheesy for making it a memorable couple of days. Thanks to CraigRat for organising the event on the 31st of October.
This cache was my 20th for the day:
This was a great hide found very quickly. The weather is now being kinder to us than it was earlier this morning. The cache was found, the log signed and container returned to its hide at 1138hrs. had searched for a cache in this area before. It was a little easier to find this one though. No snakes today but it was WET!!
From here it was off to find "Gateway to The Wetlands."
Day two had me find fifty-one caches, yesterdays caching produced fourty-one finds for me, total of 92 for the entire trip. I got a personal best for finds in a day again today and I think Cheesy set new one again today too.
Thanks for the cache
Cheers OldSaint.
