With the odd finds / DNFs on previous logs we came and gave this a go. It is obvious the council has cleared the reeds and the water system has some sort of blockage making surrounding ground marshy. Rocks exposed no sign of a cache.
Out in Kardinya again this afternoon decided to stop in here and pick this one up. Nice quick find of a slightly exposed cache once at GZ. Jotted down the numbers and added a little cover.

After 45 minutes of removing every single rock from the man-made lake we re-read the instructions correctly and finally found the cache on the OUTSIDE of the lake oops!
[:(!] Out on a caching run today and this was one of them, parked the geoGrand Vitara as close as possible to GZ and walked in from there, on arrival at GZ the cache was in hand in a matter of minutes.

Thanks for the description of the hide as your co-ordinates are out by 5 to 8m.
What a clever hiding spot was impressed.

I walked over to this one from Dick Piercy park. The GPS was pointing me a bit off course, so I checked the hint and previous logs, and it didn't take too long to have the cache in hand. Thanks for the cache Lachlan1.77!
Only 34 caches to make my 2000th find. Didn't know how many I would accumulate today, but wasn't really expecting to get there today anyway. Yet another quick and easy one here. Thanks Lachlan1.77
Out with iluvtrekking on a Christmas Eve caching run. Co-ords out about 6 mts by our gps. (Try 601 & 868)

Came and checked on the cache. The cache was fine. Dropped in a TB to continue its journey with the next finder.
Quick find when I got to the correct end of the pond. SL and got numbers, then a dog rocked up and stood right beside me when I was about to re-hide the cache. I thought that was OK, but then his muggle owners came into view and the dog was watching intently waiting for the tennis ball thrower to put into action. I exchanged greetings with owners as they passed by, then re-hid the cache. Lachlan1.77
After attending an appointment near North Lake Road I decided to give the Kardinya Parks series ago. Quick stop on North Lake, such a small pond.
Thanks Lachlan1.77.
Thanks Lachlan1.77.
We had an afternoon chasing down some of these Kardinya Parks series. Our GPS had us wandering back and forth for quite a while before finally settling, fairly close to cache. TFTC Lachlan1.77
Mrs Felix out on an extended caching day with Everlasting The starting list was 48 caches by the time they left home although due to the heat and some built up frustration with continuing DNF's the list was culled down to 38.
Found in an obvious spot but co-ords were maybe 6metres off from where we started searching.

Nice park area - FelixII find the container instead of me due to my GPS didnt settle down... signed the log with FelixII. Thanks Lachlan1.77.
rode bike from work to attempt this series and a few others...this was my first and fortunately a quick find...thanks again Lachlan1.77
Knowing the location of the hide really helped narrow down possible hiding spots for which I was very grateful. Thanks for the cache.
I can remember this lake being made a long time ago, nice area now and a nice park to walk around too, made an easy find and my first time to actually go for a walk around this park.
Thanks for bringing me to this spot. TFTH SL.

I saw these pop up last night and thought that this series would make a good circuit for my morning run. This one is in a nice little park which is looking great on this lovely spring morning. After checking a couple of the obvious spots I had to resort to the clue. It was a quick find after that, Extracting the cache proved a little more difficult.

Decided to spend the day doing the winthrop and kardinya caches. After reading a previous log it was a quick find but i also found GZ to be out by about 10 metres. TFTH
*FTF*
The coordinates may be a bit out on this one as the GPS said GZ was 12m away but the hint will get future finders to the right spot so it shouldn't matter too much.
Thanks for the cache.

Third find for the night. Found this one ok after Chwiliwr. Very clever hiding spot- it was where I thought it would be but had to have a few real good look and eventually found it when I looked from the other side. Coordinates were fine for me, but using an iPhone with an almost dead battery, so probably not the most accurate device to comment on this one. TFTC and a favourite hide point from me as this is very close to where I have wanted to hide a cache or Munzee for a long time.
