Searched in location nothing found with specific hints. Recent flooding may have been a trend in the past and cache is gone. With Wonder Wits. Nice spot though!
Second cache attempted today as we leave Paranella Park and head to Tully. Second cache today not found but a nice spot to stop for lunch. Thanks.
Stopped here as part of the FNQ Wilderness MTB ride. Lovely spot, others have already mentioned the current issues with the cache/location
We visited GZ this afternoon and even though there were three young ladies enjoying a picnic on the nearby lawns we were able to park the Geomobile so that Geohubby was able to make a fairly thorough search of the area.
Even with the very clear hint he wasn't able to find the cache. There appears to be some new work at the back....not sure if that has caused the cache to go missing but just hoping that hubby hadn't cleaned his caching goggles recently which caused him to miss it
We shall watch this one with interest. Thanks anyway Ballbag&Bumblebee[^]

No luck for us today.
As it was early we thought we'll have breakfast and try again, maybe a bit of food will help us focus better.
Unfortunately that didn't help and we still couldn't find it.
We loved the area so we might camp here one day in the future and have another go then.

Another perfect winter day for a drive around the area while in Innisfail.
I went for a drive with Fred6603 on a tourist trip with some bonus caching.

Took the old road this time.
A most welcome stop here, sugar cane up close and a few other visitors in the little park
Cache log is hard to write on, just managed to get our names there.

Catching up on our logs. Spent a weekend in Cairns for geoP birthday and to do some caching while catching up with friends.
This one we found on our way up. Wanting to stop for dinner we located it very quickly at GZ. However a few muggles camped nearby. A couple pretend visits to the ladies toilet did the trick. cache container is in great condition. tftc sl tnln

9:44:00 AM. Nice quick driveby. No camping here anymore if sign is to be believed. Looks like someone altered it with red paint. Signed log and returned to where found. Thanks Ballbag&Bumblebee for placing this cache.
Campers and swimmers nearby but I was able to extract and replace cache without them noticing. TFTC Ballbag&Bumblebee.
On our [trip around the world](http://www.hoppundweg.piekar.de/) we came to Australia as well. We started in Tasmania, rented a campervan in Melbourne and went up the Eastcoast to Cairns. Then we drove all the way to the Red Centre. We finished in Darwin. We searched many caches and found almost every cache we searched for . Thanks to all the owners of these caches. Now, 2 years later, we recognized, we will never be able to log every cache seperately... So: Sorry for this standard logtext and thanks for one of the caches, which accompanied us on our journey.
Great cache and location! Log was difficult to remove but I got it out eventually. SL TFTC
So many people here! Was hard to be stealthy sneaking around a toilet block with people still half cut from New Years Eve. Nevertheless, cache was retrieved, log signed & re hidden.
It's probably a nice spot sometimes... Thanks for the ninja training!

A nice find while on the way to Cairns. We diverted off Bruce Highway onto this road to visit Paronella Park and obviously do some caches.
We parked near GZ and walked on over. There were a few muggles having a picnic nearby, but luckily they were obscured from view because of their car.
I made the find fairly quickly, and brought the cache back to sign. The logbook is extremely difficult to get out: we were fiddling around with it for 20 minutes. Luckily one of my travel bugs had a pin attached so I could lever the logbook out. This might need fixing.
Our thanks to Ballbag&Bumblebee and greetings from Canberra!

This is a pleasant spot, made the non magnetic find but could not extract log either with needle nose pliers or tweezers.
Note for you caravanners and other would be campers, this spot has quite specific and newish looking 'No Camping' signs which is a pity as it would be good with the flushing loos.
Agaain, cache found on the ground directly below the hide. No magnet inside it. Hid just inside the hiding spot as described previous log. Needs maintenance. Tftc. Canadian microgeocoin visited.
another stop on the 'Old Highway'
took a bit longer to find
wasn't exactly where I believe it should have been [?]
so I used the clue ... and eventually spotted it on the ground nearby ... luckily
it didn't want to sit where the clue described - and not sure why [?]
so I tucked it in at the base
... well it should be easier to spot for the next cachers
cheers

After our day at the footy was over we just had to grab a few more caches. Found this one with a bit of stealth as there were a few muggles nearby. Our second find of this type of container today. TFTC

Bumblebee went out on a solo maintenance run today and finally fixed this one up. We believe that an interfering muggle has decided to play games with this cache and has removed it (on more than one occasion) from its hide at the listed coordinates, to the location where everyone has been finding it. We have NOT been happy about this and have included instructions in the clue for those that find it missing from its new hiding spot coordinates.
We hope everyone has fun with this new cache. Just remember that everything is not always as it appears to be on first glance. It would be appreciated that this cache be returned to it exact hiding spot (check the clue if not sure), as it is out of the way of clear view.
Happy caching,
B&B

Found this one after reading recent logs, GZ had us in toilet block but cache is not there, using some ingenuity of likely hiding spots we located it. There is also a no camping sign now at this stunning spot, what a shame but dinner and a wee rest will suffice!
Have a pretty good idea where the hiding spot is but there was just far to many muggles here on a public holiday. HoHum back another day.

[green]Leaving Millaa Millaa today to head to the coast again and back south, stopped here to grab a cache and check the views and the drive through the range was amazing.
Stopped at Paronella park tourist trap and then continued on to here, we found the cache under the suspicious eyes of a muggle picnicing family and managed to sign log but when it came to putting it back they were watching us with eagle eyes.
Told Jacki we needed a diversion so I could put it back so we went down to where the muggles were and pretended to take photos of the river, the muggle kids were swimming in the river and I noticed a dead animal floating around in the water near them, when I pointed it out to them, total screaming panic ensued. The dead animal was just going around in circles in the eddy current, YUK, Gross, but HILLARIOUS. Eventually they got a stick and managed to push it down stream and away. I could not have dreamed up a better diversion if I tried, LMAO.
Managed to place cache container back unnoticed. [/green]

On a wet dreary day no one else was here. The co-ords had me closer to a different structure and only finding half a dinosaur decided to expand my search and soon had the cache, not quite in plain sight but I believe it is missing some of it's bit's. SL TFTC
13.00 - Enjoyed 2 days R&R with friends in Wongaling Beach. Couldn't help to do some caching on the way home. Found this little treasure with muggles in the river. They were busy with themselves and all should be good. Coords a lil off. 2/8 today. T4TC.
Not quite where the coordinates took me, but still found, ksheather with Brahms6. Tftc
WAY too many muggles visiting this lovely spot for us to mount a search for this one today. TFTH.

When we arrived a family was all swimming in the river and looked very comfortable.
At GZ I found the cache laying on the ground under the table.
I noticed it as I have seen this type of cache before.
It seems the magnets have come off and are stuck somehwere on the structure.
I signed the log and rehid it up on top of the pilons holding the roof up.
Hopefully it won't fall from there but it definitely needs some new magnets.
Cheers and happy caching.

Had to do a quick run from Townsville to Ravenshoe for work so thought I'd snap up a few caches on the way. Not a muggle in sight due to the torrential rain. It would seem going by the logbook that I am shadowing a couple of Townsville cachers that I know.

Ok coords are out by 20 meters the cache is not in the toilet block but on the next structure. Once we found the structure the cache was soon seen. Luckily mugglers left a min before we got there. There were a lot of mugglers swimming however cache was found and replaced without anyone knowing any better. Lovely location. TFTC

# 725 The Monkeys and Champs have never been Campers, but with boss lady working up to Christmas and a severe lack of caches to find in the immediate area, it was decided to go for the first of what will likely become a regular C+2M CampCaching Expedition. With tent and three bikes in the back, we travel when and where we like and find food (or McSubstitute) where we can.
Day 4/4Cache 45/47
After smashing my phone yesterday, we skipped a lot of caches to get to Telstra in Cairns to get a replacement. After being stuffed around, the only option was to head home.
Great little park with a number of families swimming. Once you work out2 it's not at the toilets, it's an easy find

No luck with this one today, it was so hot and I looked as best I could with the muggles around. I would have liked to search a few other spots but the muggles were in for the long haul.
Found by Val of Danielc team. We drove in to find a road work man sitting beside his ute. I don't know actually what he was doing, but it looked an easy job. Anyway Val spotted the cache, so while his back was turned I grabbed the cache. After signing it we had to wait for an opportunity to return cache. Then when all was good we drove off to the next one. TFTC. Cheers and Good Hunting, Dan
We also found that the coords were way out at this one.
After searching the loo's high and low, and almost disrupting some wasp's we read the other logs and headed off to where we eventually found the cache.
Was a good hide at that too.

Upon our arrival, our GPS also indicated a hide closer to the ablution block. It was only when we expanded our search area did the well placed cache container reveal itself.
With the log signed and the cache replaced, we were off to visit the metropolis of Silkwood.

Arriving at the place my GPS showed some two metres besides the toilet block. I gave it a very intense search. I didn't dare search inside the toilets though.
I should have read the previous logs and looked further away from the listed co-ordinates.

Fab spot. The iPhone was leading towards the amenities block which created a bit of suspicion as I loitered around the building. but after reading a previous log, I soon realised where the cache was n it was quickly in hand. SL
Lucky as I am, there were some muggles about. One guy having a break right where I needed to be, a young couple enjoying the creek and some grey nomads that had their table and chairs positioned so that they were looking right at GZ. The guy left after a while, so I took his spot and had lunch within reach of the cache. The young couple was busy having fun and eventually Mr grey nomad needed to use the amenities and Mrs nomad decided to do something in the caravan. I grabbed my chance - retrieved, signed, replaced - and finishing off my lunch as if nothing happened when they both reappeared.

9416 kms travelled in 21 days, one awesome eclipse observed near Mt Carbine in Northern Queensland and 712 cache finds, including a small handle of FTF's.
This was a trip I'd been planning for over 12 months with the main reason being to observe the solar eclipse on the morning of the 14th of November. I had decided to drive to Palm Cove and back, where my penthouse accommodation was located, while the rest of the family flew up and back. I love the drive and the unknown adventures that lay ahead; and I even think the last time I did one this big may have been for the previous eclipse in Australia which occurred over SA.
Apart from the great experiences, awesome scenery, and the characters met, the other reason to drive was to also do some serious caching, with the plan to stop at some power trails along the way including the Fruit Run and A.S. series near Stanthorpe on the way up and the Mid North Coast Wander series, just out of Port Macquarie, on the way back.
I had five days to travel each way with ten days in between spent in Palm Cove holidaying with my family. My route up took me from Melbourne to Tocumwal and up to Glenn Innes, through Toowoomba, Rockhampton and the coast road to Cairns while my route back was a bit more erratic. Heading from Cairns to Townsville then via Charters Towers to Rockhampton. From here it was through the amazing mining region to Roma then across to Dalby down through Stanthorpe (again) to Armidale, Port Macquarie, Wagga Wagga, Tocumwal and then home - phew.
Today I made my way from Rockhampton to my camp site about 10km south of Mena Creek, just out of Innisfail. Only 11 caches for the day but I did manage to travel over 950 km.
First of all I give a favourite piont here for two reasons; the *FTF* I got and also the magnificent spot this turned out to be to stay the night. I arrived just after midnight and good timing too as I was busting for the loo. What do I find but a brand new toilet block ready to go - sweet. Once I was done I looked for the cache and had it quick smart - blank log book and all - yipee. It wasn't until I got up the next morning that I could see the great spot I was in. With the bubbling stream next to where I parked and the views to the mountains, it was fantastic. And even the drive back out to Innisfail was great. Thanks for bringing me here.

A perfect spot for two reasons, a lovely place to crash in the car the night beside the stream before finally reaching Cairns from Melbourne and a FTF for the cache that brought me here. Full log to follow.
