Yay, I found it.Leaving Flinders Ranges and heading towards Port Augusta and then west to WA TFTC
Didnt find it! What I thought would be a simple find turned into a longer than expected search which turned up nothing. Definitely not in the usual spot unless its been pushed deep inside. TFTC!
Today is our 2nd day in South Australia, visiting from Brisbane. We started in Port Augusta and spent the day driving to Hawker and back.
Still slowly making our way west back home to WA but a day trip from Melrose to Quorn via Port Augusta is todays plan.Grabbing caches as we go, easier to stop when not towing.TFTC
On an adventure with Boston my geohound from Canberra to Port Augusta via Geelong for my Dad's 80th birthday staying for a few days and today decided to go to Quorn and Wilmington .... love the history here, what quaint little town here saw this cache and had to get it. An easy find so signed the log and placed back for next person to find. Tftc OzFiresafe

A short stop here, cache found and is all good.
With a few days off work I decided to head north for a night to the Flinders Ranges, and attempt to find SAs longest unfound traditional cache and Mount Abrupt plus what ever I had time for in the area. A beautiful part of the world up here.
Thanks for the cache

We are on the road travelling up through central Australian and down the coast of WA. Geocaching has taken us to so many great places in this beautiful country. I was happy to grab a few caches along the way and this was one of them.
Loving this area and happy to make a quick find at GZ.
Thanks OzFiresafe for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

Staying in Quorn for a few days and spent today finding the caches around town by deadly treadly and the geoute, most were quick easy finds .
TFTC
Had to complete the walk along the highway after passing the Pitchie Richi workshop, crossing the railway and bashing through the long grass. Loved it but a car would be another option.
After traipsing around Western Queensland for 4 1/2 weeks then having to head to Northern Territory then SA to try and get back home that way due to border closures.
After escaping from NT to SA I was spending a few days in SA before heading back to lockdown in Victoria.
Staying at Quorn for a couple of nights and after ditching the van in the caravan park it was time to try and find all of the caches around here and also the ones on the way back to Stirling North.
A lot easier to pull over with out a van.
The 2014 OZ Mega was before my caching days and now I will also miss out on the GeoVenture 2020 in SA due to our lockdown.
Thanks OzFiresafe TFTC.

Wandering around the State for a couple of weeks and caching along the way we stopped in Quorn for a couple of days. Great weather for caching as it didn't get above 10 degs all day. Thank goodness for the heater in the car. T.F.T.C
Full time nomads exploring SA. We are now heading north to Darwin, but diverted to Quorn to see the Silo Light show last night. Leaving today but decided to attempt some more caches here in Quorn before leaving.

I may have been thru Quorn once before on a school trip to the Flinders; it didn’t leave an impression. I’ll remember it this time. TFTC.
Heading south in the continuing rain, feeling lucky that we have had so many good days while north around Blinman and Brachina. A quick find by feel not sight. Thanks OzFiresafe.
The last few days have been spent travelling around the Eyre Peninsula and coming home via Quorn. Caching was not the primary purpose of the trip but between swimming with sea lions and dolphins, eating oysters, walking through gorges, kayaking, looking at silo art and the odd beer, various caches were found - some old, some new, some with high FPs and some just because they happened to be there. Thanks to all COs for putting the caches out. TFTC.
Wasn't sure about putting my hand in there with the spiders web but after a quick feel around it was found TFTC
Away for a caching trip to the Arkaroola area.
A bit of 4 whell driving, lot's of dust and for me 3 punctures. These cut my trip short by a couple of days.
An easy find.

It was the final day of the Quorn Quondam Quest (QQQ) weekend event, and it was a day of some local geocaching around Quorn, geocaching to the Pichi Richi Railway Woolshed Flat Train Station CITO event, a climb with Laighside Legends to Mount Brown, and then traveling back to Adelaide in the evening.
I had passed this location many times during this weekend, but this was the first opportunity I had to stop. Quickly found in a typical place. Thanks OzFiresafe.

With a bit of time to kill between checkout and the nearby CITO, AlphaDeltaIndigo and I headed off to finish the caches around inner Quorn that we didn't get on our Friday night walk. Six years on and I'm still finding the odd 'Where is Oz Mega 2014' cache. TFTC OzFiresafe!
Up this way for the JLWE and took the opportunity of a couple of local finds

We are in Quorn for the June Long Weekend. We are pseudo JLWE eventers as whilst we are here we are not doing the game day on Sunday. But with so many cachers around and so much going on couldn't resist making the journey up.
Camping at the Quorn Campsite so the hound doesn't upset anyone, what a lovely campsite it is too.
Had an terrific day of caching, today was about quality over quantity. It was a wonderful day to be alive, the scenery was spectacular, we loved seeing the Pichi Richi train. Quorn is a lovely place, we found the people to be so welcoming. We couldn't do as much as we wanted with the dog in tow but we still had a brilliant weekend.
Without a doubt we will be back up here sometime to head a bit deeper into the Flinders Ranges and see a bit more of the lovely scenery.
Quick find here in the never ending where is oz mega 2014 series, it is the series that keeps on giving! Will there be a new series for 2020? TFTC OzFiresafe
