Visiting family in Hamilton today...

We searched for somewhere to park and I walked back to the cache. I quickly spotted an oddity in the undergrowth… the cache. It was quite visible, though one could easily dismiss it as rubbish. The container was awesome… even the ants, cockroach and slug agree. This one was loaded with insect eggs. I decided to put this one back further into the thinning bushes. It is still easy to spot if you are looking for it. TFTP and TFTC.

Getting low on "near to home" caches so thought today I should find this one as it's been on my solved list for quite a while. Arriving at my chosen parking spot, I had a look at the paperwork with me and realized I didn't have the necessary number but risked that my memory was good enough. I am pleased that it was and I opened the cache signed the log replaced it carefully adding just a bit of camo, walked away and realized I had the pen from the cache in my hand so back into the cache replace pen replace a bit of camo and find the nearest big puddle to wash my hands. Thanks for the adventure.

Nice to be able to solve a "?" am hopeless at most of them, but this one was great. Cache well wrapped in it's new waterproofing, although seems to have disturbed an ants nest as was covered in them, only on the outside of waterproofing though.

14-Jul-13
Thanks MillsandLills, we visited the cache and added abit of waterproofing.

13-Jul-13
Excellent cache, great for trackables. Some of the hebes look a bit dead. The container does need a more waterproof wrapping.

10140... Now that is one Crackin' Combination Cache, like the concept, well done and many thanks on your first hide and a puzzle at that. Lots of Ants in residence, nothing a good shake couldn't fix. TFTC.

Interesting maths equation! GPS was 6m out for me, but soon had cache in hand.

A lovely puzzle, solved on publication but wasn't close enough to realistically join in the FTF race - sounds like it was hilarious, though! Parked far enough away today for mutt to have a reasonable walk, & then a nice straightforward grab for me, meaning both of us were happy. Smile Love the concept with this one, well done! TFTC

A fun little puzzle and a nicely little final. No problem with parking in the wee small hours of the morning. TFTPC

Stopped by at lunchtime today. Most impressed with the cache container and the mathmatical trick with the numbers. Looks like some ants were trying to set up a colony on the outside of the cache box but inside the plastic.
Many thanks

Took the more leasurily route, no FTF dash here, but still a rather enjoyable little puzzle that shows the magic of numbers off rather nicely, quite stroll down to the GZ with Sannu! Managed to complete the entire operation without a single muggle passing.

Great first up effort and I look forward to seeing more

Of course everyone knows Columbus discovered America in 1492. But this little puzzle has more to do with Mertens than Columbus. When solved it leads to a nice little walk (level - whatever C&D says) to a well concealed cache. Thanks for leading me to take this pleasant after-dinner evening stroll.

FTF #9
Didn't take too long to work out what was needed. Picked 2 numbers to make sure I was correct before I raced out. Parked up where I was told to and ran down to the cache. Meet two fellow cachers at GZ but they were still searching, so FTF was still up for grabs. Didn't take long to find the right hebe and claim the FTF. As I wasn't the first to GZ I offered to share the FTF, but I got to keep the FTF prize. Thanks BTW.
Thanks for the new cache, and great to meet a few more cachers.

Short time of searching with Skweak and then joined by HKCB who soon had cache in hand for an FTF. Nice to meet you HKCB.

Parked in a more off terrain location as given the time of night and no traffic made for a short walk.
Took a little while to find location, but HKCB joined the hunt and quickly had it in hand. Thanks for allowing a joint FTF :O)

A classic FTF race and one that is enjoyable when you actually dont know who is going to get there first. Saw this one as I climbed into bed and after a small discussion with the other half we both headed of to crack the cache.

Was talking on the way and decided that the only threat was going to be HCKB as he is crazy enough to get a cache any time of the night (previously meet him at 1:00am trying for a FTF).

Driving past GZ I saw a suspicious looking car parked in a very odd spot - the number plate just screamed geocacher. Decided that there was not going to be anyone around at this hour of the night I too pulled up closer to GZ than expected. Approaching GZ I hear a call that I had just missed the FTF by minutes.

Ended up having a good old chat about the up and coming event and future caches to be placed. Really good fun when a FTF race brings people together at the back of gardens at the middle of the night lol.

The cache container is very cool and a great puzzle to go along with it. Well done on your first cache placement.
