Don't think I will replace this one as the area has been cleared and is far to open to have a cache - so will archive this one - thanks to everyone that has found and logged it Smile

Getting through a few of these, made a good start at least. All good here and replaced as found. T F T C niteowlnz.

Last day of the month and only the 5th day I've been out for a cache find, or more, so time to get some in before I have my Geo-licence revoked! And there are some more souvenirs being thrown around willy. And Nilly. So I'm up for a few finds and yet another trip over the hill. Thanks say the fuel companies, but that's my hobby. Targetted the area of Motueka and the back roads in and around Moutere but my planned 50 caches in a day was thwarted by mrs capperz's intolerance of too many p n gs so it was called off in the late teen-numbers and crept over the line for 20 in the day.
First up here for an explore along the causeway, and side roads, that I've sped past too many times but which were deserving of more attention today. Some nice finds out this way and some good old winter scenery to help the cause.

TregearP and I are slowly getting to know the area better - and caching is a great motivation for heading down less travelled roads, paths or examining local memorials.

This was a quick find. Added a supplementary log as the primary was too wet to sign and replaced as found.

Thanks for the cache.

10-Mar-18
Log was damp but dropped a supplementary in and dried out cache, other wise a quick find. TFTC

26-Jan-18
We decided that we had enough time to do the trail of caches on Central road. I managed to find 9 caches in all between the Upper Moutere & Motueka. I found this geocache not far away from where we ended up parking the car. Pretty quiet up this road. Without knowing it, I had made my 400th find.

This was one of the most epic weeks ever, and definitely my most epic caching week ever.

Me and mum headed up on a holiday north to Nelson and very wider surrounds. In total during the trip, we found almost 500 caches! (470 odd I think, but final results are yet to be in! ) We covered about 3000 odd km I think too. Crazy! And had our absolute best caching day ever too at 160 found. Spend 9 days travelling, caching, and having the best time ever!!

So sorry about not so epic logs, as otherwise this would probably take me the rest of my life to log, especially with two big events to organise coming up! Eeek!!

Almost every single log we signed as 'Team Polak' to avoid needing to write out both usernames taking up space on logsheet - as well as precious caching time!! Haha.

Consec caching day # 704

TFTC!! Smile

For the sake of sanity Wink we set off with sonia26642 for a crazy geocaching trip, aiming to cache until we drop. The main destination was Nelson and the ‘surrounding’ area, but then we ended up covering a few miles in three northernmost regions, plus a few in Canterbury. We were signing/stamping the log as 'Team Polak' or ‘TP’ for the two of us on this trip to save logbook space. We found a lot of different caches, city ones, road side, park side, up a hill and on an island, and we enjoyed every single one of them. It was good to be a professional thingfinder for a few days!

We had great fun and are grateful to all CO’s who placed caches for us to find, and help restore our sanity before returning to our other non-geocaching lives!!

Come and join us the next New Zealand geocaching MEGA event!! Register your interest now at www.nzmega2015.com to receive newsletter updates and be the first to know. It will be a great event, come and be a part of it!!

[green] In Motueka for a family Christmas get together. Christmas is over, but the family thing is still going strong. Me, my sister, brother-in-law, niece, nephew (who all comprise cacher Bijouxtoo) are all out for a caching morning.

And then there is the super challenge: Do the Central Mini Trail... in numerical order!
Removed rusty trades.

[maroon]Day 4 of our 5 day Easter caching roadtrip. Today we were heading from Nelson towards the Mini Trail, planning to go up one way and coming back via the trail.[/maroon]
Very fast find. I am liking the randomness of the numbers and the fact that we can do them in any order we want. Thanks for the cache Smile

24-Feb-13
I found one cache on an Auckland power trail that had 100 (or 101) eclipse tins at the base of power-poles, which sounds incredibly repetitive and boring. We had none of that today, a good balance of variety, distances between changing and different containers and not too many all helped keep it interesting. TFTC

24-Feb-13
A fun evening out with integersmirk completing this "mini" trail. TFTC

28-Nov-12
Wow, that was a big gap between this one and the last, especially noticeable on a bike! Maybe someone will shorten that gap soon?? Number 6 for the night, light running out. Must keep moving.

26-Nov-12

22-Nov-12
Yet another one, had to wait for tractor and bale wrapper to pass on by first before making the grab.

Nice One!!!!!!!!!!See #491. Much fun. Thanks

11-Nov-12
A quick stop along the trail. Mrs KE stopped almost on top of it. TFTC

11-Nov-12
SoBad overshot this one - leaving Mrs with more than 20m to walk to the cache. Then she realised the trinket was in the car - so had to do a double walk. As that took longer than the find it is not a serious complaint. But she did give quicker instructions for the next one. Thanks.

11-Nov-12
