The hidey hole is no longer there and the cache has gone with it so time to go.
May have disappeared due to upcoming development. On the hunting trail again with SeasonedBird, Liz & Bruce. Blue sky day, so it’s a great day for caching. TFTC OzFiresafe

We have found only a few caches in the Barossa so decided to take advantage of the many options to search for caches containing the Natural Wonders of the World to gain a souvenir
Lots of tree felling hapoening in this area today but Geohubby was abke to make a discreet find. We replaced the log book and returned as found.

Found at 11:10 AM with XBRmob. Easy find on a nice day. Log book is a bit 'bent' making it difficult to write on. TNLN TFTC

Thanks for the cache OzFiresafe. This one has it all, quick drive by, park in the shade, quick sign and we are away.
Found during a caching trip with Team Waldron to target a cluster of caches that neither of us had found in the Daveyston, Greenock and Nuriootpa area. Thanks for the cache OzFiresafe!
Out for the day with Featherwaite to get some caches around the Barrossa.
All caches found were in good order. Thanks to all cache owners.
Another of the series completed, spotted it from the car.

Today, a small group headed out past Swan Reach and Loxton collecting a few geocaches. We then returned to my vehicle in Truro, and I then spent the next few hours visiting Truro, Angaston, and Nuriootpa picking up a few target geocaches, Adventure Lab Locations (waypoints), and a few others just along the way. A long day out and about in warm-ish weather.
My final geocache find of the day as I was leaving Nuriootpa. I parked alongside, and made the quick find. The cache container was in good shape, although the logbook is looking rather average. Thanks OzFiresafe for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Day 438 ( Monday 9th) of our trip. Caching along the way, in Greenock today. Out this afternoon to get a few around town. TFTC
I tried drying in the sun, but log very wet.
I was booked into some Barossa accomodation for the weekend as I had a ticket for the ‘rescheduled’ Red Hot Summer Tour @ Seppeltsfield but alas, due to COVID it was ‘rescheduled’ again, March 2022! Oh well, I guess I’ll just have to have a relaxing weekend doing some geocaching and any DNF’s, I’ll be back to try and get you before 2022!

Enjoying some Nuriootpa caching before the tour passes through tomorrow. Thanks for the hide.
Day 1 Adelaide to Monash
Found with mogni on route to monash. It turns out that we can't get in to the B abd B till 4 pm, so killing time finding caches in nuriootpa for a while before heading to monash and leaving a trail of smileys behind us. quick find.
Myself and mogni came up to the river land to go to MacCabe Corner and find the virtual there plus drive the mail trail in murray sunset national park plus the 4 x 4 track in cooltong national park. The original idea was to go through to mildura but with weather 37, 45 , 37 degrees fore cast we changed plans and stayed in monash instead. Any caches that where found damaged where replaced and any logbooks found full or with 2 or 3 spaces left where replaced.

After spending a very peaceful and quiet night camping on our own at Towitta, we were on the road again today, caching with ilook4geo. We have now arrived in the Nuriootpa area which had an abundance of caches. This was a very easy cache to find but the log was wet, so while trying to add two more names, we really only managed to make a few dents in the paper with the pen. Time then to return everything to its place and continue with the hunt. Thanks go to OzFiresafe for placing this cache.
Picking up a few caches today while heading towards Nuriootpa with goingplaces2. We found a variety of containers and hides. All logs were signed and replaced as found. This was a very wet log here. It was a fun and successful day. This was one of the caches we enjoyed finding. TFTC.
Fulfilled our grandparent duties by taking the kids to school, then took a short walk. Easy find. Log book damp. TFTC
Enjoying our explore of this area aided by geocaches. Can't really go past a welcome cache . Tftc
My muggle travelling companion gas gone off to do a gin making course, what should I do? Find caches. Thanks for the cache a quick park and grab
Have come to the Barossa with my Mum for a girly weekend. All booked before the 40 degree weather was forecast.
Had to make do with 3 finds and 1dnf today as just too hot for caching to be enjoyable. It was much nicer being inside air conditioned wineries!
Spotted this one from the car so was a nice easy find. The question now is where is Oz Mega 2020!!! TFTC

Found with vj187. A quick find on a beautiful day in the Barossa. The log was full. TFTC
What a fabulous day out...so fabulous that we stamped 98% of the logs as "Fabulous Randoms" (the others we wrote our names).
We completed 3 OTD series, picked up the tribute series to the US iconic trails (ET Highway & Route 66) and stopped to find a number of other random caches including ones with high fav points or interesting D/Ts. Over 160 finds - it was worth the 5am start (to try and beat the heat).
Thanks so much for the cache OzFiresafe! [^]

A decision about a day of caching with Goodlook was orgained in the not so distant past to clean up some caches around swan reach and murray bridge.
A successful with no DNF’s and 165 caches finds, completing 3 on this date (OTD) series and some of the fruit loop with a few trads along the way.
Majority if the log books were stamped with FABULOUS RAMDOMS and 5 or 6 we wrote our individual caching names in.

Exploring into country after staying in Adelaide for few days.
thanks OzFiresafe for bring me here and cache.

Having arrived in Nuri an hour early, I decided logging a cache or two would be the way to burn time. A nice easy find and not too many muggles at 8am during the school holidays when it is 4 degrees.

Found with FUF009.
Today was Day 7 of our 8 day SA trip.
On the agenda today was a bunch of OTD series.
This was the only day we didnt make our target.
The August OTD series took twice as long as expected as it ended up being more of a 4WD road which meant we had to go slower.
I still ended up with 105 finds for the day.
Lots of driving today.
We started out from Tarlee and ended up in Adelaide.
Again we enjoyed the diversity of the countryside. SA is a wonderful state.
Apologies for the generic log.

Day 7
The only day our plans did not go as according. We had a 6 months of OTD's on the list but the Roads for August were a little rougher than expected and slowed us down quite a bit. Never less we still got OTD June, July and August and a couple of others, and finished off the day in Adelaide were a couple of urban grabs were made. These still got our days total to over 100 and makeing for another fund day in SA.

A Big week was planned to travel around South Australia, staying in Minlaton, Tarlee and Adelaide. We cache along a number of Trails, managed to grab a few off the beaten track, some well known caches and the odd one that
came up on the map as we were travelling around.
It ended up being a massive week of 2960 odd kilometers travelled, with day find counts of 25, 256, 361, 318, 66, 205, 104 and 76 (yep thats 1411 for the 8 days)
1062 micro, 238 small, 60 Regular, 45 large, 3 Virtual and 3 Other.
