Even though this one is a difficult one to find I think it needs to be checked properly by CO and confirmed to be there or not not just assumed to be.
In the area so stopped in here to have a look for this one. Spent ten minutes rumaging around and had to leave. It's probably still there somewhere though.

It is a hard cache, D3.5 - if it hasnt been found since August it would be safe to say it is more like a D 4.5. I think three DNFs on it is perfectly fine. If it gets more DNFs, I will check on it.
At this stage though, two new cachers and one cacher with 500 finds logging DNFs is not enough for me to disable it. Sorry.
If it hasn't been found since August it will be hard because it will be concealed very well now.
Will give it a check when I get back from Laos anyway.

Girlfriend got cold searching. I'll come back another time. Is there a dog grave in the bushes?
We looked around for a while and the most obvious spot was empty. We will try another day.
Wow! That was hard, we nearly gave up and then, after a bit of excavating, there it was!
Afternoon stroll to pick up this one. Took longer than I thought but made the find just as we were about to resume our walk. Very lucky to escape the fire.
Such a great hide. Even after spotting it, I wasn't sure I had found the cache until I grabbed hold of it. TFTC Lachie
Hi, I live less than 100m from this one and Monday's fire was pretty scary! However, it was confined to the other (eastern) side of the cycle path and the cache is absolutely fine!!
Hi everyone! It has come to my awareness that the park was on fire today and being the size of the park and the area in which the cache was located and by footage that was shown on the news, it would suggest that the cache was right in the fire. In fact from the footage it seemed like the cache was actually on fire... this would definitely make the silicon that holds the camo melt and although unlikely, could melt the PVC or damage it. If the next person to the cache could give a run down on the condition or post a photo I would be highly appreciative as I cannot get to it since I am working for the next couple of days...
Went out to get a couple of caches today while it's all quiet, I started looking at the object at GZ, did the walk around bit, then something caught my eye I look at it a few times thinking no way, sure enough it was the cache and it Blends in with the environment really well, really good job on the camouflage. TFTH SL FAV.
Search the obvious object and came up empty, well at least this one is not a micro. Kept looking a little wider and yes there it was. There is a bit of debate on the legality of this type of hide and I guess, strictly speaking this doesn't fit the groundspeak guidelines but I don't see the harm in this one and enjoyed the hunt. Some of my favourites are similar to this.
The inside of the container had a bit of moisture in it but the log was nice and dry.

I have a small cluster of Lachy cache to find in Myaree so with an hour to spare I started my search. It was not very successful, looked for three and only found one. Add the two DNF to my previous DNF and I have three all in a North South line, I don't know if that is significant.
No luck, I only found a 35cm snake which refused to reveal the location of the cache.
Thanks Lachlan1.77 for the cache.

DNS but didn't spend too much time after geogirls spotted a joe Blake right next to gz!
Great cache. I love it when you both see and touch the container and then reject it. Good gz meant it could be no doubt needed further investigation. Gets a fav. Tftc
Spent a long time here again today and even enlisted the help of two muggle families who were making a cubby near-by ... so we had 4 adults and 4 or 5 kids searching with no luck ... this one, like Robert Crawford Park, is a bit of a nemesis for me. I've now studied previous logs and think the search area is narrowed for my next visit ... but I thought I had already searched that area [B)]. TFTH Lachlan1.77. I will be back.
With Keego out for a mornings caching run. Running out of time Keego made the find on this one as I looked further away.
Out and about with AmstradKid to pick up a few more around this area. This one had us searching for a while, after reading the logs and especially Chwiliwr's we found the evil cache hide, for me the cache was 4m north of GZ, SL TFTC Lachlan1.77
2nd DNF here ... my GPSr was playing up and wouldn't even diplay the cache even though I knew it was loaded and subsequently verified that it was ... should have re-booted it I guess. Have now read all previous logs and think the search area is narrowed for my next attempt. TFTH Lachlan1.77. I will be back.
Well done Lachlan. Very good, found on second attempt . Have one of my very few favouriates.
Now I know the frustration of a DNF Lachlan . I will try again once I read the logs . Well done.
Decided to drive geoson up to uni today and do a bit of caching around here. Found a few first, then teamed up with Everlasting for the rest of the day. Quick find here, thanks to a gentle nudge by my companion. Thanks Lachlan1.77
I came out this arvo to get a replacement gas bottle for the BBQ and do a few caches. I arrived here at about 3.15pm and the plan was to do this one, then go back to clear up last weekend's DNF at your similar cache at Robert Crawford Park. Then, time permitting, do a few other near-by caches before heading home by 4pm.
At 4.21 pm, I was still here ... I got home with the gas bottle at about 4.50pm and wasn't very popular. TFTH Lachlan1.77. I will be back after the dust settles.

Found after getting the new duck cache "out house" showed barnzy 12 how to find caches agian. TFTH
TFTC found with Cravo10 after picking up the new duck cache nearby at wireless hill park. Great to clear a previous double dnf!!
Found with Tuskens2012 on 7/2/13 and forgot to log the find. Great work, didn't think we'd find it until we were right on top of it! TFTC
In the area trying to pickup some unfound caches and swung past here again, no luck again today. Tfth
After a hint from the CO this still took me quite a while to find, i was nearly going to give up when something suddenly caught my eye, very good camo blends in very well. Fav point for this one TFTC Lachlan1.77
This is a great cache. I received a hint from my brother, which made it easier to locate. Definitely deserves a favourite point. TFTC Lachlan1.77
After caching around here on the weekend, I decided to come back for lunch today in Applecross with the intention of getting some work done too. While having a wonderful lunch, I read the logs for this one and had a hunch on what to look for so dropped by after getting a heap of work completed. Well my hunch was wrong, but while responding to some emails on site, I noticed something ever so slightly odd. No wonder I didn't find it on the weekend - I hadn't opened my mind and was looking for something, just not this kind of something. A favourite point awarded for the effort and something a little different. TFTC!
It may be a camo and the co-ords are good, but you'll have to dig deep for this one.
Ouch!!! very well camo - fool me... the coordinate is very good... Trust GPS. Signed the log with richlink. Thanks Lachlan1.77.
Out on an extremely long caching day with my brother. We met up at 6am and headed to the Applecross area to start tackling a few caches there, and ended up finishing around 8pm in Leeming.
Spent a bit of time here, but came up empty.
Spent a bit of time here, but came up empty.
Spent most of my time standing at the stump and trying to see what was in view within 2 m.
I had called in to collect the trackable number that I put into the puzzle cache last night as I hadn't recorded it when I had picked it up and was on the way home when I decided to do this cache nearby.
Initially the GPS had GZ too far away from a likely hiding spot so I relocated to a more likely area to have a look when the CO rode by on his way to the new puzzle cache. He confirmed that I was now in the right area so after a conversation about caching in general he went to find the puzzle whilst I started searching. A short time later I found the cache and had the log signed.
Thanks for the cache.
(BTW my GPS that had been sitting on the stump all the time we were talking and then when I was searching ended up showing a distance to GZ of only 2m so adjusting it for the half metre it was away from the real GZ the coordinates are reasonable.)

No luck for me - grasstree annoyed me so DNF for me - another day will do. Thanks Lachlan1.77.
Searched high and low for this one, but had to give up after half an hour or so. Guess I was looking in the wrong place although I did expand my search quite a way from GZ. Will be back!! Thanks Lachlan
Hey Lachlan great cache mate. Kept looking in another area before I found it. Great camo
One out of four...could have been much worse if it wasn't for the eagle eyes of KB.......cheers Lachlan1.77
Arrived at Mickeydv's just as he was heading out to find a Christmas Eve cache. I wasn't feeling well but the lure of finding a cache outweighed the illness. Plenty of scratching around in the midday sun; I was well and truly cured of my need to cache after this one. Thanks for the cache Lachlan1.77.
FTF. We thought it a little strange that there had been no logs for this cache for four days. After a short search the very well cameo'd cache was located. Coordinates near enough at less than 2m. Good job young Lachlan, certinely good enough for a fav from us. TFTC
