This cache seems to have gone. Looked in the hole under the R and there is nothing on the ground all-round nearby bushes for about 20 m either side and there's nothing so id it was still a green eclipse tinier seems to definitely be gone
Stopped on our way home from SA. Looked carefully but coul see no sign of a container. On checking for other confirming logs see that someone else has had the same problem today. Problably time for a CO check.
It has been over 3 years since the Oz Mega and now that the cache has gone it is time to archive like the Event.
We are on the road heading to Tasmania for 8 mths. Taking 4 weeks to get to the ferry in Melbourne as you can not rush because there are caches to find along the way. Nice to stop and find a cache or two. TNLN.. TFTC
FFFound on our way home from the fabulous Border Track weekend that was full of fun, friendship and 4WDing.
As we were driving towards GZ, we saw another car parked there. Oh damn - muggles. Of course it wasn't muggles at that spot - it was the Tritonz. After this we met up with the rest of the Border Crew in the Bakery at Bordertown, before going our separate ways home. TFTC OzFiresafe.

Stopped here in our way back to Mexico after a border track run. A nice quick find with a few other teams,
Thank you for placing and maintaining the cache.
Thank you for placing and maintaining the cache.
After an awesome weekend on the Border Track with great caching buddies, it was now time to head home and back to reality, but not before finding a few more caches along the way. With 2 other vehicles pulled along side the road we made quick work of finding, signing and returning the cache back to its hidey hole.
Thanks OzFiresafe for the placement.

Found on our way home from Clare, after our 3 week adventure caching in the outback. A quick find. TFTC
Oz Mega 2014 was not in Bordertown
It would have been great if it was
But we all know that little olde Murray Bridge won the contest !!
It is great to be constantly reminded of what was,
and will probably remain for a long time,
the best Oz Mega,
by this series of caches
Long may they live !!
As long as memories of Oz Mega 2014 hopefully

On a car trip to visit friends in Victoria before they move to Tassie. Have been past here a few times and finally made the stop to grab this one. TFTC
40c today and just made a 5hour return car trip. Very pleased to see this on approach for a thankfully quick find. Broke pen (possibly melted) but signed with the inner ink tube! Thanks for the cache! Merry Christmas.
Found at 1145. Found after stopping for an early lunch at a bakery come café come museum. TFTC.
Quick find - seemed a little obvious at GZ although I guess not too many muggles actually stop nearby. TFTC
Found this cache while we travelled from Murray Bridge to Nhill - had a great time at the Oz Mega back in 2014 ... T4TC:)
Out on a caching run with Mr Froghoppin,
seeing what we could find on a rainy stormy day.
Plenty of gaps in the clouds out here, and when it really
poured we'd plan our next attack !
Thankfully I found the real Ozmega two years ago!

A quick and easy drive by as we cache our way from Melbourne to Moonta. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
Man this one had me circling the GZ structure for about 4-5 mins before the "Border-booty" was finally found

Made an assumption of where it would be but nope not on any of them. Searched more thoroughly and finally found it. TFTC
Found on trip to Meningie, found my first cache in Bordertown some time back. TFTC
It took me a moment to find this at night. CP told me that it used to be in a different location on the sign and suggested I write in my log where it is now located:
The cache is on the ground pushed into the stone work under the R. The eclipse tin appears to be in good condition.
Day 3 of 3 - Found whilst on a road trip with CPwanderer and Locus Cache from Adelaide to Wedderburn, Victoria. The aim of the trip was to attend "A Day Out in Wedderburn 2016" all day caching event (TICK [^] ) and then enjoy the Evening Meal event (TICK [^] ).
During this weekend we found some fun and creative caches and caught up with our Victorian geofriends once again.
The funny one-liner comments flowed all weekend and my belly hurt from all of the laughter!! [:o)] [^].
Unfortunately we had a minor car accident Friday night whilst traveling to Wedderburn [B)] - lost control of the vehicle (fortunately we were traveling very slowly) and we got bogged on a wet and slippery Victorian country dirt road [xx(] ...ummmm.....at the time we may have been heading toward a possible gold which we missed , however we did eventually get out of the mud after a long wait and exchanging a fair bit of cash [:(!].
I LOVE geocaching [:X], but I HATE mud [:(!]!! LOL
Thanks for the cache

On a road trip from Melbourne to Adelaide and decided to find a motel to stay the night rather than risk driving further in the dark. I parked next to GZ and ended up doing quite a few laps of the wall before finally spotting the container. SL & replaced.

Dr Owl wanted to stop here for some reason, my name is in the logbook now so I can claim another find.
Thanks for the cache OzFiresafe.
Thanks for the cache OzFiresafe.
Heading home after a successful caching long weeekend, Owl and Sushilord stopped occasionally to collect caches that screamed "find me!" This one was harder than expected - especially when it was found. Just how hard is it to see a not-sneakily-hidden bright green eclipse tin anyway!
Greetings from Sunny Whyalla!
This one was lying on the ground behind the wall, so I signed the log and put it back in a crack - the only place that was slightly hidden - visible if you're close.

Yes, "Where is Oz Mega 2014 - Bordertown"!
I first headed to the writing, as that matched the hint, and my Garmin had GZ there. I thought it might be magnetic and checked behind that. I couldn't see it. So, I checked the vertical gap in the wall; then the hole underneath. Still couldn't find a cache. I also checked the nearest bush, about twelve metres away. This one beat me. A DNF!

A nice easy park and grab while on the way past. TFTC. 7/03/2016, 11:53 Find #1544
On way home from Uluru to Melbourne and found this on the way. Awesome cache. TFTC
Travelling south for work and stopped along the way to grab a few caches along the way and this was one of them.
After parking nearby and a short search the cache was soon in hand.
Once the log was signed all was returned as found.

This cache was found as part of a 28 hour caching odyssey around the Wimmera and Upper South East with TT016. A total of 670 km was covered in the trusty old GQ Patrol on the way to 93 cache finds. Caches collected included the Rusty Rail Series and This is SA puzzles, which were all found at night!
Great to finally be able to cross this one off the list

Out and about with &0thers heading home home after 2 months on the road. Calling in on these little towns along the way. Pulled over to check this out before we go to see the white kangaroos. Excellent hide here, thanks for the cache
Found this with xambo4u - before going to one of our favourite picnic spots beside the river & bakery. Thanks for the cache
Had us searching for a while, it's late in the day and we are on our way to to a cache event. Think our group eyes are tired TFTC

On our way through to Horsham this afternoon and we made this a not so quick park and grab, we were almost stumped with this one but there is only so many places you can hide a cache around the gz. With the two young geosons we searched the area but luckily I spotted the cache after a closer inspection. Thanks OzFiresafe for the cache.
#1840 Driving to Adelaide and looking to stretch the legs so appreciate a cache to add to the stop. Looked at the obvious places first but then changed tack and thankfully found it just as the rain started. Thanks OzFiresafe.
Found it with CherryRose on our way to Bordertown for two days of geo caching. Took a few moments to find but we were looking for a different type of cache. Glad to grab geo coin. TFTC SL
Found with Beary Organised it was her 100th find took awhille but worth it as we will be back in 10 weeks to do workshop at the Rural Womens Gathering. TFTC SL Took Geo Coin.

We were in the area heading to Mount Gambier, SA from Pinnaroo, SA. Pulled up to GZ making a quick find in between the muggles. Seeing the sign Bordertown meant we were that more closer to home. TFTC
Could not find the little bugger! Thought I checked behind every letter and all the bushes but came up with nothing
found while in the area for june long weekend. sorry for the delayed log and the generic logs.
Another Oz Mega checked off. I think we all know where Oz Mega was.
Cheers and thanks for the cache

On the way to Mystical Mundulla we naturally cached as well. With just me driving, I was keen for some stops to make sure I didn't get too stiff and didn't lose concentration. It worked well, except we left 2 hours later than planned so didn't actually do as many as we'd hoped. Perhaps more on the way back.
Out and about with TravellinBees and Chrispy.
We grab a few caches while we travelled together on the JLWE. TFTC

Maybe it will be Bordertown guess its as good as anywhere. Last cache of the day before heading to the camp grounds to set up my Tent for the weekend.
Sorry for the late log I have fallen a bit behind in logging.

Found on our way to our accommodation for the weekend. Was standing for a few seconds with gps in hand before realising where the cache was hidden. It should have been spotted straight away really but we thought it might have been similar to another hide along the road so were looking for that type of hide.

Came up for the JLWE and keeping the daily streak going we stopped just before the days destination was reached.
Took a photo opportunity and found a cache. We don't think it would have mattered how obvious we looked searching for this one , man o man the vehicles fly through this stretch of road.
Thanks for the cache OzFiresafe.

Found It!
This one took me quite a bit longer to find than it ever should have. But I got there in the end...
Bordertown is fair bit bigger than I ever thought it was. It would almost be a Victorian Oz Mega event if you hold it this close to the border!

We stopped here for this cache on our way to Keith. An easy find, not where we expected it to be, but a find is a find and everyone counts.
Thanks OzFiresafe for this great placement.

The first of around 300 SA caches in this short trip to a cache rich paradise. I gathered these caches along the way gaining enthusiasm for the main event caches at MB.

On a bit of a geotour during what remains of my holidays, MuggleWife is back at work so I'm off to Mildura and Renmark via Bendigo and Swan Hill then back to Melbourne through Pinnaroo, Bordertown and Horsham.
Day 3 of my journey has me on the downhill leg now, back towards Melbourne but still with a lot of caches in between.
Quick find in the heat of the day, signed log and back in the car for the next stop.
Thanks for placing this cache OzFiresafe
