Gps told me I was right on top of it but also no luck. Broader search also failed to turn it up perhaps next time!
After having a big day out caching through Northbrook gorge, http://coord.info/GC6A698, we made our way home.
The CO of this cache wanted to check it out and I did not complain as it is another find.
It took us awhile to find it.
Thanks for the cache,
Got to love those Lomandra bushes.

# 1230 - Out for the day with Wombles & Co, who was originally going to do some searching on her bike, but when I got the message I decided I would be in on the search and brought my wheels (all four of them .
After an earlier search with negative results the CO came out to check on the cache. It was confirmed that we had been looking in the correct place, but the cache had disappeared. We were kindly allowed to log this is a find, as we were in the correct spot. Thank you so much for all your efforts in placing, maintaining and for your help.

Looked for this one today - unable to locate quickly - Temporarily disabling this one until a re-check. Stay tuned
Found while out and about with Dutchie1950 today, after meeting the CO earlier.
Well it took a call to CO and a little bit of bottle feeding, but I finally managed to locate the darn thing after three visits. Turns out there is quite a bit of discrepancy in accuracy between iPhones and conventional hand-held gps's. I should have expanded my search area just a little more the first two times. TFTC SP.

A severe relapse of cache blindness today as I am 2 for 4. Oh well, maybe another day. Thx SP
Nice and safe under the prickly hide.
It has, however, suffered a soaking at some point. The original log was soaked and no longer usable. I made sure that the bag was resealed on the replacement so it stays dry. I did remove 2 swaps that were not too tolerant of water and relocated them to a bin as they had deteriorated and would not be nice to find soon.
All clipped up and upright and back in hidey hole.

Original log appears to have gotten damp, thanks for the replacement whoever did that. Reseal those bags carefully! Not a good spot for swaps that can get water damaged. Found 5/3/15
In the area for some caching fun and this was on my list. I soon arrived at GZ but it took a little bit of catching around to find it. Unfortunately it was on its side and must have taken in some of the rain! I replaced the log but I think the CO will need to clean this out a bit. Thanks LJCC aka SlowPuncture for showing me another nice bit of Narrangba.
Find #1458
After finishing the nearby Ooooo Shiny Trail in quick time we thought we'd squeeze in a few more smilies before heading back towards Brisbane for a well deserved lunch.
A nice quick find in a nice little park.

This one took a little longer then expected. I guided Azzzz towards the cache, or least I thought I was, turns out the map had streets that didn't exist yet! We had to go all the way out and around to GZ, and the actual search took a while too! When I finally spotted it I could have said I looked there before! Haha, smaller container then the others but still a decent size. TFTC! Took a shortcut back to the car.
Whatever map we were using was from the future. We ended up looking for streets that didn't exist when trying to get to GZ!
Once we got there, I stuck my hand in a very dark place, hoping it would be worth it. That wasn't the spot, but fortunately, my hand came out in one piece.
Sezzz found this one, and had a seat on a nearby rock, and got it signed.

My three month Brisbane adventure has started. Day 21, Redcliffe, seventh full day.
No 8 of 30 today. Thanks, Slow Puncture (LJCC). Nice park!! There was even a stream today. The dogs and I found the cache, and wandered around the park for a while. We even admired the lake.

Out and about in the Narangba area today to grab a few caches in the rain. A short search and the cache was soon in hand.
Once the log was signed all was returned as found.

NRN: Out and about today just me and Suzi. Got a milestone coming up and I wanted to sort out the mess on my map around here - stars aligned and here I am.
Took a few false attempts before unearthing this one - not sure how I missed it the first two times I looked there. Lovely quiet park in the early morning sunshine.
Thanks for placing this cache, LJCC. Found in good condition.

The “other thing” I discovered in this park, caused by the rain, is sludge. My nice clean sandshoes are now a muddy mess, which probably could have been lessened if I’d cut through the garden from the car instead of down a path and jumping across the muddy stream coming out of the drain. Quick find but I hate these spikey plants, almost as much as I hate mud.
Are in the Holiday Heer in australien. We from switzerland and Hobby Catcher ) have found good Cache.Thank you.
Staying with friend in Burpengary and happy to see lots of caches in the locality. Nice one. We found the cache after a short search.[^][^] Thanks to Team LJCC.
Got it but stealth was needed as the the young love birds kept an eye on us from the seat

Used our ninja skills to "sit down and relax" close to cache hidy spot so we didn't look strange haha. :') there was a couple sitting on the sits close by. We did it!! ^-^ tftc!
Found on a quick trip up to Brisbane. It was great to stop and check out this lovely park. Nicely hidden, TFTC
Well it was our first time geocaching today. The kids were so excited we even stopped for a picnic dinner..and we found it woop woop thanku
Had to use a bit of stealth here as there were muggles sleeping it seemed at the picnic table nearby. At GZ the cache was lying out in the open so we replaced a bit more discretely after signing the log. All good with the container and log.

Ha, over thought this one for a minute or two. Thanks for the cache and Thanks for bringing us to this little park! )
Legged it up on a coffee run from work. Had to go in the complete opposite direction but, who cares!! Lol. TFTC! Going to move your trackables on!!
Took a while to find but finally got there. Had to keep an eye on a long lanky teenager who appeared to be hiding in the bush nearby. He might not have been up to anything but it did look a bit suspicious.

Now that Marco and I have both secured employment, we are back to caching on weekends. So we headed out today to find a few more south of where we live. This was a quick find for us and the cache seemed to be a bit exposed, so we tried to hide it a bit better. TNLNSL TFTC
Bit of a search owing to GPS playing up. Parking a bit of a pain too. Nice quiet (until the cattle train arrived!!!) park. TFTC
After spending the night caching with [purple]Nyssaflutterby[/purple], [maroon]Net88 [/maroon]and [navy]Captain Terror,[/navy] [navy]The Captain[/navy] and [purple]Nyss[/purple] decided to head home around midnight.
Since [maroon]Net88 [/maroon]and I were still keen to keep going, we continued on through till late morning clearing the area.

I had been caching since 9:30am with Nyssaflutterby, when we met up with Captain Terror after lunch. Around 2:30 Nyssa needed to go and pick up the kids from school so it was just the Captain and myself. At 9pm we met back up with Nyssa and we were also joined by egginthesky. At 12:30am Nyssa and the Captain decided it was time to head home so egginthesky and i decided to head north and clean up some more caches . We pulled up at possibly the wrong way in for this one and a muggle nearby was leaving for work. He took a good stare at us and drove off. When we were signing the log he did another loop around the park. We quickly replaced the cache and got out of there before he could come back a third time. Thanks for the cache
A lovely area and all quiet today. A short hunt revealed the cache at an obvious feature. All in good condition. Thanks Team LJCC
What a great little park, as much as I dislike these new developments, they do put in quite a bit of effort into the landscaping, this was a great water feature with a great place to unwind.
As an added bonus it also has a cache [^].
Nice hide, thanks

What a pleasant little park this is - even if it is a rainy old day. I had a bit of a fossick at my GZ and didn't come up with anything.
I noticed in the logs that a finder found it 5m or so away - and then I soon had it in hand. With the log signed, and the cache hidden back away, I was off again
I have posted up the co-ordinates that worked for me today (on a rainy, overcast day, mind you!). TFTC Team LJCC

Out with teamdfl on another one of our mad Fridays. We had the co-ords off by about 5 metres, but dfl found the cache by widening the search area. TFTC, Team LJCC.
Definitely on "the right side of the tracks", but we had to be "under" a couple of times before we had our "eureka" moment.
A short walk from the parking spot and then I searched the obvious spot where the GPS indicated with no luck. I then read the previous logs and widened the search and I then soon had the cache.

Staying with friends nearby and went for a long walk which included a few caches. Took a couple of minutes but an easy enough find.
Out nice and early on the bike this morning before the traffic and the heat. Like a few other of the logs, l looked where my GPS said then widened the search. I was about 6m away from the co-ords, but still easy to find. TFTC
Searched the place many others had without success, widened the search and found all safe and sound.
thanks LJCC, took TB.
