Had a look this evening with bella at waggy and even I couldn't find it??
I'll have to reassess my cache making skills before deciding what to do with this cache.

04-Oct-18
A look earlier in the day and no result although we did wonder about a certain item.
Back later with the CO and he couldn't find it although it was dark. Hopefully it can be spotted in the day light.

05-Sep-18
Oh come on !! Razz
How hard can it be to find a cache on a boardwalk ?? [:o]
Obviously ... very difficult Red Face

I've no clue how this one is hidden,
despite looking for every known way of hiding a cache known to man Big Grin

Awesome cache! Thanks. Very creative

16-Jul-18
Great cache. Great hide. Well done indeed.

10-Jul-18
Took a bit of time to find the little thing. I'd driven past this reserve a dozen times without knowing that it existed. This cache brought the reserve to my attention, and I'm glad it did. TFTC!

Decided to take nan and pop on a walk and find some caches before they headed home. Parked in a spot i had parked before and we headed off. this was the third cache of the day. i knew this one would be tricky and was thinking that i wouldn't make the find the first time around. After 5 or 10 mins i managed to find the nicely hidden container. nana and pop were surprised at how samll it was and how sneakily it was hidden. TFTC

We have headed south a few weeks early to have a little holiday prior to attending the Oz Geomuster Mega event. We have found ourselves based in Port Macquarie for a few days which has enable us to spend some time exploring some of the nearby towns. Razz

We had no difficulty in locating the cache and with our name added to the log book, we continued on our way.

Thank you Browngang for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy Cool

28-Mar-18
Just wasn't able to spot this one today - another time!

24-Mar-18
Found a few months ago but forgot to log

22-Mar-18
The heavy rain ensured there was very little other foot traffic on the way to GZ, but it made the track slippery and dangerous. I looked around GZ in the usual places without luck and could not see anywhere it might be. However, I had a last look in the one place I had not searched and there it was, what a great cache! I felt quite self satisfied as I returned to the car, thanks Browngang for a clever and original hide.

20-Jan-18

We have travelled up from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to Port Macquarie for our annual summer holiday, camping in our Jayco Swan Outback camper trailer at the Breakwall (Sundowner) Holiday Park. Today we spent the morning at the Kooloonbung Creek Nature Reserve, collecting caches around the circuit track, then after lunch we visited Historic Roto House and the Koala Hospital. This was our 7th find of the day, and 56th find of the holiday.

After finding "Gum Tree Comedian" we next came to this one. It took us a while but we eventually spotted the nicely camoed cache. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC Browngang.

26-Aug-17

20-Aug-17
Struggled to find this one but a clever cache none the less. TFTC

20-Aug-17
Well the weather has let us down a bit today. After weeks of blue skies and temperatures in the 20's we've got clouds, strong winds and have had to break out our jumpers. Still it's much warmer than back home in Victoria, and we aren't battling rain, hail or snow, so we are really quite happy to be here. Lots of lovely caches for us to find just puts the icing on the cake for us.
This one was a real struggle for us to find, but it is a well disguised and well hidden cache so it deserved the time we spent looking.
TFTC

06-Aug-17
What a glorious sunny day for some Caching, so we thought we would head down to the Port Macquarie area. What a lovely spot and walk, but even after PAF still no joy for us today. Many thanks anyway

06-Aug-17
After a further clue from our PAF, we returned to GZ and finally found this clever hide. TNLN SL TFTC

21-Apr-17
Good to go again. Have fun!

05-Apr-17
Taken in for some maintenance. It was still there.

28-Mar-17
I'm not sure if this one is still here after all the rain. I looked in the usual places as indicated by the hint but there is lots of debris and ground litter around here and under the boardwalk. Did a bit of scraping back of the natural litter around some areas but found nothing on this trip. I will look again when I'm back in the area. thanks anyway

5274. Out and about with Relish64 checking out the many attractions around town. We selected this one as a must do based on all the favorite points that it had accumulated. After finding a very convenient car park, we headed in. Fortunately we soon found the very neat hide as we were nearly carried away by the mozzies. Unfortunately the log was rather damp and to avoid destroying it, we just grabbed a snap. A picture that one cant really add to ones log as it would be a great spoiler, so hopefully the CO allow us to log this as a find and we would be happy to forward the photo.
TFTC and deserving of another favorite point. I definitely haven't found one like that before!

26-Jan-17
Found with Lonely RA on Australia Day. Log Book is wet. Needs Replacing. TFTC.

Up grabbing a few last caches around Port before heading home today. My GPS had me moving about the boardwalk so after much searching, I was pleased to make the find and be able to sign log. Next time I would have brought the areoguard.
Thanks Browngang for placing & maintaining the cache for us to find.

I refuse to divulge how many times we've tried to find this one. Maybe we looked there the other times, maybe we didn't. But we've now finally crossed it off the list. Thanks for providing such long running frustration and entertainment Smile

30-Dec-16
The boys were now out for Golf so that meant I could get one or two more caches.
We were all over the place. The GPS was not playing well and I couldn't see anything that I needed. There was old phones and charges, books, finger nail polish dryers, lawn bowls bowls.....so much rubbish. I went back a checked my phone looking for hints in the logs or photos and noticed it was only found 10 hours ago. Well I can't give up now I must find it. More looking, widening the search... that was dumb.
Finally, we phoned a friend. I must find it. Then it didn't take long to find. Really cool little cache.
TFTC!!!

Stopped in Port for a couple of days on our way home to Sydney from the Waterfall Way. Nice to revisit the town after we had a holiday unit here over 25 years ago. Must admit we searched here unsuccessfully earlier this morning when it was both low tide and our geosenses were not working too well. Not sure what those two have to do with each other but a tip-off from a local geocacher had us back here this evening at high tide. With the prospect of pre-dinner beers our senses were sharpened and we saw/felt what we couldn't this morning Top container! SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek

01-Oct-16
Unfortunately couldn't find this one. Thanks anyway!

19-Sep-16
Found with good friends on a drive around town site seeing. Great cache container and hide. FP from us. Sorry for the late log.

19-Sep-16
Found by Mary & David, in company with doheng, at 1210. A short but pleasant walk to GZ. Spotted a large guardian lizard sunning itself beside the path just before the boardwalk. It just sat there as we passed. Found the well-hidden cache after a few minutes searching. Loved the beautifully made container, which deserves a FP. Our thanks to Browngang.

28-Aug-16
Tricky little find I must say. Log was all wet but I managed to put another piece of (dry) paper in there. Maybe it just wasn't tightened properly?

23-Jul-16
Driving by and our plan was to break the drive and stay in Port Macquarie tonight. So after a day behind the wheel, we arrived, dumped bags into the motel room, and I fired up the GPSr to see what my find for today was going to be (hoefully). It pointed me this way.

500m walk stretched the legs somewhat, and gave me a chance to read up a little bit on what awaited me ... hmmm, I might need a plan B. But as the sun disappeared behind me and I descended into the darkness - torch in hand I wandered along the boardwalk enjoying the sudden serenity. It really is lovely in here.

Trundled along to where the GPSr said I should put it away and use my eyes, and commenced my search. Oh. There it is. How gorgeous - you are awfully clever. A fav point for the effort and the lovely location.

Thanks for placing this cache, Browngang. Found in good condition.
Cool *{Overall find #4720}* Cool

We're visiting from Florida, USA. That was great fun but no luck today. Sigh. Thanks for placing the cache.

28-Jun-16
We overshot the parking for the cemetery cache nearby so decided that we may as well give this one a go. :O we weren't sure how we would fair on a Browngang cache. We smiled politely as we passed a lady walking in the opposite direction and hoped that GZ would be muggle free.

We had a hunt around , looking here and looking there. We realised a close cacher friend of ours had found the cache. Hmm lets keep searching but maybe PAF would be the case.

But them bam! Mrs Staybe said quietly - I think I found it. Yep! She had. Yay! Found much faster than expected and without any assistance.

Thanks for the creative cache Browngang.

12-Jun-16
Did not go down into mud but after considerable time DNF

05-Jun-16
What a sneaky cache and a really awesome container. Even though the weather wasnt too beautiful today, the location is really nice and I enjoyed to see some hidden nature I would not see, without geocaching. Unfortunally I lost my pen on my way to the cache so I had to use a photo-log. You can see the last written log in the logbook and my watch for date and time. I hope it counts as log. TFTC Zingzang

When MMH&M suggested we should find this one as they liked it, we had no idea what to expect. It took us a little while to locate but when we did we were suitably impressed. Funnily, it was as we were nearing the end of the boardwalk we decided to check the hint- very helpful. Thanks Browngang, a favourite for the container!

24-Apr-16
Found it after walking along the boardwalk, took quite some time. Finaly saw some small thing out of place and found it. Very nice camo & hide.TFTC!

12-Mar-16
Spent Saturday morning in Port Macquarie visiting the local markets and high-rated caches. I loved discovering this entire area - it felt so isolated from the rest of the world! The cache itself caused me no end of trouble and I must have spent an entire hour trying to find it, crawling around in the mud, walking back and forth with my GPS in hand, scrolling through past logs to try and find a hint. Eventually, in desperation I plonked myself down on the ground and then suddenly - I had it! What a lovely cache container, I'd like to see more in the same vein. Thanks for the cache!

09-Mar-16
On holidays in Port, and this morning the geo-widow decided it was time for a bit of retail therapy ... I'd been expecting this to happen at some point so had left the CBD caches to await that eventuality.

I really liked your camo on this one, it's very creative and something I've not seen before ... well done! The find itself was a fairly straightforward one, though, mostly because someone, in their 'wisdom', had added some additional and unnecessary camo to the hide. I have removed it, so that the hide is now a D3.5 again rather than the D1.5 it had become ... I hope that's OK with the CO.

Thanks for a great hide Browngang, which I'm giving a fave point to for originality. Good job!!

01-Mar-16

After working on Pprass's new caravan for the last 2 days, he took us out to find
some caches in the area.

The co-ords were spot on for us, today. The very cleverly constructed cache was found
after a short search - well worth a favourite point from us.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Browngang, for us and others to find.
