Found with Prin666cess. Great climb to wake me up before a drive along the great ocean road!!
Easy cache to find, hard cache to get too. The cache was cammo'ed but easy to see if you are looking. A slow scramble up the tree got us to the cache, signed and slowly down.
I didn't notice any trackables as per inventory in the cache.....

The geomonkey made quick work of this one , even in the dark he clambered up with me shining the torch to help guide his way. He found the nice cammo container and while holding on signed the logged before making his way back down again.
Thanks Xian 06 for the climb.
Thanks Xian 06 for the climb.
What a great hide, I got this one and at 68y, if I can do it at my age anyone can do it. This one gets a favourite from me.

TFTC! it was a fairly obvious beacon, and with the hint I found that cache quick, probably the highest cache I have ever done

Reissdorf and I spend almost a month in Australia. Our long awaited holiday.
After visiting Sydney, Ayers Rock & Kings Canyon and Melbourne, now we are on the Great Ocean Road.
Nice parc and nice cache. Reissdorf is a good climber.

Found this cache on a blustery day with a few first timers. Only for the confident and agile, but it was a lot of fun to retrieve.
We watched while the teenager scaled that mother like a pro. Otherwise we would have attempted it carefully. Great cache!
Found while out with MrsBlackDuck and her family. Log signed with the help of MrsBlackDuck's daughter who was more than happy to do what needed to be done!! Fun!!
This is a great cache when you don't have to move off the ground. Luckily team Cadotoha did the climb not as nimble as he thought lol
Today we explored Geelong and surrounds using geocaching as a guide.
Mr T took on the challange and was rewarded with the find.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

This was our second visit to the park and this time we were prepared to make the climb. It was a team effort to remove and replace the cache. a great tree for climbing. TFTC and the challenge!
Tftc an interesting climb. Find #37 for our trip. No TB in cache. Co you can visit the tb page and mark it as missing. When it returns it can continue its journey. This will remove it from the cache page.
Quickly spotted the most likely suspect, thongs made for a very sketchy climb. Still good fun. TNLN TFTC

Heading to Anglesea for the weekend with Sully1, we decided to grab a few caches while on the trip down.
We spotted this easily enough, and oddly, SUlly's coin toss ended with me doing the retrieval. (I really should check that coin for 2 heads) A nice challenge, adding to the faves, thanks xian 44

Bogonghazy and I pretty much had Torquay all crossed off not so long ago, but it seems there have been some new ones published since our last trip this way, so we detoured via here today to collect them. Lots of muggles walking the tracks, but none seemed interested in us. LOL. I spotted the hide quick enough, so BH went to retrieve it Soon in hand, logged and returned, then back to earth and onwards bound. Thanks to Xian_44 for the cache.
We (G&JMelb) arrived here on holidays in Torquay last night whilst MMelb is on a School World Challnge trip and is currently in Cambodia! This morning we went to the Farmers Market and then of course had to vote (absentee voting is the best, no queueing!!!) We set off for some caching and this was next on the list... Well we kind of wished we had MMelb with us coz he loves doing this sort of thing but GMelb managed very well!!! TFTC Xian_44, GMelb enjoyed it lol - A fave point from us - GJMMelb
Last time we were in this park, the weather was nice and the muggles were out. Not so today! In the drizzle, the only spectators we noticed were a family of magpies and a few ducks.
The vulture soared into the tree, opened the container when he could reach it and - oops - out fell a little plastic trumpet. Well, that's not going back up! It's going to end up in another cache. Hmm, in order to reach and sign the log, he had to continue his climb to get closer to the well-hidden and secured container. Once there, he could carefully investigate the contents, free a TB (only one was home) and leave our mark in the log book.
Thank you for the hide and for the challenge!

Cold day in Torquay, good climb up the tree. I appreciate the effort in putting that cache there!! We took the Ned Flanders TB, will move on ASAP. TFTC!!
Windy and wet day in Torquay. Found this cache with mattbaden. Cleverly hidden and camo'd.
Our last cache in Torquay! Now we have found (or hidden) them all! We need some more caches published now or we'll run out of caches completely.
Geomum and Geodaughter are both terrified of heights so it made sense that this one was the last one we did. Excuses kept being raised about why we couldn't do it (school play, holidays and so on) but finally the vast array of excuses was depleted and they agreed to let geoson climb the tree as long as they didn't have to be there).
We had been to the location once before and knew where the cache was so we showed up today and quickly located the cache again. He then pulled himself up onto the first branch and began the climb. He pulled himself up and a couple of times found himself on the wrong side of branches so had to duck and weave through branches. About 2/3 of the way to the cache he got a bit stuck but with he persevered and soon the cache was (sort of in reach). Geoson couldn't see an ideal place to pull himself up so he stretched to undo the lid and pull the log out. He finally extracted it and then got into the most awkward part of the cache (signing the log). He decided to sort of lean against a solid(ish) branch and soon the log was signed. Getting down was pretty uneventful and soon we had found safely completed this cache we have been waiting to do for so long.
TNLN SL TFTC Xian_44- this was a great one (that possibly could have a higher terrain rating???)

Found it and got most of the way there. Was not able to get it down to sign the log.
So much fun. Kasey was the retreiver. Three generations up the tree helping to get this cache.
Spending a few days in Torquay so decided to grab a few caches. Here with sulkybear and our 2 geokids (ages 3 & 5). Sulkybear was ready to climb this one but as per pervious logs it has broken. Only a little climb and we had it in hand and signed. Big repairs required. Great idea though. Thanks for the cache. Oh, no TB here either. Cheers
See log. We recommend a more durable rope for retrieval and a better quick release system to avoid our issues in the future.
BAMO (brisal5, aussie M&M, mogni, Owl) came to Geelong on a mission to collect all 7 souvenirs of August in a day. [B)]. That achieved on the Saturday it was time for cache your way home Sunday.
Off to this one. Saw the silver snake retrieval system and look to where that ended. Looks pretty solid so of course being the wrong side of 55 years and 120 kg I volunteered to do the climb. Did I also mention I a little scared of heights! [XX(].
But Up I went anyway. took a few wrong turns and kept getting branches in the way. Got to a height I could reach up to it and decided that is what I should do. Wrong. Fiddle for a good 5 minutes with one hand whilst hanging on for dear life. Finally got it off and then thought how am I gonna sign it. [?]. Let the ladies sign it. Dropped to them and whilst they fiddled with the contents I climbed higher to find a comfortable position. Damn the position I found was where I should have been. Not only could I sit down on a branch with feet comfortable, I had both hands free to operate the silver snake. Double damn I could have used both hands to undo the cache and wrote the log myself. Obviously too early in the morning.
The ladies attached the cache and I raised it up. Got to the end of the silver snake. No cache. [?] It had hit a branch and dropped off. So I let the silver snake fall to get it reattached. MY BAD. It just caught up on itself over and over a again. A giant tangle. Oh dear. So down I went and the ladies tossed up the cache to a spot lower down.
And then it happened. [B)] Fatigue and acrophobia set it and I no longer able to take it back to it's position. My apologies xian 44. It needs to be relocated back into its proper position.
Loved your cache and despite everything it was an adventure and gets a favourite.

We made a quick and brisal5 offered to make the retrieval for us. Sadly he was unable to sign for us so passed it down..... Don't do this!!! the person with the cache should sign it
Thanks for the adventure.
Thanks for the adventure.
What a fiasco! It was meant to be a cache to put everyone in the mood for a day travelling home, caching as they went. Brisal5 volunteered to make the climb, cheered on by Mogni, Owl and Aussie M&M. He got to the top without too much difficulty, but then the problems started. The quick release didn't and by the time he'd managed to extricate the cache, he'd dropped it. The recovery system broke, tangled and broke again. The women resorted to tossing it up to Brisal5 who had to come halfway down the tree to catch it. Then he got the wobbles and they were worried that he'd share the same fate as the cache. It has been left at a much lower altitude to avoid serious damage to both the cache and the finder. Sorry about that, but safety first and visitors from South Australia don't carry ladders in packed cars!
Sent up brisal5 for this cache and all was well, until, well just reread his log and you will understand. When we realised he was not going to replace the cache safely we made the joint decision to leave it safely but lower down. As such maintenance will be needed to replace the cache. We had to ensure he got back down safely as our primary concern. TFTC, it was certainly a memorable one.
Got a crook back put luckily I had alchey on seen to do the dirty work and grab the cache for me.
Thanks xian 44 for the cache
Log signed & replaced. TFTC & smiley face

This was fun.. Completed at 10:20pm bit of a tough climb at night but managed to log it. Good cache this one. I think a head light would be preferred for this cache
Easy climb fortunately as the wind is up

Set out to grab a few local caches on a calm Winter night. Had planned to do this one on the way home but I hadn't read the description. so I thought I'd have a look to see if I could do it at night, spotted the cache and thought I'll give it a go. Set up the torch to illuminate the tree. It was interesting to see the contents of the cache which are only useful if you can climb back up the tree after you fall. Completed safely but not advised at night by your self.
Thanks for the Cache Xian_44

Day trip today down to TQ and luckily no rain. Love love a good climb! Well camod cache to add. Quickly up and down on the glorified ladder. More climb caches please! Fave from me.
A fun way to get to a well camouflaged cache. Thankfully the other half of our team can climb!!
Great place to hide it!! Found it no problem with the help if our little monkeys!!
#5912 Oooh a challenge - we looove a challenge . Fortunately at this time of day there were very few people around meaning Dad could do what he loves to do most. Although on his way down he had to wait about 5 minutes whilst a couple of dog walking muggles meandered.....very slowly.....past. The cache was still in good condition on our visit. Our thanks to zian_44 for the cache and fun. Cheers [^]
