We continued today our tour of several AUS states in the NorthWest and thereby searched, found and logged this interesting Traditional-Cache.The weather was - said in one word simply best. The good hidden caches and the being on holidays kept us the whole day in a good mood. The cache had good coordinates, and thus was easy to find. The logbook was okay, and allowed easy logging. Thanks to TropoBirdo for the generation of this nice cache Snapper View (with the proper agenda), for leading us here and for showing us this funny location as well as the ongoing maintenance of this cache.PS: Please forgive us the uniform log which is needed due to timing problems - if necessary special actions and happenings are there described where they happened.Greetings from Germany together with the hope to meet somewhere like event or wood. Searched the standard roadside hide spot (near GZ), but NO cache found.I discovered 2 magnets glued on the underside of a potential site, which would clearly be a cache holder, but nothing was attached.
A very hazy view today. The Moose found this in a place Id already looked twice. Thanks for the hide
10127 - 14:00Together with team IkZie.A bit of a search and then we had itThanks for the cache
Together with team Saturnus on tour through Australia. Thanks to team Saturnus the cache was found. TFTC
Thankyou very easy to find The container was beaten up so we got a new one for it
Found in a typical spot. We are heading to Cooktown after walking the Mossman Gorge. Absolutely stunning. *The generic bit for this trip*We are on our way north for warmer weather. From Victoria to Cooktown, weaving inland and to the coast, caching as we go. No real plans, just taking each day as it comes and enjoying the adventure in our converted ambulance. Thanks to all COs for placing and maintaining caches for our enjoyment.
Not sure it'll it's still around after all the rain and whatnot we have been having!
Heading back to Trinity Beach for a couple of nights before we start heading to Iron Range. Missed a few today but was rushing - will be spending time between butterflies and caches tomorrow. Heading down the hill and a quick park and grab here - though had to approach from the right angle to reach.TFTC TropoBirdo
Northern escape Day 3On a longweekend trip from Mackay to Cooktown and back.Crazy, I know.Pulled up and a quick find was made. What a view.SL TFTC
29 September 2023 11:21 am Friday bunadoorian. A nice hide found by Grub62. My short arms were not quite long enough. TFTC.
bunadoorian and I were out on a drive to pick up a couple of LGA's while staying near Cairns. This was our second LGA today. I found this cache first - helps having longer arms. TFTC and for bringing us here for the views - TropoBirdo
On my roundtrip along Australia with Oopie we are douing always some caches. All COs thanks for bringing us on this nice places and making this caches.
Together with Travelser I'm going Down Under. We are driving around with a motorhome. Started on the 17th September in Cairns. Our plan is driving.along the eastcoast down. Then in the south on to Adelaide and from there ending the 31th October in Alice Springs.During our trip we of course search for several caches. Most of them brought us to very nice spots, like this one.All the CO's, and in this case TropoBirdo, thanks for bringing us here and give our trip a special accent.
Having sampled the chocolatey goodies below, we took a trip up here for a look at the views - and this cache of course. Once the itinerant muggle had departed, I soon had the cache in hand, signed and replaced at 15:25 before the next round of muggles arrived.
TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks TropoBirdo.

Apologies for the late log here (01.01.24) but I've had a busy time since getting back to the UK.After fun at Cape Tribulation (not living up/down to its name) I headed south again, via that overpriced chain ferry, and made a quick find here when I stopped for a look at the view and a leg stretch. Cracking!TNLN-TFTC!SP (UK) on an epic trek right around the world.

Cairns to Adelaide Road Trip
Day Two: Cairns and adjacent LGAs.
Weather: not too hot, and only a little rain today. Perfect!
Greetings from a transiting South Australian.
I thought the view at the preceding pull out was better, but this is pretty good too. The cache has lost its lid, but seems to be doing ok without it.
Thanks for this hide TroppoBirdo.

On holiday in North Queensland, we enjoyed the view and logged this cache. Thanks, Edwin
Have turned a sad face from a few years ago into a smiley face. My camera helped today. Needs new log
A beautiful view at GZ, and a great place to stop for a break on our drive today.
We found this one in a logical place and soon had our name added to the log
Thanks TropoBirdo

Day 17 of our adventure to Townsville Mega. Thus was a quick find, stamped log and replaced. Thanks to TropoBirdo.
On our first day of the year caching expedition heading down the range. A quick stop sign and replace. Amazing views from this location. TFTC
I am not sure what it is I am looking for as there was no clue on in the name, it is micro, and It am told by previous posts that the co ordinates are out. I get like I was looking for a needle in a be haystack with this one.
Great hide! Loved the view and met the Mad-hatters, so we all joined in the hunt! A bit tricky, but good fun. Found by Muggle Mama!
Found with a lovely Geofamily. Lovely view.
Coords a bit off, but well hidden in a usual cache hiding spot.

Thursday. Leaving Daintree we decided to head inland to grab some caches along this path. This was our first cache. Couldn’t spot the cache first up, so I stuck a stick into the obvious spot and felt it hit something that made a noise when I hit it. The cache was easily grabbed. We replaced it not quite so far back in. Great views!
This was the 1st of 14 caches found on this outing.
Thanks ***TropoBirdo*** for showing us this place

Great view from here. I first saw it 45 years ago, my first sight of the sea for 2 months on a bicycle going down. Today I have cycled up going west.! Pity I could not find the cache.
No view that we coukd make out, but it was apretty dismal day. Our coord had us initially searching wrong site, tried the next obvious spot for a quick find. Tftc
Found during a trip from Adelaide to the northern tip of Australia and back. Traveling up solo through central Queensland, I met up with e.gregory1 and a non-cacher friend near Cairns for the rest of the trip northwards, finding caches along the way. We spent three weeks on the Cape, visiting many out of the way locations and enjoying the scenery. Thanks for the cache TropoBirdo!
After taking three weeks to meander my way up from Adelaide to Cairns on my own, I met up with FeatherWaite and another friend to head further north to Cape York.
We spent another three weeks travelling up to the tip and back to Cairns, seeing the sights and finding caches along the way.
We found this cache while heading back to Cairns.
Thanks TropoBirdo for the cache.

As a birthday surprise, geohusband made sure he knew exactly where we should be looking…hooray - we found it!! Our fabulous weekend is off to a cracker start. It’s a bit hazy from the lookout, a pleasant 23 degrees. Next stop lunch in Mossman.
Cool view. Few bikers here taking photos of there mates riding. They were nice to have a chat with,
Great to get this one. Coords are a little out but it is safely tucked away. Thanks
Quick park & grab in the rain whilst racing back up the hill to pick up the kids from school. Watch out for the ants that have taken up residence Great spot, TFTC!0
Nice cache, sneaky but easy hiding spot. Someone has added an extra bit of paper for the log so thank you to that person or people! Tftc! ️
Had a look at all the classic geocaching spots Poked around for a little while but I couldn’t find it either. Not sure what the container is meant to look like I did find classic geocaching lid but no container.
Im sure there used to be another cache on the backside of this mountain that I found years ago. This needs a new log.
Stopped at the wrong lookout the first time so we got double views, but I quickly found a classic cache in a classic hide. Tftc
We're staying at Port Douglas this week and today I headed out of town for a bit of a drive in search of some local caches. I found some on the coast but the lure of a drive up the mountain ended up getting the best of me.
The view from here is good but is spoilt by the power line. Much better is the one up the hill a little further ... it really topped off what was a very enjoyable drive from Mossman to Mount Molloy and back.
Thanks for enticing me up the hill with a series of hides TropoBirdo.
