Logs
Reading recent logs I didn't spend a great deal of time here... However I gave the area a once over and came away empty handed...
Council has been in and painted the rocks grey, probably to cover up the bright blue that was graffitied there back in January.
With no finds in the last month (and this cache usually gets found fairly often) I phoned a friend who had previously found it and between her description, the hint, the gps and photos I had GZ narrowed down to a 2 metre area but found nothing.
Given the council activity I think this one needs to be checked by the CO to see whether it's still there.

14/04/2015 - Stopped by to try to grab this one tonight at about 10:00pm. It was a nice quiet night to go for a walk and I had planned to grab this one and the nearby Crazy Cachers cache tonight. I arrived and had a good look around 5 metres either way of ground zero and also couldn't find anything. I didn't read the recent 'Needs Maintenance' log until I was at ground zero and now that I have been there, I tend to agree that it might need a check by the owner please. Thanks skibeagle 163.
Put mower in to have new blades put on. Used the opportunity to go for a walk and low and behold came across this one. Very neat hide. Thanks
The cache needs a new log desperately.

I'm sure I have found the right place but sadly came up empty. Turned over and pulled every loose rock out. Will come back another day.

Nice spot. Took a while but cache is all good and relatively easy find. TFTC.
We had visited this cache a while back but didn't get the chance to 'do the deed' as the heavens opened & we did the bolt for the Geo-beast just in time to escape one of Brisbane's biggest, more recent, storms!
This time we were meant to get our smilie as we were actually being directed to a nearby cache when the penny dropped that this place was familiar! Checked the trusty iPhone &, sure enough,we were only 17 metres from GZ.
A short search soon revealed the prize!
Beware! Muggles aplenty. Also quite a bit of water sport with turtles & dragons.
A shame some clown has graffitied the rock wall bright blue.
Log is full & needs replacing, sorry, nothing available at the time!

We were looking for it for some time when Crapo finally told me the clue. And here it was! TFTC!
!!!!!tftc!!!! Took a wander down to this one wow muggle central at times. Also a local fisherman trying to rid the area of a pest non native fish aswell. After stairing at many pest fish ,eels, ducks, turtles and lizards made a fairly quick find and a quick replacement. Thanks for bringing me here it was plentiful with life!
Second find of the day!! Our girls are freakishly excited!! Our first day out and I think it's fair to say that we're addicted

Once past and I had to move on due to muggles, but on the second attempt container was found within nanoseconds. Just had the right angle at the right time, it was actually almost in plain view. Hint for other searchers: set your sights high! TFTC
Thought I would have a look for this cache as I was nearby. Thought the clue sounded a bit easy and I was right. The muggle factor did not help at all. I spent more than half an hour making pretend calls, sending pretend texts and watching the ducks. I was about to walk away, when something caught my eye at the same time as there was a break in the passing muggles. I checked and sure enough, the cache was there. Found a seat a bit further along where I was able to sign the log. Went back to rehide the cache and forgot where I found it...lol Luckily, I found its hiding spot after a minute or two.
This was the first difficult cache for the day so it caugth me a bit off guard, was about to give up when I reconsidered and persisted.
Going over the area again being more methodical, eventually the hide revealed itself.
Tricky! Thanks skibeagle163

On the way back to the car I figure it was not that much further to head along to this cache from the last and took off on foot then bother with moving the car.
It was not to far along that I spotted them same crazy cachers from the last stop. Bright minds think alike it seems. So with three sets of eyes looking it made for something of a much easier approach to such a hide.
A few spots where checked but I tried working with the listing and some of the things that were available to try and put together a more targeted approach. Before I could really be done with all of that bristracker had managed to lay her hand on the cache in just the right spot.
We all added our names and returned the cache as found and parted ways again, this time it turned out to be the final parting of ways for the day, as I headed off to the next stop on foot.

Followed the advice of an earlier finder and used my hands to feel all along. Had 2 other cachers with me and was pleased to be the one to find it.
Out with Bristracker for the day picking up a few caches on the North side. Meet up with OrionJ on the way to the cache. There were many potential hiding spots and the 3 of us set to looking. Bristracker came up with the cache, and we signed it. TFTC
we parked nearby and headed off on a nice little walk along the path to where the phone led us. Avoiding the few muggles out for a stroll we managed to find the hide and log it, replacing it where it belonged. This was an interesting wall. TFTC
Soooooo tough! Agree that Rock walls can suffer damage from over zealous cachers. I wanted to rip the wall down after 20 minutes!
Restrained myself and went along carefully until I found the spot. Recovered and returned.
Lots of muggles and mozzies. Tftc

A little methodology in where to start with this one. Just keep putting your hands everywhere, checking everyone and you soon turn up the goods! Thought it would take longer! Glad to sign the log! TFTC skibeagle163
Lots of squaking, quacking and splashing from the ducks this morning. I'm sure there were some crows in the mix as well.
A beautiful place to stop and search.
Tftc skibeagle163, I was about to give up but then tried one more time! All's well with the cache.

On the north side for a meeting and had time on my way home to stop for a few caches. This one took a little to find, but the coords were spot on and I just had to search. TFTC.
Took a while but we found it. A long bit of paper inside a small container. I wonder what we'll find on our next trip. YAY
Phew! Was about to bail. This one was tricky we reallt didnt want to pull out all the rocks for fear it would collapse. Hubby found it after a few reviews had photos which was helpful. THANKS!
Look, there seems to be three caches near each other. Parked the car by the little bridge, nicely uphill to prove how well I can to the hill starts with a manual car.
Wondered over only to discover a structure I am normally not keen of at all. However, the smartiephone compass was eager to point to a specific location so commenced the search. And after a minute or two, the hide was revealed. At least this was a nice, clean, and safe implementation of such a hide - they way they all ought to be.
All good here. TFTC, Skibeagle163!

Clues didn't help too much.. Found it was pretty high up behind a loose rock. Team vikwrightard ftw
There was some moorhens. And I named one Mork. And I took Mork home, because I like animals, and birds. But my mum does not like birds. Thank you for the cache, and thank you for the moorhens!
[ed: I have no idea about that taking one home bit. I certainly didn't notice one in her pocket or the car!]

Find #1168 at 14:38 with MissGeosie (with whom I'd ridden right past it without realising a couple of weeks ago) and MissSuzie.
Oh, no, not one of those. OK, time for the hint. Hmm, doesn't narrow it down much.... down.. back.. fiddle...oh, hey, I found it [^] That didn't take nearly as long as it could have!
Still not sure how the hint relates to the hide, perhaps it's crept, but it sure is a nice little hideyhole
Thanks for the cache, skibeagle163.

Today there is a geocaching event on the North Side.
With the fantastic event over it is time to head home.....via a couple of caches of course.
I soon found an appropriate parking spot and wandered over. After quite some searching I eventually found the little...cache.

Nice cool day for a caching outing with Nurseyjulie, then I had to scoot over to my office to drop something off. Spotted this icon on the map.
My claim to geo-fame the Rock Star so not an option to walk away without this cache
I started by looking at the Hint. And every second rock met the criteria so that was no help. Then thought about the 'eye' and figured out what that had to be. Read Gunnie's log and he's about a foot taller than me. So decided to get a fix on GZ then go left, then right, up and down. Where would I hide it with a creek nearby? Tricky little blighter but... Gotcha! Cache in good nick!
Replaced in its hidey hole and on we rolled The coords are good so walk out and back a couple of times until the GPSr settles and trust your instincts here.

Aha, found it this time... My second attempt at this one and soooo much easier for some reason. Perhspa I went in all tense expecting another fruitless hunt but I methodically worked my way along GZ and had the container in hand within 2 minutes... That was a nice feeling I can tell you... [^]
Details added to the log, I tucked it away and headed off, feeling all smug and happy...
Cheers skibeagle163

Found it on my second visit. Still has no idea what the hint means. There are lots of lose rocks!
Once I worked out the clue it was a fairly quick find between exercising muggles. Didn't have a pen with me though so will come back another time to write on log. All in good order. Very peaceful location. TFTC.
I have a few caches on a dnf file and stones feature in a lot of them. When I saw thew GZ, I almost turned away. But I don't get this way very often so thought I may as well give it a go. So many stripped rocks and most don't fit the bill. However, luck was with me and I managed to put my hand on the right one. Thanks skibeagle163
Cycled down from Deagon for a bit of exercise. Grabbed a few caches along the way including this one. It took a bit of looking and prodding rocks.
Not today. Could not see the eye just lots of stripped rocks and not the correct one.
What a lovely spot. Loved watching the ducks enjoying their swim. Quick search and came up with the goods.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
a bit too far to walk from the nearby tennis centre but a short drive. Once at gz I looked up and down finding about ten loose rocks before finding the right one.
thanks for the cache

Almost forgot about today's souvenir. Arruved at the GZ torch in hand, and after disturbing a family of water birds, the cachw was found after a few minutes. It was so cold outside that the cache container itself was cold to touch. The cache and contents were in good condition.

T-Tech needed to visit Bunnings this afternoon, so afterwards we decided to grab this one as our cache for today in the 31 Days of Geocaching in August. It was a very busy spot at 4:30pm Lots of muggles walking and on wheels We spent a while alternating between admiring the ducks and scanning GZ for the hiding spot, then once we spotted a likely candidate, going in for a surreptitious check. I think it was the 4th spot I went for that I finally found the cache hiding away. Nicely done. TFTC, skibeagle163.
Out with IolantheK to get her cache in August quota [^]
(She has to go a long way from home to find a cache nowadays )
Made our way down to GZ to the sounds of Kiai and the ding of a bell from the local Karate school.
Took a bit of searching as this is a busy path, eventually IolantheK moved something and discovered the container [^]
The cache is dry and in good condition [^]

Nice quick find, which was a nice surprise. Did a systematic search starting with the most likely area - success!
A short stroll along the path and we started the hunt. Didn't take Pagan too long to spot this one. Thanks skibeagle163
Tried finding this one on the way through about half an hour earlier with no luck, so we left it until the return journey. This time we did a systematic check, and found it after about 5 minutes of searching. Great hide - love this little park, although I think some of those ducks are a bit game swimming in some areas of this creek! TFTC skibeagle163.
Couldn't find it earlier as we walked along the path but was able to find it on our return journey to the car . We had no idea what the hint meant so we did a systematic check from one end to the other. Matt eventually found the well hidden cache . All is good with the cache . Found with Matt_Eth . TFTH skibeagle163 .
Stone the Bleeping crows, I couldn't find this one... I arrived at GZ and the heavens opened. Thankfully, the clouds were looking dicey when I left the car and I had my umbrella with me. Up and down the wall I went, scanning for something out of the ordinary. I thought I had an idea what I was looking for but maybe not...
I'll be back though, those crows won;t get the better of me...

Been in this general vicinity a couple of times before, so it was good to close the book on this area.
Found the cache easily despite the flow of muggles on the path. I went across the path to sign the log then had difficulty in find the hiding spot to return the cache. Like finding the cache twice! Found the spot and returned it safely.

On way home from work on a very wet day. No pen sorry but its a great hide. Took a little while but I eventually found it. Your right joonsboys they are all stripey. TFTC
Pretty quick park & grab. Dodged cyclists on the blind bend to find cache.
All well with cache. Thanks skibeagle163.

After an exhausting flight, running some deliveries and thinking about heading home from Redcliffe, Nyssaflutterby called me and asked how I felt about grabbing some caches near Chermside. Well.. why not? Next thing I know we were headed for this cache having parked near the lapidary club who looked to be having a hell of a Friday night. With only lame and sad torches we followed the iPhone (a certain Captain didn't have a PQ for this far south) and soon spotted what we had to search. This was going to be annoying. I went with the clean sweep method and was but inches from Nyssa when she spotted the beast some minutes later. No crows about tonight, but found the stones and the cache. TFTC skibeagle163
I had to come out this way this evening and had a few hours to kill while waiting to pick up friends, so what else is there to do to occupy one's self? Hmmmm, LET'S GO CACHING! Now normally I am highly scared of the dark, shhh don't tell anyone, but my crazy obsession with having to find small containers takes over and the dark is really not all that scary. To ease my night time scaries however I was lucky to be joined by the Captain of Terror, I'm sure there isn't anything I could find in the dark that could be scarier than him
Off we skipped to find ourselves a cache, past the lapidarists who looked like the were spending an exciting friday night in, cutting and polishing. We arrived at GZ and my first thought was URGH! No, really? ARGH! A wall! In the dark I knew this was going to be a mission. We both spread out and started methodically searching. AFter a while I was having no luck, so thought I would try and get as close as possible to GZ, that magic 0. I found the spot and started searching. And what do you know? I pretty much found it straight away. Great coords We signed the log, replaced as found and headed off into the night to find our next cache.

Found with stairman1. I was thinking about Alf Stewart from Home and Away as we were walking to this cache . There were no crows but there were certainly lots of stones. After a quick look stairman1 found the container. Love these containers. Signed our names then headed off to the next one. Thanks skibeagle 163.
