I tried really hard to find it, but it remained elusive. So many poles checked, a DNF for me today
But I did climb the big rock, found an apple tree in the reserve, picked two cooking apples, so had stewed apple for breakfast for the next few days. Walked Brighton beach, but sadly the tide was too high, so unable to visit the Island. A favourite non-find

Took a quiet stroll up from the surf lifesaving clubrooms to get this. The lid of the container looks like it has been missing for some time. The zip lock bag seems to be still intact, but the log sheet is very damp and fragile. Could benefit from a visit by the CO. TFTC

Pushed ahead while the rest of the Wednesday Walkers were negotiating the rocks on the beach. Started looking in what was, to me, the obvious spot and then had to enlarge my search space.
Container is rusty and the lid is missing, so log is damp and likely to get seriously wet as winter sets in.

For a few days we are in Brighton. Our first way lead to this rock, because we stay here 200 m. Quick found.

Out with granddaughter, Redco5, today visiting a bit of the country we haven't been before.
We went for a wee wander along the walkway to this one.
Cheers for the cache.

NEEDS MAINTENANCE! found it. nice easy roadside and the climb up big rock gives some awesome views. definitely needs a new log book and tin.
A morning walk to get this one then a drive up the road that I walked for 8 years to and from school. I am certain it was a lot steeper those years ago. It hasn't changed all the much.
Had the day off for a specialist appointment this morning so planned a bit of caching for the afternoon to fill in the day it was a great view from up here today of the beach. It is very quiet with people at work and kids at school. TFTC

škoda, že není nic vidět, městečko zahalila tajemná mlha... jinak by byl odtud asi pěkný výhled

I've been meaning to get this one for a heck of a long time and today I gave myself 3 hours to get out to the airport for a pickup. What a lovely day and views. No need to rush.
Nice quick find. First cache in Dunedin. Log was in an open pouch so I added a ziplock bag to keep the log dry.TFTC
My first find ever! it took me a while to see where it was because its dark green
Parked at the surf club and wandered up for some great views and a nice quick find. The cache description is very interesting so thanks a lot for that. TFTC #9866
We stayed the night in Brighton, so we had to find a cache here in the morning. We parked our camper van in the drive of the nearest house, but the kiwi living there said it wasn't a problem as we wanted to continue our trip a few minutes later.
Easy find, nice view. Thanks for that!

First time on South Island of NZ. Second find in NZ ever!!! No pen with me though
Never mind the horrendous (and unpredictable) weather - the views here are fab! thanks, team!
I was in the area so I decided to knock off this cache in the early morning. Having no satellite map I figured best access would be from below, however reading the description told me otherwise. I hastily backtracked and went for a slightly longer walk than planned - given all was nice and calm, it was no bad thing. Found the cache with no problems once I actually got to GZ. Cheers!
Enjoying a great holiday down Otago with tmann421. After several days of cold, windy and wet weather it was great to wake this morning to a beautiful, sunny day.
A nice quick find for us here. TFTC

Found by K. Lovely views of Brighton Beach. Drive past here quite often and J & R are always wanting to explore the Big Rock so today they finally got to do so. TFTC
Great views of this gorgeous beach from GZ. Quick find thanks to good hint. TFTC

I'm currently hitchhiking my way around the world and geocaching everywhere I go. My first stop was in Ireland where I spent a couple weeks touring the country. I then flew to London and spent a couple weeks touring the United Kingdom. From there I made my way through the tunnel and up to Amsterdam and then back down to Belgium. After that I headed for France. Then from there I headed to Portugal for a mega event that was happening. After that I headed for Denmark to attend another Mega event. I then made my way North into Sweden and then even further North to Norway. After that I proceeded to work my way back down South through Finland and then ferry hopped my way through a few of the islands to arrive back in Sweden. Next I made my way to Germany for another Mega event and then back to the Netherlands for still another mega event before heading for Luxembourg. After that the next stop along my journey was Switzerland. I then made a quick detour up to Belgium to grab a July 2000 geocache I had overlooked before making my way to Croatia passing through Austria and Slovenia along the way. After that my route took me East to Serbia and then through Romania into Moldova. I then couldn't resist going North and crossing into the Ukraine. After that I began heading South passing through Romania once again. I then passed through Bulgaria as I raced for Turkey in order to catch a flight to Australia timing it so that I could attend a mega event happening there. After that I made an extensive 2 month tour through all 8 states of Australia before flying over to the North Island of New Zealand. I then gradually worked my way south to Wellington and took the ferry over to the South Island. I then continued hitchhiking my way around the South Island via Blenheim, Murchison, Spring Junction, Leithfield Beach, the bypass around Christchurch to Ashburton, Dunedin, Brighton, Bluff, Queenstown, Danseys Pass, and then Christchurch airport.
Thank you so much for placing this geocache!

Out for a sunday drive today. The surf club a good place to park and walk the dogs along the path and then onward for an ice cream at the shop. Thank you
After turning up as the local event finished, decided to not waste the trip and so took a short walk up to grab this cache.
Lovely views but too cold to stand around.

Enjoyed the second day in a row of nice weather caching in the Brighton area. TFTC and thanks for taking us to the Big Rock, where we usually just drive past. had a nice exploring around.
