US14 ET Highway Trip with Sol de Lune and Mtrax. Day 22. Time to cross a few more US states of the list for Caching, starting in Casper, Wyoming. Today we set off from Rapid City to go North to get to North Dakota. A travel day, but a high priority on caching. We saw quite a few small towns along the way and got to explore a lot of out of the way spots. Thanks.

a short detour enroute north.. found quickly.. thanks
Heading north from Rapid City via Sturgis and Spearfish heading to North Dakota ending up in a small town call Belfield

Our main aim was to visit and geocache in a few more US States.

Greetings from Canberra Australia.
Logged as "SAM" which is a team of three Sol De Lune, Albida33 and Mtrax. Visiting the US as a team for the 2nd time, our mission to complete the ET series but before and after do some more exploring and geocaching along the way. Our tour starts around Barstow and a few days in Las Vegas before caching over to 29 Palms before hitting the ET Highway straying at Rachel and Tonapah.
Our second stage of our trip saw us doing a loop around Wyoming, Nebraska, South & Nth Dakota and Montana before finishing back in Los Angles, our finds for the trip totalled well over 4,000 geocaches.

Quick stop here on the way back to Rapid City from the meet n greet in Bismarck. I do think the difficulty on this one would be higher with deep snow. We were lucky some melting was going on. SL. TFTC!

October Road Trip 2013
I had five days off of work and decided to head west on a road trip to try and finish up some challenge caches that I have been working on. I left Minnesota to drive to western Nodak, up into Saskatchewan, looped through Montana, heading home through Sodak, and finished up in Minnesota again. It was a fun trip by myself. I ended up with 2751 new miles on the car and caching in 67 different counties and 70 different DeLorme pages. Thanks to all the cache hiders that made this a possibility, especially in the desolate areas of North and South Dakota.

This was a nice people garden. It took a little bit to find the goods in the dark and scratchy situtation I found myself in, but I was determined. Time to fill up with fuel and coffee and start heading east again along Hwy 212.
