There have been DNF's and calls for this one to be checked since at least January. We looked again today but still were unable to find anything. We have discussed with previous finders who located what seemed to be "bits" of this cache.
After finding the troll in Rosewood, we came back for our fourth look. We looked and looked and still nothing. We know what we are looking for now- just need to find it. Could the cache owner check to see if the troll has moved on? We are happy to come down the hill to search again of we know he is still there.

I found the troll to be very pleasant toward me today, as he showed me where the cache was
thanks for the cache Tonned

Newbies now registered. Their first official find. I found this cache a couple of months ago. All in well.
No luck for us today. After reading some DNF's from some seasoned players we didn't spend too much time on this one.
Disappointed No Fun today
Spent some time looking where trolls live but no joy.
Thanks anyway Tonned

As noted the bottom half of the cache is missing, I took a picture if required. TFTC
Found after a few false starts. As another finder has mentioned the bottom of the bison tube is gone, as is the log. Only the cap remains Still we found it so that's the main thing. TFTC Tonned
Last time I was here the water level was touching the bottom of the bridge. Today it was a fair bit lower and I was soon able to retrieve the cache. As noted the bottom half of the cache is missing, I took a picture if required. TFTC
Found the top of the container but bottom is missing believed sunk.

This one took a bit of finding. I noted the terrain 1. I hunted about - and was thankful the area was peaceful and devoid of muggles.
Then I spotted something likely. Sure enough - the cache! It was in good condition. I took some photos as proof as my find (will supply them if the cache owner asks). I re-hid it as found.
I posted up the co-ords that worked for me today. TFTC Tonned

No problem here, just scared off the Troll for a minute whilst we found and signed the cache and log. Tftc Tonned
Took a couple of laps of the lake before we got a sufficiently muggle-free period of time. Thanks to the previous cacher who mentioned finding the line to the troll - it unravelled pretty quickly when I clued onto the significance of that statement! I am soooo out of practice....
Cache paper very wet. The lake level seemed high today. But we found it. A few muffles around. But the hubby found the line that lead to victory with the troll.
No luck for us today. Trying to dodge the muggles. Will come back another time.
Finally had a chance to look for this one and with no-one around and a few ideas up my sleeve, the cache was located with minimum effort. Signed log and wondered how I would return it to its container, but it was easier than I imagined. Cache returned to the Troll without fuss. TFTH Tonned. All is well with the cache.
With our turn of the lake, we walked straight passed. My geo daughter and grand-daughter wondered about the Grumpy Old Troll name, and I assumed they are named after the story of the 3 Billygoats Gruff who crossed the bridge and the oga who lived under it. Maybe this one lived in the grass or in the water??
The geo-granddaughter found this one quite quickly...I never saw a thing..blended in very well.
Thank again, and we have lots of Tonned hides to find this week end. Oh well.. tomorrow is another day.

Out and about today looking after nieces and nephew - they love our 'treasure hunts'. Coords were spot on, and cache was quickly found. TFTC!
Up in Toowoomba for "A Picnic in Toowoomba" with IolantheK. After the event we decided to grab a few caches on our return trip to Brisbane [^]
This was not an easy find. spent quiet a while looking. Eventually IolantheK PAFed who put us on the right track
We also got to meet an elderly gent who was doing circuits around the park on his electric bike. He clammed to have worked in the area at the Shell depot years ago. He was the instigator along with the local Rotary club for the park [^]
Cache is quiet wet as the troll has been dunking it in the water [:(!]

After the Event at Picnic Point today, T-Tech and I collected a few caches here in the Toowoomba area before heading back to Brisbane. We had two goes at this one this afternoon. The first time we looked high and low to no avail, and after half an hour of muggle-interrupted searching we made a PAF, but got no answer Ahh, well, we'll try the one nearby and hopefully have another go at this one on our way back to the car. Fortunately the PAF returned our call and we got a useful hint, so after finding the other one, we returned for a second go and T-Tech made the find pretty quickly.
During our first visit we met the fellow who first got this park established, and after a bit of a chat, we explained what geocaching was, and he seemed pretty pleased that it was happening in his park [^] TFTC, Tonned.

This one remained elusive for a little while and Kaisho53, Ghostgums and I tried a whole number of options before I spotted the tell tale sign... Access to some spots was limited but it didn't stop us trying and we engaged the assistance of some gadgetry, all to no avail...
This one was very much a case of trust the GPS as the coords were spot on for us. You just have to spot the sign and retrieve the cache... If only we had done that in the first place...
A nice walk around here. Pity it was overcast and a little gloomy this morning.
Cheers Tonned.

Found this ok. Not so easy putting it back... lots of muggles out enjoying a walk along the track today. Nice to see. Eventually got the break we needed and returned it safely.

We were about to give up on this one when my fingers came across something a little different.
Thanks Tonned
Thanks Tonned
Had a walk past this one today but the water was almost touching the bridge so we did not try and find it. Will have another go when the water is a little lower.
Lots of fish to be seen here, these distracted us for awhile before we remembered why we were here. SL TFTC
With the flow of the water in the last flood this one was washed away
In the flood before we were able to save it by removing it before the waters rose, lets hope we can do the same if and when they rise again.
cheers

No need for wet feet even at high tide. Very obvious when you look at the right place.
Angus the Westie here. Lis, my grey nomad Carer, Bella, my little Westie mate and I were parked up near the cemetery in Mylittlebus [our RV] for a couple of hours and scounted around visiting the lake, the Lights on the Hill Memorial and the cemetery where we did a chase. It was a great walk down to GZ for this one but it was out of my hands or out of my paws. I sniffed as well as I could but I was not going to get into the water to sniff any closer so I wandered away while Lis stayed for a while. To no avail though. DNF. But had a great, great time. By the way. I am a trackable myself. 183EKZ.
On my way home from Maryborough, Queensland. Today I travelled from Ipswich to Moree. I decided to follow the Cobb & Co tourist drive (Ipswich to Toowoomba).
This one took a little searching but it was an obvious find in the end.

It is a new year and it seems I was suffering a good dose of cache blindness last time I was here.
I looked in this spot and missed it completely.
Today it still took me about 15 mins to find it.
Thanks for the cache.

Looking at the last two logs I was not sure if I would have any luck here. Also didn't fancy getting my feet wet. Put my hands in places I probably shouldn't have and was thinking of calling it quits. As it turns out no need to get wet. Persevered and found the sucker, securely attached. Thanks Tonned.
Like the cache nearby, I searched and searched without success. And while in the phone to a previous finder I asked about this one. Though their description was not accurate it did confirm a few thoughts. I'm not 100% positive but I think last nights storm may have washed this one away.

#100!! Woohoo, luckily no Troll beset us on our travels as we reached this milestone. Found without too much trouble, this park seems heavily flooded with muggles but we were able to nestle ourselves out of view to come up with the goods. TFTC Tonned!
Been to Stanthorpe and Warwick and now onto the Toowoomba area. Just heading home to Brisbane celebrating my birthday. This was a nice hide that took as some time to find. So glad to see it!

My son and I enjoyed the walk to get this one - it was fairly challenging to find and as time passes it will be interesting to see if you see a few DNFs here. I forgot my pen but took a photo of the log as evidence of the find and will be happy to forward it to the CO if they desire. The birds here are awesome - at first I thought they were just what my hubby calls 'Inala dump birds' but when I looked properly and saw they werent I realised they are actually quite beautiful. I was also very impressed with the info centre. Wouldnt have stopped here otherwise so TFTC
