With the tree gone, and the cache owner not having logged in since January 206 we can safely assume Wakko Akos has no more interest in geocaching so these caches can be archived, freeing up the area for other new caches.
Didn't actually find it but I want a smiley face and I did find the chopped down tree with a hole in the middle!
Close to home, I came here twice and did not find it. I should have read the previous logs beforehand.
Didn't read previous notes about this cache having gone missing, so spent a little while looking for this one before checking previous logs lol
I came her today and as noted in previous log the tree has been chopped and cache is nowhere to be seen.

We visited the nice area.
After the visit there we stopped at some nice caches in the region.
Thank you to all the owners

Today we were targeting caches in the West Pymble area, setting out after lunch to continue our "mini" streak, fill yet another calendar gap, and to generally add to our cache "found" tally.
No luck for us today at this one. Looked all around GZ but came up empty handed.

Nearly gave up on this as we thought we had checked all the possible spots, then one poke of our finding stick reveals the prize! TFTC

Today I was around the university on caching. This was my 6th found today.
Here I had to seek for a while but then I could find it yet.

Found with Mr_Brightside and LMCasanova. Cache had become a bit exposed so we fixed up the camo before we left. Tftc!
Coordinates are way off as mentioned before. Keep walking further down, the location is obvious. Tftc
I had some spare time this morning before my work commitments commenced so I decided to go for a bit of a walkabout in this area. This was the first cache I found. It took a while. Once I checked the logs and noticed someone found it about 18m off published coordinates, I extended my search area and it didn't take too long to find after that. TFTC, Biggles.
Parked opposite the lane and walked in and started looking for cache sized hidey holes. Found the camo, ahh nice hide. Removed the container that has no lid, log extraction was a challenge but eventually got there, TFTC
Next up on today's get-mission through West Pymble town with Opa-Shrek and GeoJorjy - we wandered toward GZ, aware the coordinates may be off, so we turned on the geosenses, and checked the most obvious spot before approaching the GZ our devices suggested - and our gamble paid off.... While our devices insisted that we were also 18-19m off, there it was...and a funny little container it was - luckily it was clearly marked as usually not something I like to touch when I find them, and definitely something I've tried to teach the Geokids not to pick up - with its markings I gave GeoJorjy the all clear and she played swapsies while we signed and then headed on our way.
The cache had no lid, but the log-bag seemed to be holding up and doing its job at this point.

As we continued our exploration of Wakko Land, we bypassed the cache at the nearby tennis club when we noted KRS's recent note that it was missing and headed instead for this cache. I'm glad we read through the recent logs for this before beginning our search as this enabled us to broaden our search horizons immediately. We quickly saw a spot where a regular cache might be hidden and soon had the cache in hand. Thanks for another straightforward find Wakko Akos.
A nice easy one. Found that the coordinates were 18 meters out but was a likely hiding spot tftc
We have set up camp at the Lane Cove Caravan Park, while our daughter is in hospital for a couple of weeks.
Today we planned on finding caches in the Pymble area. We were surprised how much native bush is in this area. A wonderful morning out tiki touring the area.
This was well hidden but we found the co-ords out 18m, but it was to be found in the obvious location.
Took the TBs
Thanks for placing this cache Wakko Akos

Found this with Help from Holly. Left TB . Signed log, container top very narrow . All good . Thanks .
The Lost in Cache team took a little while to find this one. The trees and cloudy skies had our gps signals bouncing all over the lane. We reckon the coordinates might be a bit out. Great camo on this one - very nice and gets a FP from me. The cache container does not have a lid, though the piece of paper inside was dry. Thanks for the cache - great spot and camo
LOST IN CACHE were back on the road again. ACTchil, Darzee Di, KittyKatch and GrimRaider spent the day travelling to and enjoying the NSW Geocaching event at Lane Cove National Park. We did some caching on the way and around the event location. It was a great day and this was one of our finds. tftc Wakko Akos
Team Lost in Cache (KittyKatch, Grimraider, ACTchil and I) had just been to the Let's Party - Come Celebrate Australia's first cache event and visit the first ever cache put out In Australia "Lane Cove" and were grabbing a few suburbuan caches on our way back to Canberra. We got to this little lane way and got to the gz well where our GPS's took us and looked for a while, quite a tricky one we thought then ACTchil walked a bit further down and have a quick look, he walked back with a smile on his face so we knew he must have spotted it, so off we went and yep there it was, a little way away from gz, but we signed the log book after having a bit of fun getting it out and went on our way. tftc Wakko Akos.
Sneaky and nowhere near where the GPS put us with the given coords. Cache container quite disappointing, at lest the contents were dry, what we could access through that little tiny top! TFTC
Nice hide. Log book is full but managed to sign. No room for swaps or drops. TFTH TFTC Replaced cache as found.
#1409 (2 of 2 today)
No time to go on tour before visiting my mother today, so thought I'd have a quick look here.
iPhone decided not to update my position from the road, so didn't know exactly how far to wander down the lane. Looked in many directions on a short walk when I espied something that looked like a cache behind badly positioned camo.
And it was. CIH.
Took away to complete signing duties (got sprung by a muggle delivering junk mail - and taking a shortcut apparently).
Question: Should the cache have a lid? If so it has gone.
Went back and replaced, making as sure as I could that the camo was effective. Nice spot - would have taken me a lot longer if camo was properly deployed.
Grabbed the last spot of the front of the log. There is a blank back to the paper for future finders...

The guard hounds did a very good vocal job when we arrived but soon settled down. Read previous logs when the cache was not located at cords and soon found it some distance away.
Today, we headed out to do some sightseeing, and to pick up a few caches.
Had to widen our search, to locate this one.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Wakko Akos, for us and others to find.

Doing some caching in the area. This one was a lot harder as my co-ords was off by about 20m. But found it. 10 out of 10 today so far. TFTC

#188. Had a decent look around for this one but had no luck so decided to go for a walk and check out some other caches in the area. Ended up coming back the same way and wasn't really thinking about the cache until something jumped out at me in a completely different spot to where I had been looking before... And sure enough there was the cache! Love it when that happens! Great camo. TFTC!
Awesome cache! The co-ords told me the cache was inside a house. The house was guarded by 2 dogs who tried to be tough but got tired of barking after about a minute. So I ignored the co-ords and started looking around the only possible places that it could be.
Well, I found it. I'm not usually good at spotting these hides but I surprised myself with this one. Very good camo! TFTC!

It's always good to have a cache handed to you when your walking off into the distance. Tftc tnln
Although I was stuck in the car due to an injured knee the geo family found it.
Excellent camo and well thought out.

Apart from two guard dogs scaring the hell out of me and the co-ords being out, I found it in the most obvious place. Great camo, had me thinking it was something else at first though, TFTC.
Despite our best efforts, The Rats, steeba and I could not turn up this cache during our tour of the Northern Beaches.
At GZ we searched and found nothing. Expanded our search and found a likely area, but could still not turn up the cache.
Cheers

Having DNFed this one late last year it was about time I had another crack at it after some finds...
Picked up the GeoWife to have a girl look but I spotted the hide in the end. The coords are just as far out using the eTrex as the phone was and I was in the right area the first time but missed the hide because of the extremely good camo job. The lid is missing from the container and the log itself was a little damp but very serviceable.

We loved this cache! Yes, the doggie was barking a bit behind the fence, but we persisted, and were very pleased in the end. Giving cache a favourite point!!!
Couldn't locate the cache at the GPS coordinates but after expanding my search a little it was quite easy to locate although the camo was quite impressive! TFTC!
Took a little bit of time, and as it was the last cache for the day, the geokids were not giving up! Geokid found it. TFTC.
Had a really good look around, first where the coords took me then widened the search zone including a good look at the place I would have put it 20m away. Reading early found logs, I think this is where it should be but there have been extensive tree works there that could have disturbed things. Might be time for a CO check?

Found during a slight detour on the way home from work. There were kids playing beyond one high fence and a dog barking on the other side so I wondered off to search for another cache or two and found this one later on the way back to the car. Many thanks Wakko Akos
Todays finds 6 of 9.
After completing a clean out of the area i stumbled along this beautiful cache. Upon reading the cache information the CO was telling me this was a hard cache. Well this is untrue this was such a fast easy cache with a very cleaver home made container.

More walking, more caches. Great to be exploring this part of Sydney. Thanks Wakko Akos.
The GPSr got us to the general area but it took caching commonsense to uncover the cleverly concealed cache. Thanks Wakko Akos.
Found with andrewturner. Granny made the find. Coords were a bit out, as others have noted. Great hide!
Out with the Dino-Mites today. We usually look for geocaches in Shropshire, England, but we are visiting son and family in Sydney. It's lovely seeing the grandchildren getting all enthusiastic as they rush about looking for caches, GPSr in hand. Granny found this one.
Footyfanatics, pdbunce and I set out this morning for a spot of caching. Very tricky however you can't fool us. Was about to give up then something dawned on me. Ah ha. TFTC
I searched for this cache for a long time, but i just couldnt manage to find the cache. I returned after finding Yarrara Lane #2 but still no luck and eventually abandoned the search. Ill get it next time!
Good hide - container has no top but log is ok.

Great hiding spot and camoflage. Took While to find. Looked all around spot for a while then noticed something different. Cordinstes are out by about 18m.
Second time lookinv for cache. As other people said, went 18m past coordinate spot. Looked for a while around spot then noticed something different. Great camoflage.
After helping Daddy find the other Yarrara Lane, I had to help him find this one.
I must be losing my touch.
After coming back to this cache four times, I finally noticed something wrong and had a bit of a fossick.
Removing the camo, I was quite happy to finally find this cache.
Thanks Wakko Akos for an interesting hide

Despite finding Yarrara Lane #2, #1 eluded me.
I looked everywhere, even where I thought there'd be a cache.

We were in Sydney on Good Friday to find our 3000th find at Lane Cove and to grab a few more along the way. This one was one of them. The GPS indicated that the cache was hidden in the garden of the nearby house. We looked around along the lane and spotted a place we'd hide a cache and sure enough there it was - 18m away from the listed coords. TFTC

Quick find, a good hiding spot and no one around today but two boys did cycle away as I got out of the car. I wondered if it was you WA?
