Just returned from overseas this morning but had to force myself to head out again to keep the streak alive. The updated coords from 2014 put me in a better spot but still took a bit of searching to find. I knew I was close when I found the little magnet still attached but no container. Had my name in the log shortly afterwards.

Mr Ozjeeper spotted three trains, a huge pile of rubbish, schoolchildren returning home, some curious passers-by but no cache container.
I just noted (from perusing previous logs) that the cache owner posted a note on 30-11-2014 that changed the coords to S 33° 47.182 E 151° 04.981 instead of the coords shown at the top of the cache page. It's not really much of a difference but it might be just enough to lead seekers away from the correct location.

Had to look here and there too before there it was . Was in the right spot but just couldn't see it. I also don't have much luck with Train spotters so have put this off for awhile TFTC in good condition
Went to the PUTT PUTT GOLF ERMINGTON one of the last few weeks until it closes for good. Sad news but good memories. After have been doing a few caches in the area. Quick find with markau. Thanks for the cache!
Found after a short search. In no longer has attached that that would give it its attractive quality.
Can't see why it has been so long since this one was found! Targeted for geosportz and rewarded with several trains plus the cache. Glad to find it fade and well. Cheers!
We were last here at the end of Augst in 2014 when the container had disappeared. Finally back in the area today to make the two-train find. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
Ah yes yay I found this brilliant hide with sevabo after a few DNF's in the past so thank you BB for bringing us here.
Found at 1:42pm.
Well, well, well... I have been anticipating the day that I would finally get the chance to log this cache, log it as a smiley that is. Today was my third visit to this part in the Train Spotter series. I even brought a fellow cacher along the second time and couldn't produce the goods.
Before I came today, I happened to notice that there was a very recent log (the day prior) that claimed the find. This gave me some confidence and I was off to GZ without any hesitation. Once I arrived I searched a different area to where I had been searching previously, although I definitely sussed this side out as well but to no avail.
I was confident from the hint that it had to be in this spot and today proved I was correct. It probably doesn't help that I've come here at night on the past couple of visits. I made the find and was very pleased with myself.
Definitely not the most glamorous spot here so future cachers, be mindful of the litter and potentially dangerous objects.
Signed log, thanks for the cache Blundo Busters, another one ticked off in the series.

Tftc. This is my 150th cache and quite fitting. I have been looking for this cache for ages, with several unlogged dnfs. Even after a hint from the CO I still couldn't find it. Went for another attempt, checked somewhere I mustn't have quite checked before and boom! There it was. Finally!
Arriving at GZ i noticed the hint immediately, although finding it was a different story but soon had CIH. Beware of low pointy vineyard plants, sticks and bottles full of pee... I almost went for a tumble down.
TFTF!
TFTF!
I wasn't sure if I should have a look at the cords published on Dec. 1 2014 in logs or the ones my compass took me to do the cache. So I sorta checked out both with no luck.
Something about this cache took me awhile. When i decided to look harder, i found it. Took me by surprise because i was thinking the cache would look like something else. Nice hide although u are in full view of muggles. Didnt bring a pen, probably will buy one nearby and return.
Couldn't resist having a look for the replacement. A good hide in a nice spot; and yes, a great view of the tracks! Thanks, Blundo Busters
Came by for a curious stop on the way home, seeing some DNF logs in recent months. GZ has changed a little since my find; there seemed to be some broken discarded clay (?!) around, as well as a lot more general litter. The camo used to hide the cache has somehow moved as well. After searching around for a few minutes, I wasn't able to locate the cache. This one probably needs a check. Thanks and sorry about this, BB.
A bit too much rubbish to go searching through. Had to watch out for the geo kids.
No luck for us here this afternoon on a five train visit. However in a tight game of putt-putt afterwards we realised that we had both ignored one place thinking the other had looked there. Wonder if that was the place?! We'll be back. Cheers... Gaztek
Found after a bit of search in wrong spots. Good hide which made us spending more time than needed + two trains passed!
Yebo
But what a littered sight
It took 4 trains to pass until I had the cache in hand
As I am walking today through the suburb of Eastwood, I started at the station, made a big loop and am ready to return

After I found two very interesting train spotter caches this morning I decided to look for some more. I went all the way from Eastwood to West Ryde. So this was the first one and pretty when the first train passed I found the clue. Signing duties another train. Trying to take a photo in the dark 3rd train. 2 more on during the ride to Eastwood station.
But be honest. With the hint there are only two objects for the place for the cache. The other one would be too easy so the find should not be too difficult.

Well I decided to give it another go, I didn't want to let this one defeat me. Found the cache in a shorter time than it has taken me to write this log! Can't believe I missed it! TFTC
Maybe i'm just bitter because I didn't find it, but I really didn't like this spot. Trash everywhere and felt like I was going to get Tetanus. Anyway, spent probably half an hour looking and couldn't find it.
Finally found this one after bringing along a little helper! It was nicely hidden but I think the hint is quite misleading. I suppose it made sense to others but just my thoughts anyway. TFTC!
Good one!!!! Clever you!!!! I'm lucky found!!!!! Oh Phew!!!! Hide well!!!! Thank!!!!

Took a bit of time to spot this one, but got there in the end. I was there long enough for a northbound and southbound XPT as well as two interurbans, one in each direction as well. Thanks Blundo Busters.
After a bad beat at my last cache, I came to this not feeling too confident, but struck it lucky and made a find in a few minutes. Could have been nasty though! Not the picturesque area!
Oh my goodness spent over 30 mins looking for this and couldnt believe how many times I walked past this lol....was giving one last look and for some reason spotted the cache and then the camo bwahahah had to laugh at myself but then after I sL and walked back to car....copper was driving towards me whilst I was parked in no stopping lucky they kept driving past me. Another early morning start with Jfindit today with the trainspotter series in our sights, the series spans over many suburbs and kilometres with a variety of creative ways to hide the mostly micro / nano style cache, I did enjoy this series but found some of the coords slightly out but widening the search area slightly usually provided a positive result thanks to the CO for the time and effort you’ve put into this series Have to log a dnf here search the mountains of rubbish at the GZ and surrounding area the clue seemed to make sense but provided no cache
xPhenoms and I have been planning this little expedition along the Train Spotter series from Thornleigh out to Windsor in the West for quite a while. So today’s the day headed out in the Geo Mits down the thin black line to the Big Smoke to begin the series and other caches of opportunity. Found what's no longer in use, But didn't find the cache. Next time maybe
Another good find with TuisReturn
We enjoyed touring around the area finding caches
Very, very tricky hide!!

Sorry for the late & repeat logs as just catching up now.
A great time had, some wonderful places seen, thanks to all the NSW geo cachers.

Came back with more experienced cache eyes to try this again.
Started the same way as last time - wandering a bit on the left & right sides of the gate.
After about 5 minutes, I moved away from where I'd been concentrating to get a fresh perspective & saw something I'd seen before. Could this be the camo?
Yep. It can! Not surprised I didn't have the faintest a few months ago.
But now, SUCCESS!

14/10/13. 7:22 AM. Cache #976. After finding Triangulate 3/2, I decided that I had time for one more before work, so I returned here where I had failed before. (Yes, yes, where's my DNF logs, I know).
Today, my cache senses got me this one quickly (a recent log indicating which altitude certainly helped, too). Very sneaky, BB. TFTC }:)

Gosh this was hard for me. Banged thro the scrub avec to about 6 trains skirted the litter. Checked out the gates. Checked the clues. Yep know where it is now. No such luck. The were some interesting items no longer uses that were not litter. Meet the blue tonge lizard and then headed off.
Grandpa, Daddy and I found this one.
Well, I found this one. Daddy and Grandpa were looking in entirely the wrong place.

Tricky little hide. I had an inkling it'd be around there. The hint sort of helped.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Had been meaning to do this one for a long time, but just hadn't had the chance to
Went for a search on return from the city; surprisingly, found it in two seconds!
Fantastic clever hide, TFTC!

Arrived at GZ started the search only to realise I stepped in dog poo, all over my boots and pants.....so to speed up the search I pafed and soon had cih,

After attending a Railway Modelling Workshop all day, felt I should find a Train Spotter cache - this was the closest. Spent some 20 minutes looking before I discovered the blighter. A few trains passed including one hauled by the diesel electric loco No. CF 4412 painted in black & pink livery of "Black Caviar"- striking colour. SL TFTC
The frustration of doing caches in this series. I almost always find them very difficult. Got to see 7 trains. But got their in the end having kicked required object a couple of times.

Very clever hide! Enjoying finding the various caches in this series. There were heaps of places to look - but found it quite quickly. SL / TFTC
Out with Footyfanatics and ticking off the local caches we hadn't attempted to date. Had done some of the trainspotter series last year. I think this must have appeared afterward. Found it quickly thank goodness. It could have taken a while with the amount of litter illegally dumped at this location. TFTC.
Found it on a sunny winters day while out with evangt. I raced up to the wrong end of this one and we spent another 5 minutes looking around until evangt found it. TFTC
Finally!
Only took 4 attempts - very tricky.
A freight train was stopped right beside GZ the whole time I was there (about 10mins) and a police chopper circled almost overhead.
Hmm something strange going on around here as it took 30 minutes to get back onto Balaclava Rd with the traffic at a complete standstill.
Found out later there'd been a building explosion on Blaxland Rd only 200m as the crow flies from GZ.
TFTC I like a good challenge and this was certainly it!

I agree with eden, this is sneaky! Didn't take too long though, compared to the ping one up the road.
No luck today. Searched all around the spots where it wanted me to be. I will return.
3rd attempt on this one was beginning to think it had be muggled! Found with hpwg. Embme and i had been looking in the right sort of area but brushed off a couple of things we thought it wouldn't be without checking, went back and check those places and there it was, fun hide, tftc!
The rubbish makes it more difficult. Thought I had worked out the hint, but couldn't see any obvious camo as the light faded.

First attempt at geocaching - had a quick scrounge around on my lunch break. No luck yet - maybe tomorrow!
What a beautiful day for caching. The clue was very helpful but I didn't find it until I exhausted the seemingly likely hiding places. Then I spotted something out of place. Sure enough, that was all I needed to find the cache. SL TFTC. Greetings from Arizona, USA.

Coming back through here and we still needed our daily cache. We managed to park near by and headed to GZ. We searched a few favourite spots but nothing. We then walked around a little more and after approaching it from the right direction we knew it was the camo and soon pulled out the cache. It reminded us of a PJM hide we liked early into our caching start. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC
Looked around everywhere, but didn't find anything. Did see a bottomless rain gauge looking thing, but it was completely empty.
Looked all around. Lots of junk and trains but no cache. Needed to move on unfortunately
Great hide very smart loved spot must give credit to Jordsau for the find and getting me Into caching love it. Tftc
Found with goughy2012, sneaky but the hint helped us solve it quickly. TFTC Blundo Busters!
this was quite a unique hide.... we ended up looking for all the " usual" places... Took the mind of a child to look outside the square. TFTC. Good one!
Dinkyfish asked for help with this one. We had just picked up the little geodaughters from a mad scientist party. I had to take two other little mad scientists home but they were all keen to go geocaching! So off we went. At GZ we looked and looked. The mad scientists were running amok and we were worried they might run onto the nearby road. A bull ant nest was found causing extra excitement. Dinkyfish and I were almost ready to call it a day when one of the little mad scientists holds it up saying "don't tell me I just found it!" Well hidden. TFTC
Second time coming here, we thought it had been taken but we noticed it was found after our attempt. TFTC pretty tricky one, ran into a reptile protecting the cache
Found this with team angry birds.
