Searched high, searched low, searched both sides of the structure for an hour. Eventually read past logs to put us on the right track. The cache was hidden too deep in its hidey hole to be seen. In the end a guess and a long stick retrieved the little blighter. Left it a bit closer to the edge for an easier future find. This cache was nearly lost forever we think. Thanks for the hide Newscat and thank goodness the paper wasps allowed us access.
Found at 11.13pm on a mad dash to get our cache for today. Being scared of wasps I thought near midnight was a good time for this cache. After reading the logs we strategically positioned the car so we could use the lights and quickly located the cache. Not so quickly retrieved it as we had dashed out without the caching bag. Some ingenuity on lumpyr's behalf and the log was found and signed. Tftc
Found this cache while doing a short stop over at the homestead. Nice cache. Thanks
This was our 6th cache find in the caching run & we found it at 13:17
So this now makes our total find count 6913.

Another wonderful day in Katherine. The cache raid today was a random start point followed by a string of caches selected, in most cases, by the "next closest" method.
A cache for cache sake. We didn't think this spot had any redeeming features whatsoever. [xx(]
[/blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Fair (Around 6 metres).
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks Newscat for the hunt today.

Garth who ?
And may I add, what a strange name for a song
It's a bit rude if you ask me
But who's asking ?
There is a cache at stake here !!!
I gracefully dismounted the bike in the shade provided by the hut that contains the electronics that run the boom gates and headed in
I ignored the GPS which showed GZ 10 metres the other side of the big lump 'o' concrete.
'Cos I knew the cache just had to be "IN THERE" [:o]
Wow !! Mud wasp central
I do not think I have ever seen so many mud wasp nests in one place before [:o]
They are completely harmless to humans, but would hurt a fly [^]
After searching the most likely spot and coming up with dusty red hands, I changed tack.
A previous searcher suggested standing back a bit.
So I did so.... gawd it's hot out here in the sun at midday !! [xx(]
Sure enough, after a couple of minutes, there was the cache looking back at me [:o]
It took another five minutes to get the blighter out of there !!
My magnetic wand finally did the trick, but more by brute force than any trick of magnetism
TFTC and visit to the new railway

Saw quite a few of the wasps flying around GZ. Mrs TiedyeSmileys then spotted the cache and bravely sent Mr Tiedyesmileys in for the collection. He made the quick grab and triumphantly turned back to Mrs TiedyeSmileys but then dropped the cache. Of course it couldn't have landed somewhere sensible like on the concrete but fell into long grass and rocks. Luckily Mrs TiedyeSmileys had watched it fall but even so, it was still extremely hard to spot. That could have been embarrassing (whoops, lost your cache .
A quick sign, then carefully replaced.

Found it!! Whilst walking around had some people looking at us and taking pics from the car!! Possible other caches
Cache found in the open on the ground so replaced in the most logical location given the attachments thereto. Paper Wasp nests abound here, recommend approach from western side so as to avoid nests as much as possible. I'm thinking that if this one wasn't out of place on the ground near GZ finding this cache would have been a bit of a pipe dream. TFTC
