Having just been to the station I wasn't sure how to get across the railway line. An option appeared and I made my way down to the cemetery. Parked the geomobile and began to walk to GZ.I'm not sure who was most surprised, the muggle who walked out of the bush with her fur babies one on an afternoon walk and one being carried, or me as I had not expected to meet anyone. She said hello and promptly walked off very quickly. I made my way to GZ for a quick find. TFTC # 5990
Another lovely little cemetery here. Cache quickly found at GZ and all in good condition. Thanks, The Bushies!
Just out for the day drive quick find and sign placed back where it belong TFTC
Found It!
Almost missed the road into this one. But a quick find once I got to GZ.

**This Cache:**
After approaching from the wrong side of the railway tracks, we crossed a bridge and headed back to yet another cemetery cache! Enjoyed exploring this one too, and the cache was a very quick find. It was actually laying in the open completely exposed a few metres away from the "many forked" tree. So after signing it was replaced back as intended!
Thanks Bushies

**Today:**
Myself and DSD had the day off work so we decided to head up to the Southern Highlands for some numbers. Caching has been pretty focused recently so it was time to just clear out some of the hundreds of park & grabs in this area after driving past them on many occasions in the past! There was a few other quick and interesting types thrown in the mix too, but no strenuous terrain today for once! It was a cruisy day, visited some locations I hadn't been too in the past, and also had to change a few plans due to flooded crossings! Extremely wet and damp everywhere we went after the past week of rain!
Thanks to all the CO's for creating an adventure for us!

I think the ghosts were playing with our navigation, but then it came right and we made the find.
Found 25/08/19. Saw the cache on approach, replaced ot with a bit of camo to make it look like it wasnt litter, easy grab in a nice peaceful place, well out of the way though.
Gotta love a cemetery cache
And after this stroll of the really olde stones,
the cache came out of hiding after a fight with the shrubberies
TFTC down Penrose way !! [^]

After a busy December / January, we decided a trip to the highlands was in order. So after an early start, with Rapidlywild doing the driving honours we headed up the highway. A bit of rain made it quite pleasant, and the sun brought a bit of humidity, but it was a great day. We grabbed a couple of the trails, and was surprised on containers, some took a bit longer to locate than others. Thanks RW for a great day, and thanks to all the CO for the placements, we enjoyed collecting them.
Thanks The Bushies

We'd spent the night in Sydney over the Queen's Birthday long weekend, and were headed home to Canberra. Since we left so early, we decided to make a detour off the highway to find a few caches. We had a nice time, there were hardly any cars around, and no muggles to be seen.
This was the only one we had trouble with. We had to rely on our phones today, but until now had no issues. For some reason they just wouldn't settle, jumping from 7m, to 24m, to 5m, to 34m. Finally we gave up on the phones and used the hint instead! Success! Took nothing, left something small. TFTC!

Having spent a nervous week waiting for results of my sister who is in hospital in Qld I've struck out to get a few caches and clear my head.
The day started out beautiful and clear but has come over a little cloudy. Hopefully rain will hold off as I make my way towards the coast.
This really is a bush town complete with multigenerational cemetary, dirt roads and potholes you lose your car in for a week. My gps led me astray without narrowing more that 24m so I reverted to the clue and found the cache relatively quickly.

My wife and I met up with bikerbuddy and Toriaz and had a day together in the Southern Highlands. This was our twenty first cache.
My GPS took us the short direct route to GZ, but then up a rougher parallel back round at the last turn. But, we still arrived well before bikerbuddy and Toriaz!
A nice quick find as we continued our search for lunch.

This cache taught us to never put faith in inanimate objects. Even if our path ended up being longer than necessary, we did make it eventually.
Thanks

We'd just found another cache down the road and were heading off to this one. My GPS wanted us to turn right and re-cross the tracks. I didn't check, figuring we would need to be across the other side of the rail line. Meanwhile, Canary wanted to turn left, instead. I pointed out that my GPS didn't agree, but he insisted he was going his way and we could go ours and we'd see who got there first. I allowed him to go with a doubtfully raised eyebrow, in the way parents will allow children to step into steel traps, just to teach them a lesson. Only, the stupid GPS was leading us astray. It guided us across the other side of the tracks and up the parallel road, past the cache, only to make us turn back across the railway further on, and return to it. We could have followed Canary along the road and I wouldn't have been forced to thrash my GPS with a stick when we got home to teach it a valuable lesson. It may have helped us find the cache in the end. But that is not the point. A thrashing it had to be. Thanks

Staying in Bundanoon for the Australian Mountain Bike Orienteering Champs at Wingello.
Nice easy find.
Down this way to check out the Belanglo, Wingelo & Penrose State Forest camping areas. Belanglo & Wingelo are good, Penrose, not really.

Quickly ran in grabbed the cache and out again while having a quick work break in Penrose. Sneakily Flying solo without my partner in crime Keno7! TFTC
Last cache for the day. An interesting cemetery. The headstones are spread out, just like the village. TFTC.
We love cemeteries. And this is no exception. A very quiet and peaceful place. Thanks, Bushies, for taking us to so many great secluded spots in the area we never would have known about if not for your efforts. I swapped Tankengine's path tag for one of mine.
Out to visit a venue in the southern highlands so a few caches to find as well.
Another interesting old Cemetery. I always find them interesting, surprisingly.

After a big night last night at the Wingello event location, we headed off to do a few caches along the way to the Fitzroy Falls. Love these LJKA caches and we know someone - mainly Mary from maccamob that would be drooling at all of these wonderful full of history sites.
Thanks The Bushies.

Having just come from the recent M&G in Wingello State Forest, we decided to do a few caches on our way back to Sydney. OCW Aries44 and delloro.
This was #1 and the first of a few we found in cemeteries! Very peaceful here of course, but I wasn't ready to make this my LKA just yet! TFTC. [xx(]

Once almost at GZ and the area looking familiar, wondered if I’d done this LKA before however the hide itself (and suburb) was different so another smilie added to the tally. Day heating up and the huge flies are becoming more annoying so glad to be out of there as soon as logging duties completed.
Today I score the day off,so it was caching time for me )
I starting not far past Fitzroy falls, working my way across to Wingello, over to the Hume, back up to the Illawarra hwy then finishing at Mossvale.
Once underway I was in the zone,It was one of those days when everything just fell into place,
I managed to find all the caches I had in my sights with no DNFs plus picked up a few extras on the side ,A total of 38,my best day yet!,37 Traditions and I squeezed in 1 multi along the way,not a bad days effort.
Thanks to all the COs for such an awesome day, every cache I found was in great condition

#824 Ninteenth of twenty four finds on a beautiful Sunday's caching around the Southern Highlands. Nice quick find after a short search. TFTC
I haven't been geocaching for a while due to one thing or another, so Finalf29 decided to get me out and about and clear my head. It was the best thing for me...beautiful day, always excellent company and I'm in a much better positive space. Got fourteen today, I love geocaching!
This was my sixth for the day. Beautiful cemetery...the gum trees are spectacular, but a little unsure why the graves are so spread out in little groups. Lost Finalk29 to a little tombstone reading and then on our way. Thanks

Our second find in the LKA serias around these parts. Cemeteries are usually muggle free (unless there's a burial in progress). Muggle free today too.
I always love these dead centre of town caches, and the muggles never complain about me disturbing their peace and quiet.
A peaceful bush cemetary. Unsure where it was coming from, but classical music played nearby. I wasn't the only one who could hear it . The cache was easily spotted in its hiding spot, rehid with more natural camo. We paid out respects to some of the residents before moving on. Tnsl Tftc The Bushies xo
Loved this cache I have a soft spot for Caches with worn tracks that go straight to the location of the hidden cache hehe. Log is very waterlogged just a heads up!
Great another one in the great LKA series found. A well maintained location.
Found with womble1958 on an Australia day drive around this beautiful part of the country. Thanks Bushies for yet another great location.

I found this cache as a joint part of “Team” *Throsbyonchurch* and in which name the log book was signed. I now have my own account as I’m old enough to cache myself, so I am claiming a fair share of my earlier finds. As I had no caching name at the time there's no log in the book for me but I’m claiming the find under team ToC. Thank you for the hide.
Slow but an easy find. SL. Thanks for the hide. Last cache for today at near to 7pm, so better head home for dinner and put the geokids to bed.
Out doing some maintenance on some caches, this being one.
New container, log and swaps.
recovered it so as not to be seen.
All good now.
Veeeeeeeery soggy log. Managed to engrave my find onto it. TFTC but will need a little TLC
This is a beautiful and peaceful place. Another of the LKA series by The Bushies.

Sorry to say the log book and contents were very wet. We dried it out a little but the log book needs some love and care.
